usum is about to come, so i thought i'd just drop all the fun sets i've used

use this on webs to slow down all the scarfers. this set was much btr early gen because all of them were grounded. scarf landot and latios werent rly a thing at the time. this set can still work tho, just less effective.

this mon absorbs tspikes, which is huge for rain teams. u sd up and kill all rain answers. ferro coming on ur sd? naw 2hko by aqua tail. mons like venu and pex die to explosion and jab is a great overall stab for bulu, tang, and shit.

i've been trying to get this ranked for a while, but ladder success don't mean anything, even if i am undisputed the GREATEST ladderer we have seen this gen.

i made this set a couple hours ago and i want to try it out. dd + outrage can pressure toxapex since they run spdef now. waterfall hits pretty hard under the rain. u also can get a second dd on mons like venu and tang which force out specs kingdra usually.

the icing is the bluk berry natural gift (90 bp fire physical move). send this early game when rain aint up and bop the ferro. nice for sciz and tana too.

untested tho, but it looks hot.

Ability: Cursed Body

destiny bond still hits darks and some players are forced to trade the bannette for their ttar or ash gren, which is a trade id always make. wisp is always nice. gunk shadow claw is very hard to handle. gunk just destroys gren on the switch if u predict right lol and shadow claw pressures a lot of defensive pivots like magearna for 40% (80% if it tries to come in). everything else is just annoyed by wisp man.

i'd def try this pokemon on an ho team. very underrated imo

nature power tran fucks over a lot of its counters like mantine and toxapex in the electric terrain. i use gigavolt cuz its just nice for one shotting pex as said and nice when u just want to nuke something. decreased zygarde usage nice for heatran in general and this set in particular.

nothing rly out of ordinary here. this set is pretty funny since a lot of ppl try to soft check kart with landot and uturn into something that revenge kills it. but naw, get that speed boost real quick and sweep. i would use this with wisp mimikyu to get multiple sd's on landot too lol. just watch out for hp fire landots which have started to pop up more.

sash loom was funny is zardy dominant metagame. it could also check a lot of mons on that xtra/sabella ho and rain teams. now zardy is basically irrelevant, rain is still popular but ye u also got stuff like venu all over and insane koko usage atm means way too mind games between bullet seed and spore.

zfire blows back sciz which ppl like to lead with when they see aero + 5 ho mons. also catches ferro off guard. i think the defense was for bullet punch. iron head exists but iron tail actually ohko's diancie so ill take that risk. u can use hp for landot but that makes u vulnerable to heatran tho idk what kind of madman risks the eq. this aero is flames tho, try it out on rain teams or set up spam cuz they dont usually need a zmove user to function so not much opportunity cost when u using this set

THIS NEEDS SO MUCH MORE USAGE!!!!! its crazy what this thing does. specs pelipper complements this thing nicely by pressure av magearna, and it can uturn out of stuff like mantine and pex which it doesnt want to play games with cuz if u hurricane a ttar by accident, ur screwed. overall insane power and the coverage is ridiculous. cant be rk'd by scarfers and priority and sets up on a lot of stuff. just have mons to pressure mag and ttar. mega latios was something i was thinking of. also keeps venusaur in check.

This is what I use to beat Stall in addition to Safeguard support from Ninetales. Knock Off is nice for Steela, Sub for Leech Seeds and pivots. Groundium Z with Smackdown lacks immunities but you cannot hit Grass or Bugtypes hard. They all fear Z-Fly so you can always Sub against them :)
