Hi all! This is my first time here in a smogon thread. I really want to improve so I would really appreciate all your comments. :))
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 232 SDef / 248 HP / 28 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Toxic
Pretty much standard, though I find it weird having two status moves for this washing machine. However, I don't know which one to drop as I would like to cripple attackers with wll-o-wisp but I also want someone on my team to know toxic. Of course, volt switch and hydro pump are powerful stabs, VS being a good scouting move.
Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Swords Dance
My physical sweeper, somewhat. I know, I know, technically a sweeper should be fast but I am planning to sweep with bullet punch after a swords dance or two. I put EVs on HP as I would like it to be a scouter (alongside rotom-w) with u-turn at the early parts of the game. I'm not sure about superpower and I am considering roost for that slot.
Mamoswine @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Ice Shard
Good at revenge killing. Sure, a scarfed mamoswine might not be the best idea but still, some opponents are caught off guard when I switch in into this behemoth. Some would not switch out thinking that their pokemon is faster only to get OHKO'ed by mamoswine. Ice shard is for those with very low HP (just to be sure) and also for garchomp because mamoswine can't outspeed it.
Heatran @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 108 HP / 252 Def / 108 SAtk / 40 Spd
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
This is actually my lead as it sets up SR. Shuca berry and the EV spread is to prevent it from being OHKO'ed by most lead carrying earthquake (particularly, excadrill which can be OHKO'ed by heatran's fire blast). Earth power is for the opponent's heatran though I previously have toxic on that slot. Roar is for phazing which goes well with SR. It is also for those who sets up early in the game. I love it when my opponent leads with an azumarill and then uses belly drum thinking that I would switch out only to be roared out.
Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Clear Smog
- Spore
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Giga drain and clear smog for STABs. I know that clear smog is not strong but I really like that it removes the opponents stat changes. I previously had sludge bomb but replaced it with hp fire because I hate being walled with steel type pokemon, also considering that heatran faints early in the game and I need that fire-type coverage. Spore, of course I put spore. Anyone who can learn spore should know spore. :)
Espeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 200 HP / 56 SDef / 252 Def
Bold Nature
- Psyshock
- Protect
- Wish
- Heal Bell
My cleric. EV spread is to make it more reliable as it is more bulky. I previously had shadow ball in the second slot but changed it to protect to scout for moves after performing its tasks.
