Overview
#######
Roserade is a great pokemon in the UnderUsed tier. With a high Special Attack stat and two good abilities in Natural Cure and Technician, it Roserade can have a strong offensive presence. Moreover, it has a quite high Special Defense, (AC) which allows it to take on a more passive role. Having access to Sleep Powder, Toxic Spikes, (AC) and Spikes, it can also function as a great spike entry hazard setter. However, (AC) it does have its flaws as its poor physical Defense and mediocre Speed allow it to be killed KOed fairly easily by quite a few common Pokemon.

move 2: Sludge Bomb
move 3: Leaf Storm(space)/(space)Giga Drain
move 4: Sleep Powder(space)/(space)Extrasensory(space)/(space)Hidden Power Fire
ability: Natural Cure / Technician
item: Life Orb
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
ivs: 29 HP
nature: Timid
Moves
========
Spikes/Toxic Spikes is the main point of the set, Spikes and Toxic Spikes allowing Roserade it to set up entry hazards for its team. Sludge Bomb is a powerful move, (RC) with a high chance of poisoning the foe, (AC) which Roserade usually uses as its main form of offense. Sleep Powder allows Roserade to cripple opposing Pokemon, (RC) and can be used to allow Roserade to set up more entry hazards. Leaf Storm does an incredible blast amount of damage to Pokemon that aren't specially defensive or that resist it. Giga Drain is a weaker alternate option which that can restore health and does not result in a stat drop. Extrasensory can hit Pokemon such as Crobat, Chesnaught, and Toxicroak, all of which can take the Roserade's other attacks. Hidden Power Fire can also hit Pokemon like such as Chesnaught, and it hits Steel-(hyphen)types such as Forretress, (AC) which otherwise wall it, (AC) such as Forretress for massive damage.
Set Details
========
Natural Cure is used as it heals status from Roserade when it switches out. Technician should be used with a Hidden Power to boost the damage output. The Life Orb is used to boost the power of its Roserade's moves, (AC) and 29 HP IVs allow Roserade to take minimal recoil damage from it the Life Orb. A Timid nature with 252 Speed EVs is used to make Roserade as fast as possible, while 252 Special Attack EVs are used to boost its damage output. The remaining EVs are put in Special Defense to boost it slightly and not interfere with the HP IVs.
Usage Tips
========
You should switch Roserade in on slower Pokemon and try to use Sleep Powder. In addition, you can use it on expected predicted switches to cripple them the foe. This will allow you to get at least one layer of Spikes/Toxic Spikes entry hazards down. Sludge Bomb should be Roserade's main form of offense, (AC) as it is strong, can poison, (AC) and has no negative effects. If you have Roserade has Leaf Storm, it should only be used once as a powerful blast attack; (semicolon) but then switching out soon after is recommended. If you have Roserade is running Giga Drain, it should use it when it is super effective on a pokemon foe or they resist Sludge Bomb.(space)Try to bring Roserade in on via (bringing it in on would mean to switch it into Volt/U-turn/BP) a Volt Switch, (AC) /U-turn, (AC)/ or Baton Pass, (AC) as it does not appreciate getting hurt, largely due to its poor physical bulk. (full stop/period)
Team Options
========
Pokemon that appreciate prior damage to their opponents foes work well with Roserade, (AC) as if it sets up 3 three layers of Spikes, it will take 25% health from all grounded Pokemon. Pokemon that appreciate this are pokemon like An example of a Pokemon that appreciates entry hazard support is Entei, (AC) which deals massive damage already on the switch already. Pairing it with a Chandelure can work as a spinblocker, (AC) can preventing Roserade's entry hazards from being removed. Stealth Rock users help Roserade damage the opposing team severely when they switch. Swampert is a good Stealth Rock user in conjuction to pair with Roserade, (AC) as Roserade resists its huge Grass weakness while Swampert can take physical hits well. Mega Ampharos can handle Fire- and Flying-types. In additional Swampert, Vaporeon, Alomomola, (AC) and other bulky waters can deal with Fire-types it that Roserade struggles against.(space)Hydreigon appreciates entry hazard support and the removal of Fairies (switched around the order here so that it didn't sound as if Hydreigon appreciated hazard removal) and also hazards and can proceed to do large damage to the opponent's team. The same goes with for Mega Ampharos, (AC) and both can get it Roserade in safely via U-turn and Volt Switch, (AC) respectively. Substitute + Calm Mind Chandelure or Substitute + Calm Mind Suicune greatly appreciate Toxic Spikes support, (AC) as it aids them in setting up (IMO say how it does this; wearing the foes down). Fire-(add hyphen)types such as x, y, and z can help deal with Steel-types that wall the non-Hidden Power variants of Roserade.
