Matcha Gatcha is both Sheer Force-boosted and its burn effect is negated by Covert Cloak. It will autothaw itself if the user is frozen and tries to use the attack. It will also thaw a frozen target (that's not in move data, I tested that). It does not have the heal flag, which means Triage won't boost its priority / it won't be stopped by Heal Block if they don't fix it before DLC2.

Syrup Bomb is both Sheer Force-boosted and its effect is negated by Covert Cloak. It's a bullet move, so blocked by Bulletproof. It adds a new volatile "Syrupy" on the Y-info screen.

The following moves can now be selected in battle:
Tail Glow
Doom Desire
Dark Void
Seed Flare
Forest's Curse
Toxic Thread
Clanging Scales
Clangorous Soul
Aura Wheel
Strange Steam
Take Heart

Also, Jet Punch's quality / move group was changed from 6 to 0, correcting a bug where it was accidentally being boosted by Sheer Force, despite not having anything to negate.

In other news, Supersweet Syrup can only activate once per battle, like Intrepid Sword.
 
Crossposting this question that somebody posted on reddit because I thought it was interesting.

In this video at 9:50, Ogerpon-Fire uses Grassy Glide on the player's Basculegion and deals 173 damage. Based on what we currently know, the damage roll should have been 141-168, so there is definitely something missing here. The Basculegion has apparently been confirmed to have 188 Def EVs.

+1 252+ Atk Ogerpon Grassy Glide vs. 28 HP / 188 Def Basculegion in Grassy Terrain with an ally's Aurora Veil: 141-168 (70.8 - 84.4%)

Maybe Ogerpon's special held item secretly boosts her damage in some way? Maybe Grassy Terrain was buffed to be more than a 1.3x multiplier or Aurora Veil was nerfed? Maybe it's some other weird interaction related to Ogerpon's tera?

I tested this on a wild level 53 Corviknight with 170 hp and 117 defense in game with a level 72 Tera hearthflame ogerpon with 220 attack and seed bomb. This calc is what should be expected with the Corviknight I found: +1 0+ Atk Tera-Fire Ogerpon-Hearthflame Seed Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Corviknight: 43-51 (25.2 - 30%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
Possible damage rolls: (43, 43, 44, 45, 45, 46, 46, 47, 47, 48, 48, 49, 49, 50, 50, 51)

The Corviknight that I fought took 58 damage from seed bomb. It also didn't use brave bird or roost, so it only took damage from seed bomb. This damage doesn't line up with hearthflame mask, but it does line up with a teal mask tera with +1 attack: +1 0+ Atk Tera-Grass Ogerpon Seed Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Corviknight: 58-68 (34.1 - 40%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
Possible damage rolls: (58, 58, 59, 60, 60, 61, 62, 63, 63, 64, 65, 65, 66, 67, 67, 68)

It is possible that Ogerpon gets Tera boosts on all its stabs. This would line up with what happens in the video: +1 252 Atk Tera-Grass Ogerpon Grassy Glide vs. 28 HP / 188 Def Basculegion in Grassy Terrain through Aurora Veil: 171-203 (85.9 - 102%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO
Possible damage rolls: (171, 173, 176, 176, 179, 181, 184, 184, 187, 189, 192, 192, 195, 197, 200, 203)

This was just a quick test; I’m not 100% positive.

Edit: I'm doing damage tests on my own, but I don't think the boost to grass type moves is the same as regular same type tera. I'm getting damage rolls that fall in between what is expected of grass tera ogerpon and fire tera ogerpon (both with +1 attack)

(38, 39, 39, 40, 40, 40, 41, 42, 42, 42, 43, 43, 44, 44, 45, 45)

This is the expected roll of fire ogerpon vs the same leavanny. These are the damage rolls I have recorded for fire ogerpon in game: 51, 49, 51, 54, 51, 47.

Can you test if Fire Mask Ogerpon has unusual damage rolls while not terastallized? One possible explanation is that its held item secretly boosts its stats or damage in some way. If this is true, then we should expect Ogerpon to have the damage boost even before it clicks tera.

For example, these numbers would be consistent if the held item boosted attack by 20%.

It's ability when in Tera could be affecting the bonus and should be checked too. (I'd be surprised if it wasn't the Tera mechanic itself though.)

I believe you are right that the masks add a 1.2 boost to ogerpon's stab moves.

These are the all the damage rolls I found with the leavanny: 51, 49, 51, 54, 51, 47, 54, 49, 51, 53, 52, 46

I also got a crit which dealt 71 damage. All of these, including the crit line up with a miracle seed boost.

I also found this post, which made me curious about ogerpon's fire type moves. The damage roll in the clip vs the dragonite is strange, as unless the dragonite had lower IVs, Tera fire Ivy cudgel should not have killed the dragonite. I ended up testing tera fire ogerpon vs a level 68 whiscash with 239 hp and 122 defense.

