Profile:
Just like with his detailed murals, Smeraldo is very meticulous with everything he does. If even the smallest detail is off, he feels compelled to fix it straight away. He likes to paint his murals just about anywhere, and once he feels inspired, there's no stopping him--he'll see the mural to completion if it's the last thing he does.

How They Met:
Smeraldo was actually one of Doduodrio's first Pokémon! One of his neighbors had too many Smeargle eggs and was giving them away, so Doduodrio chose to raise one of them.

Name Origin:
Smeraldo means "emerald" in Italian, and emeralds are green like Smeargle's paint. Also, Smeraldo sounds like Smeargle.

Profile:
Shale is similar to Sheldon: dim-witted and slow. But while Sheldon is slow because that's the way he is, Shale is slow because he chooses to be. As a result, when he feels especially motivated to act, he can actually get a lot done in a short amount of time. This doesn't happen often, though. Personality-wise, he is rather easygoing and doesn't really have any strong preferences for much of anything at all.

How They Met:
Shale is Sheldon's long-lost cousin! At the Sheldon family reunion, Shale was so happy to see Sheldon again that he decided to join the team!

Name Origin:
Shale sounds like "shell" said with a cowboy accent because Galarian Slowbro is sort of like a cowboy.

As you pass through the park gates and enjoy the cool shade cast by the canopy above, you notice a path lined with flowers. It's very lovely... And also, very conspicuous.