Specially Defensive
#######
name: Specially Defensive
move 1: Synthesis
move 2: Spikes(space)/(space)Toxic Spikes
move 3: Giga Drain(space)/(space)Sludge Bomb
move 4: Sleep Powder(space)/(space)Giga Drain
ability: Natural Cure
item: Black Sludge
evs: 240 HP / 252 SpD / 16 Spe
nature: Calm
Moves
========
Synthesis is used for instant health recovery, but it is unreliable (I'd personally specify that weather, notably Hippo's sand, is why Synthesis can be unreliable) and has little PP, (AC) which can be annoying against defensive teams. Spikes allows Roserade to wear the opposing team down when they switch in, (AC) while Toxic Spikes works well against defensive teams and stall teams, (AC) as it cripples them with poison. Giga Drain allows Roserade to restore a little bit of health in an attack, but it is quite weak. Alternatively, Sludge Bomb can be used as a moderately powerful move with a high chance of poison. Sleep Powder allows Roserade to cripple Pokemon, but it does not work well with Toxic Spikes as you cannot have 2 major statuses on a pokemon at a time. (this last bit would probably be considered common knowledge) Rest can be used to heal Roserade to full health, (AC) and the sleep effect can be lost by switching, (AC) but when you use using it, you Roserade becomes setup bait as you are it is forced to give your opponents a free turn. However, it allows Roserade to PP stall some walls, (AC) such as Blissey. (full stop/period)
Set Details
========
Natural Cure lets Roserade sponge status and remove it when switching. Black Sludge is used for recovery and it damages Trick and Switcheroo users if they trade items with you Roserade. 240 HP EVs are used to gain maximum Black Sludge recovery and take less damage from entry hazards. 252 Special Defense EVs are used to make Roserade as specially bulky as possible. 16 Speed EVs allows Roserade to outspeed maximum Speed neutral base 60s speed pokemon with 252 EVs and a neutral speed nature. A Calm nature is used to boost Roserade's Special Defense. You may use both entry hazards if the team needs definitely needs it, (AC) but it is not generally advised, (AC) generally as missing out on another move hinders Roserade.
Usage Tips
========
Try to bring Roserade in on weak special attackers. It can easily come in on bulky Water-types such as Suicune and Milotic (even Ice Beam variants do not trouble it that much). Setting up entry hazards can be a good idea at this point, (AC) as they cannot harm you Roserade, (AC) so they have to switch or still do nothing to you it. If you are running Synthesis, you should use it sparingly as it has limited PP. Giga Drain or Sludge Bomb should be used as your Roserade's attacking move and Sleep Powder should be used to cripple pokemon foes.
Team Options
========
As Roserade is extremely frail on the physical side, it appreciates Pokemon that can take these hits. Forretress can do this and aid Roserade in wearing down the team with its own entry hazards, (AC) but you must beware of the Fire weaknesses they share. Rotom-(hyphen)Heat can burn physical attackers, (AC) and take physical hits for Roserade, (AC) and has good type synergy with it;,(semicolon -> comma) resisting its Fire- and Flying-type weaknesses. Bulky water-types can deal with fire-types that trouble Roserade. Mega Ampharos can deal with its Flying weakness, (AC) but they both it and Roserade need support to deal with Ice-types. Again, Substitute + Calm Mind Chandelure and Suicune appreciate Toxic Spikes (state why). (full stop/period)
Other Options
#######
An option for the specially defensive set is Aromatherapy, (AC) which allows so Roserade can to heal teammates up from status. Another one is Leech Seed, (AC) which allows Roserade to sap its opponent's foe's health and recover slowly. On the offensive set, Dazzling Gleam may be used to hit Pokemon like such as Hydreigon very hard. Hidden Power Ground is an alternate option to hit Steel-(hyphen)types, (AC) while Hidden Power Rock can be used to lure Chandelure;,(semicolon -> comma) a pokemon which resists both its STAB moves. (full stop/period)
Checks and Counters
#######
**Flying-types**:(add a colon after the ** in every section) Crobat can take every attack Roserade has apart from Extrasensory, (AC) which is quite rare, (AC) and Choice Banded variants can run Sleep Talk to combat Sleep Powder. Aerodactlyl resists its Roserade's Poison-type STAB moves and can easily OHKO it with Aerial Ace.(full stop/period)
**Fast Physical Attackers** Roserade's Defense is extremely physically weak, (AC) and so any strong attacker with a powerful move should OHKO it. Roserade also only has a slightly above average Speed tier, (AC) so it isn't that hard to outspeed. (full stop/period)
**Fire-types** Pokemon like Fire-types such as Darmanitan, Chandelure, (AC) and Entei can either outspeed it Roserade or take its attacks and all of them OHKO it. (full stop/period)
**Special Walls** Dedicated special walls such as Blissey, Umbreon, (AC) and Goodra can take all of its Roserade's attacks and whittle it down.
**Steel-Types** If you Roserade does not have Hidden Power Fire, they Steel-types such as x, y, and z can take all of Roserade's attacks relatively well.
**Espeon** Espeon can deal with the specially defensive set very well because of its ability, (AC) Magic Bounce, (AC) and it has super-(remove hyphen)effective STAB moves.
