The monkey is back to put on a show! Choice Band Rillaboom is a great wallbreaker and revenge killer on hyper offense and bulky offense teams thanks to its ability and good movepool. Grassy Glide picks off foes like Great Tusk, Iron Valiant, and Ogerpon-W after some chip damage. Wood Hammer threatens a 2HKO on almost all bulky non-resistant Pokemon like Cresselia and Tera Fairy Garganacl. Knock Off cripples switch-ins like Corviknight, Amoonguss, and Heatran. U-turn lets Rillaboom pivot out while chipping down the opposition. Tera Grass makes Rillaboom even more threatening with Wood Hammer, being able to OHKO Toxapex after entry hazard chip as well as 2HKO Galarian Slowking and Tera Steel Clefable. Entry hazard setters such as Hisuian Samurott and Heatran pair well with Rillaboom, as they can chip down walls and put opposing foes in range to OHKO. In return, they benefit from Rillaboom's ability to remove Heavy-Duty Boots; Heatran specifically benefits from Rillaboom's Terrain lowering Earthquake's damage. Grassy Seed Sneasler is an excellent setup sweeper when paired with Rillaboom, as it gains a Defense and Speed boost and appreciates the aforementioned Earthquake damage reduction, making it even more threatening.

Sneasler is also a excellent set up sweeper when paired with Rillaboom, as it appreciates Earthquake's damage being decreased in Grassy Terrain, and with Grassy Seed and its ablilty, Unburden, gains a Defense and Speed boost making it even more threatening.