+1 0+ Atk Tera-Fire Ogerpon-Hearthflame Ivy Cudgel vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Whiscash: 139-164 (58.1 - 68.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

(139, 141, 142, 144, 145, 147, 149, 150, 152, 154, 155, 157, 159, 160, 162, 164)

This is what's expected. Once again, my ogerpon has 220 attack at level 72. However, my ogerpon has yet again dealt more damage than anticipated. I've only done a couple of tests so far, but I've gotten damage rolls that hit 174, 194, and 170. Additionally, I tested ivy cudgel without tera. It dealt 90, which falls into the range of a charcoal boosted ivy cudgel. The tera calc also falls in range of a charcoal boosted tera boosted ivy cudgel.

+1 Lvl 72 0+ Atk Charcoal Tera Fire Scovillain Sacred Fire vs. Lvl 68 0 HP / 0 Def Whiscash: 166-196 (69.4 - 82%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Possible damage amounts: (166, 168, 170, 172, 174, 176, 178, 180, 182, 184, 186, 188, 190, 192, 194, 196)

Lvl 72 0+ Atk Charcoal Scovillain Sacred Fire vs. Lvl 68 0 HP / 0 Def Whiscash: 83-98 (34.7 - 41%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Possible damage amounts: (83, 84, 84, 86, 87, 87, 89, 90, 90, 92, 93, 93, 95, 96, 96, 98)

(scovillain was modified to have ogerpon's stats, sacred fire matches Ivy cudgel's base power)
 
Okay so based on the above numbers, it looks like Ogerpon-Fire's grass and fire type attacks are boosted by roughly 20%, regardless of whether it is terastallized or not.

Further lines of research:
1. What attacks benefit from Ogerpon-Fire's hidden damage boost? We have confirmation of Grassy Glide, Seed Bomb, and Ivy Cudgel so far. Is it all physical moves that benefit? All STAB moves? All moves?
2. Is it only Ogerpon-Fire that gets this hidden damage boost? I'm wondering if other Ogerpon formes also get a similar damage boost from their masks. And if so, does giving an Ogerpon mask to a non-Ogerpon pokemon also give a damage boost?

1. Stab moves, including special attacks. I did test this, but I forgot to write it down, but leaf storm was definitely boosted. I also tested quick attack, which was not boosted and fell into normal damage ranges
2. I did briefly test water ogerpon vs that same leavanny. No attack boosts this time, but its damage does match up with miracle seed ogerpon.

0+ Atk Miracle Seed Ogerpon Seed Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Leavanny: 31-36 (17.5 - 20.3%) -- possible 5HKO

(31, 31, 31, 32, 32, 33, 33, 33, 34, 34, 34, 35, 35, 36, 36, 36)

I'm pretty lazy to test everything, but I would imagine that the fire mask is 1.2 to fire and grass, water is 1.2 to water and grass, and rock is 1.2 to rock and grass.

I'm testing some more now, Water mask definitly boosts both stabs, same with rock mask

Still figuring out if 20% is accurate or not

It appears I may have gotten something wrong earlier. Coverage also gets boosted, I went back and checked again and I get damage ranges that arent possible without a boost to moves like take down and play rough

Edit: I also believe 20% is accurate as well, at the very least it would line up with the numbers that I have been getting

Edit2: Additionally, I was using rock mask for testing this, I tried out teal mask but it gets no boost

Edit3: Completely unrelated to the above, masks only work for ogerpon, giving them to something else does nothing

I put the Embody Aspect ability on a Pikachu, sent it out, and it did no boosts.

Ogerpon forms 0-3 are not in the reversion list, so they can be hacked in without a mask. Forms 4-7 are in the list, and will revert in the box or start of a battle.

You can change the Ogerpon ability regardless of the mask, e.g. hack in Cornerstone form, change its ability to Speed Boost. But if you Terastallize it, it'll be swapped out for the battle-only form and ability becomes Embody Aspect.

The bonus seems to be tied to Ogerpon wearing its matching mask. Here were my tests (all unTerastallized):
- Wellspring Ogerpon holding Wellspring Mask had a 4915 base power modifier when using Slam.
- Wellspring Ogerpon holding Wellspring Mask had a 4915 base power modifier when using Magical Leaf.
- Wellspring Ogerpon with no held item had a 4096 base power modifier when using Slam.
- Cornerstone Ogerpon holding Wellspring Mask had a 4096 base power modifier when using Slam.
- Teal Mask Ogerpon holding Wellspring Mask had a 4096 base power modifier when using Slam.
- Teal Mask Ogerpon with no item had a 4096 base power modifier when using Slam.
- Pikachu holding Wellspring Mask had a 4096 base power modifier when using Slam.

Also the check for unremovable items has 3 hashes for items for devID 1011 (Ogerpon) so I'm guessing all the masks are unremovable if on Ogerpon.

The masks all have a Fling power of 60. Even though Teal Mask is a key item, you can still hack it on and Fling it.

Technician boost + Tera Boost don't seem to stack still. Had a Scizor attack a Ditto with Fury Cutter for 24 damage when caught. Catching the same ditto again but attacking it with Tera Boosted Fury Cutter scored a Ditto damaged for 32 HP. Seems to only be doing the x1.33 multiplier for Tera and no extra x1.5 raising the 40 BP move to 60 BP.
