Slowking is related to slowbro, who is my ... bro... huh... I didn't mean for it to come out like that.

Anyway, good stats and cool typing. Psychics all the way... except for Grumpig.

Well, the Pokedex entries also said it evolved to walk on land because its prey began to evolve into land creatures, so it wouldn't always be sucking underwater, I suppose.

Anyhow, on topic, I vote for Slowking, just because he has a really awesome design overall (I love how the Shellder becomes sort of a crown) and as a Trick Room player, I am naturally biased towards Slowking and I love Psychic types in general :)

However, I do really like Slaking too :D

Slaking is my favourite Gen 3 pokemon. Heck, it's my second favourite Normal type pokemon. Here be the reasoning/comparisons

Nostalgia

As always, let's start with the pokemon cards I have of each pokemon.

Slowking: 1

The Slowking card means nothing to me; It was one of my first yet it was pretty forgettable. The number 3 card of Slaking however was awesome; I remember being fascinated at the heavy amount of damage, the total amount of badassery of the pokemon. Going on, I confess to using Slowking before, and he's been great for me. Whenever I see a Slowpoke, I instantly run away (I hate that goddamn awful line). So yeah, Slaking wins the nostalgia factor for me hands down.

Design

So we move onto the next topic of interest, the design. Now, people are saying that Slowking has a much better design... what are you smoking? I mean look at it... it tries to be cool and ends up as derpy as you can get, bar such mons as Dunsparce and Stunfisk (which are both cooler than Slowking imo). Anyway, Slowking is a pink blob which wears a deflated lifebuoy as a scarf...okay. Also, if the "crown" has teeth, as we see in Slowbro's design, does that mean it's biting Slowking's head? Is Slowking really brainless? I mean wtf, could this mean that the crown is controlling Slowking like the mushroom is controlling Parasect? AAAAAH

Slaking, on the other hand, is the slaKING. Hehe. It's lazing around like it don't give a shit and then bam, you just got Fire Punched, or something to that extent. And then it don't give a shit again because it's allowed to, it's a king after all.

Slowking is badass. It's got a Shellder biting it's head but he don't give a shit. He's the king, he can do whatever the fuck he wants and nobody can stop him. Tryranitar? Salamence? Groudon? Lol no. All will bow down to the might of Slowking. Hail to the king baby.

This was one of the MAIN reasons why I loved using Slaking in my playthroughs when I was younger. I found that pose really amusing. Not to mention that Hyper Beam was a physical move back in 3rd Gen so it hits like a truck(though Return and Double Edge are primarily better STABs). Traunt? It doesn't even need 2 turns to decimate your 'mons(Unless you troll it by abusing protect :( ). Plus with it's 3rd Gen sprite, it genuinely looks bored at your pokemon (Not to mention, battling Norman in RSE was one of the scariest things to ever do in a Nuzlocke when u don't have Protect) So in terms of badassness, Slaking takes the cake :P
 
Slaking.

Just because I like to imagine my Dad (who I hate so much) as a slaking, and the resemblance has grown on me over-time.

Anyway, no disrespect to slowking, who's gonna win anyway...

Because it's slow and derpy like me and it'salso very powerful and smart (unlike me).

How could Slowking even be conside in a badass competition? That thing is seriously un-badass with that goofy thing around its neck (where does that even come from?) and can't even catch a Shellder by the looks of things.

Slaking on the other hand is the epitome of badassness. He couldn't even give two shits about the joke of a pokemon he's been faced up against. What does he do in his loafing turns? I bet he talks trash. He's literally doing a Burt Reynolds in his sprite too. What a badass

Being that I cannot stand any of Slowpoke's evolutionary family, I vote Slaking.

Doesn't mean I like Slaking, though. I just hate him a little bit less than Slowking.
 
Slowking - he is just generally better looking, has better cry and typing.
Another reason is that my BFF calls me Slowqueen XP

Slaking

It's quite simple actually, Slaking is at a level of badass that it just stops giving a fuck. Hell, it doesn't give a fuck in battle, it spends half the battle doing jack shit because it gives no fucks. Not only that, but it's so powerful and strong that they needed to give it Truant - otherwise, it would be the most OP thing ever.

Slaking is a champion badass. Sure, he's an asshole, but aren't most badasses assholes anyways?

Slowking, people say Slaking cause it doesn't give 2 shit sbut it's just a fail snorlax really,that doesn't even bother to look at you.

If the theme is Mummies, then Cofagrigus is clearly the winner. Asthetically, I prefer Dusclops' design. Both are creepy yet awesome, but personally I like Dusclops more.

So my vote is Dusclops.
 
Cofagrigus !

Looks more nasty behind its sarcophagus and looks more bulky even though the mummy cyclops is the bulkiest.

I'm not a fan of Pokemon that look too much like human objects. And Dusclops is one of my favorite ghost types due to a great run in Ruby version one time
 
I'm going with Cofagrigus, primarily because I like its design, wheras Dusclops was always kinda "meh" for me. When Cofagrigus first appeared in early screenshots of Black and White, it was one of the things that immediately told me it was going to be a pretty sweet generation.
 
I hate you, Dusclops!!! Dusknoir was so much cooler, how dare you be a higher tier than him!!!

Anyhow, I just started getting into UU and I am using Cofagrigus and it is awesome! It's a wonder what took it so long to get into UU in the first place. Cofagrigus is also one of the first Gen 5 Pokemon I found out about and I still think he's pretty cool. I was very surprised when I found out he was pronounced "Coff-a-greeg-uss" rather than Coe-(BAN ME PLEASE)-grig-uss like it is spelled...

(also, shout outs to everyone who did the cofagrigus avatar prank :P)
