The problem with Firebot links is that they can't be viewed by anyone without an account. Most of our social media followers aren't forum regulars, so it's essentially a dead link to the main peeps we'd be aiming at. I'll tag tennisace for his thoughts, though, since it would otherwise be cool to get some media hype on this~
 
yeah i didn't really think of that, maybe we can put the thread somewhere temporary and have the link in firebot redirect there or something? I think having a tourney with a tangible prize in a tier so casual and easy to enter would be a good motivator for lurkers to join the site and get into things. It shouldn't really be totally detached from Firebot tho, because having people look at the forum is a plus for us

I can move the thread here and leave a permanent redirect if you'd prefer. Firebot users would still see the tour then, but it's also a public forum that social media peeps would be able see (plus tournament regulars that don't frequent Firebot would notice it as well.)

The important thing for an actual announcement is that CAP 21 concept submissions are open, and that CAP 21 will include both a new Pokemon, and a mega evolution for it.
