RMT: Attack of the Plastic Figures - PEAKED 2084 ELO

Hey guys, it’s me, esteemed team builder and Pokémon player Cratersmash, who definitely does not only play Random formats.

Anyways, today I wanted to share this team I built to celebrate the time I’ve spent in Japan.

So, how did I begin building this team? Well, when I walked into the nerd store at the mall, I was looking around for things I would be interested in buying. Then, I saw it. There on the shelf, it was my boy, Quagsire.

Seeing that he was asleep, I quickly took the opportunity and kidnapped him. It turned out that it was a rare Quagsire that had the ability As One (Unaware+Comatose). Realizing that it was a rather small figure, and therefore cheap, I decided to build a team around him.

My first addition to the team was Latios. This provided an offensive member to contrast the defense of my status-immune Quagsire. Latios is fast and strong, and it has a unique ability called Side Eye. I don’t know what this ability does.

Next, I added Lokix. Lokix adds to this team by being cool af. Oh, and it can use First Impression to clean up weakened threats and U-Turn to pivot.

After that, I added Togepi to the team. Now, you might think that Togepi is weak and a poor choice for the team. However, this Togepi is asleep and is fusing with that one pink cloud stage from Smash Bros. This actually makes it quite tanky on the special side and compliments Quagsire extremely well.

I added Tatsugiri because it’s quite high utility. Its ability to both Spin away hazards and fire off devastating Draco Meteors is a welcome addition to the team. It also adds an interesting water immunity, which can be very clutch in certain situations.

Lastly, I have Mirror Kirby. I’m gonna be honest, this is the team member I’m least sure about. I feel like he doesn’t get much value in a lot of games. I have two other Kirby forms I could replace him with, so let me know if you want to see those.

Overall, this team is very strong. Using the tanks to slowly get rid of HP and then using the attacking threats to clean up, with Tatsugiri clicking Draco Meteor in between, is quite a strong combination.

I unfortunately don’t have a screenshot of the peak as it got corrupted.

Is this National Dex? Mirror Kirby sadly got dexited from the Generation 8 (Nintendo Switch region) games The Forgotten Land and the Return to Dreamland remake.

I think it's a good team, but it'll be hard to come by a replacement for Mirror Kirby's ability to use Mirror Coat effectively. What are the other two options for Kirby?

The rainbow Kirby is a rare version, it has different colors than the normal one.
