#10 : Firebot Falcons
Starting from the bottom, we have a very bad team in the Firebot Falcons. This team will have an hard time to avoid getting utterly embarassed week after week. The Falcons' manager, soulgazer, was reportedly declared drunk at various points during the auction. To make things even worse, the other manager, BLOOD TOTEM0, was reportedly seen spamming dank memes in cpg discord server while the auction was ongoing. This lead to a very poorly assembled team. Most prominent player on the team is undoubtedly Sweepage, who is best known for quitting on his teammates halfway through the competition and for having one of the worst spl and world cup combined records ever. Altough most of the players on the team are respectable ones, none of them stands out for his winning mentality and/or leadership.
Worthy mentioning: Falcons is the only team in the tournament that does not have an individual trophy holder on its roster. This will certainly not help their cause.
Prediction: 0 - 9. Sweepage gets banned before week 7.
Managed by pearl and rozes, here we have a very interesting wifi wolfpack team. While certainly not playoffs material, this team will provide memorable memes thoughout the season.
Prediction : 2 - 7. Tokyo Tom comes out with a couple of great memes that will get him at least 200 likes.
Here we have the very much disappointing team of the ever grande BIGs. For the 2nd season in a row this team will let their (very few) fans down, largely missing playoffs once again. Ciele(phant) will undoubtedly carry this team of losers with monster performances week after week, although his efforts won't get them any higher than the 8th place. He may receive some help from the italian prodige Alexander and the german veteran Porengan, but this will not save them from another season of misery.
Prediction: 3 - 6. Coconut goes nuts after timing out 2 weeks in a row.
Here's another team that will most certainly enjoy early vacations. Don't let the presence of old and experienced veterans like Mcmeghan and Tamahome misguide you: this team sucks and they will prove it fondly. With the exception of the aforementioned players and a couple of others, the rest of the team will struggle to put up a positive record
Prediction : 3 - 6. p2 gets a stunning victory in week1, but in the euphoria that follows he loses his balance, falls to the ground and injures his right hand. result: p2 gets sidelined for the remainder of the season.
As we approach the top 4, you would expect teams to be better. But no. In the Indie Scooters we have yet another very wack team. Despite having a couple of respectable names on its roster, this team totally lacks competent players in the 2 most recent generations. That and the objective ineptitude of the team managers won't get them any higher than the 6th place. I highly doubt that picking decent newgen players come midsason will get them back in playoffs contention.
Prediction: 4 - 5. cbb gets mad after missing playoffs and starts insulting his own players.

#5 : Alpha Ruiners
At the 5th place, managed by luigi and hantsuki, we have the very enigmatic Alhpa Ruiners team, a mix of old vets and newgenf4gs players. While there's some concerns regarding the real value of some of its players, this team doesnt look utter trash like the ones ranked before. Which is still something I guess. Ruiners' keys for having success this season may be resumed as follows: 1 - whether or not the team's most charismatic figures like idiofrommars and golden sun will be able to carry unbearable losers like blunder and smurf and compensate for their lack of talent with their experience and leadership; 2 - whether or not the team's second rates will manage to meet expectations. If they fail in doing so, they may as well experience a forgettable season.
Prediction: 5 - 4. loose cannon wannabe.
This team definetely has what it takes to make it to the playoffs. Just dont hope for anything better. As soon as playoffs start and the going gets tough, this team will be completely torn apart and will be very quickly forgotten. In the meanwhile, while we wait for their inevitable downfall, we might as well enjoy the colourful interactions between the many picturesque personalities on the team like zamrock, the meat and new breed.
Prediction: 6 - 3. Zamrock announces retirement after playoffs elimination.
#3 : Stark Sharks
Managed by Mdragon and malekith and lead by high sounding names like ViL and Kevin Garret, this team will surely have a say in this tournament. While their strenght in the generations from 1 to 5 is unmatched by any other team in the tournament, much of the external observers' concerns come from the team's very dubious consistency in the newer tiers and whether or not they will be able to work together as a team.
Prediction: 6 - 3. PDC will repeat his poor wcop performances and his personal downfall as a player will continue.
Managed by the much controversial yet 2 times spl winner kingtsunami and the also very controversial omfuga, this team may have very well been ranked 1 step above. Keys for success are 1 - Earthworm's effective commitment and positive influence on the rest of the team 2 - whether or not the team's many conflicting personalities will either implode or make everyone better. Having a limited roster will not help them too. They will be fine during the regular season unless they let reymedy run the team.
Prediction: 8 - 1. Loses in Finals.
#1 : Team Raiders
Much like the Stark Sharks, the Raiders have a consistent US East base, including most recent tour winner BKC and a decently good supporting cast. Will this be enough? Probably not. They will go through a very good regular season, proceeding to sweep trash team after trash team, and entering playoffs in a very good shape. At this point kingtsunami will realize the only way to beat the Raiders is to get BKC to become a tagpro addict. BKC will be nowhere to be found for the rest of the season and the Raiders will suddenly turn into a very mediocre team, resulting in them getting eliminated as soon as playoffs start.
Prediction: 8 - 1. BKC becomes a tagpro addict.

This team definetely has what it takes to make it to the playoffs. Just dont hope for anything better.
