SS OU Reuniclus Stall

The Thought Process

:Reuniclus:
I wanted to build a team around my favorite Pokemon, Reuniclus.
:Reuniclus: :Dugtrio:
Dugtrio helps Reuniclus by taking down some of the more threatening dark types in the tier that Reuniclus can't touch.
:Reuniclus: :Dugtrio: :Toxapex:
Toxapex is a great bulky mon that helps Reuniclus ware down other dark types that Dugtrio can't, and other taunt users with toxic spikes.
:Reuniclus: :Dugtrio: :Toxapex: :Sylveon:
Sylveon supports the team with Wish pass but also helps the team with sub, disable/taunt/set up abusers such as Dragapult and Hydreigon.
:Reuniclus: :Dugtrio: :Toxapex: :Sylveon: :Corviknight:
Corviknight helps the team out with defog for when hazards become too much for the team, also helping Dugtrio maintain it's sash, and can slow U-turn into Dugtrio.
:Reuniclus: :Dugtrio: :Toxapex: :Sylveon: :Corviknight: :Corsola-Galar:
Finally, one of the fattest mons in OU at the moment, Corsola. Corsola is one of the teams hazard setter, this mon is great at wearing down physical attackers with the combination of Pex's toxic spikes and Strenght sap.

The Team

:ss/Reuniclus:

Reuniclus @ :Leftovers:
Ability: Magic Guard
Happiness: 160
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Acid Armor
- Recover
- Stored Power

Reuniclus is my favorite Pokemon and with the Gen 8 changes giving Reuni access to stored power it is this team's biggest late game Win-Con. Reuniclus can easily (for the most part) wipe a whole team once Dark type mons and some ghost are out the way. The set is fairly standard, max defense, with 44 Evs towards speed so you can out speed Haze toxapex, the rest of the Evs invested in hp for max bulkiness.

:ss/Dugtrio:

Dugtrio @ :Focus Sash:
Ability: Arena Trap
Happiness: 160
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Sucker Punch
- Reversal

Dugtrio plays an important role in this team by being able to trap and get rid of some weakened threats such as Tyranitar, Bisharp, Excadrill, Aegislash, etc.
sucker punch let's Dugtrio hit faster mons like Dragapult or scarfed mons G.Darm, Indeedee or Gengar. Stone edge allows ditto to hit Togekiss, Mandibuzz and Rotom-H for over half of their max HP. Finally reversal it hit things such as Tyranitar harder then EQ once it's down to it's sash. This mon is able to put some huge dents in the opposing team.

:ss/Toxapex:

Toxapex @ :Black Sludge:
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Recover
- Toxic Spikes
- Haze

Toxapex is one of the best defensive mons in the tier, the combination of regenarator+black sludge gives Pex the ability to constantly switching in and out while passably recovering and spreading toxic spikes. Toxapex is also the primary answer for dealing with rain teams or water spam. Toxic spikes are useful for getting rid off/crippling/weakening Dark types and other mons that Doug+Reuniclus can't reliably deal with such as taunt Grimmsnarl or taunt Jellicent. This set runs max hp max defense for max bulk, alternatively you could invest the last 4 Evs into speed to speed creep opposing Reuniclus and use Haze on them before they attack.

:ss/Sylveon:

Sylveon @ :Leftovers:
Ability: Pixilate
Happiness: 160
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Wish
- Protect
- Mystical Fire

Sylveon works as a pseudo cleric for the team and is able to pass off some big wishes to struggling team members, it can also check threats such as sub nasty plot Hydreigon and Grimmsnarl, this spread allows Sylveon to be able to survive a +2 flash cannon from modest Hydreigon, Hyper Voice also has a 75% chance to OHKO sub disable Dragapult after rocks, who other wise be a neusance to deal with. Mystical Fire allows sylveon to 2HKO Ferrothorn, and hit other steel types on the switch such as Corv, Slash, Exca, etc. Due to Mystical Fires Sp.a drop, Sylveon can pressure/stall CM clef or CM Hatterine.

:ss/Corviknight:

Corviknight @ :Leftovers:
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Careful Nature
- Defog
- U-turn
- Roost
- Body Press/Brave bird/Iron head

Specially defensive Corvikight is the teams defogger/hazard control and it also helps take some pressure of Sylveon. Defog is specially necessary for Dugtrio to keep it's sash so it can perform it's job better. slow U- turn is there to assist Dugtrio into arena trapping a mon. Roost keeps Corvikight healthy, Corv aslo appreciates leftovers. Corvikight pairs well with Toxapex, since the ladder can switch into Physical fire attackers, such as Cinderace and Centiskorch and Corv returns the favor by switching into strong special psychic attackers and strong ground types. Body press is an alternative option as it can almost OHKO Bisharp, a major threat and it can 2HKO Tyranitar, without the possible need of breaking Dugtrios sash.

:ss/Corsola-Galar:

Corsola-Galar @ :Eviolite:
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Strength Sap
- Night Shade
- Will-O-Wisp

Galarian Corsola w/eviolite might be the fattest physical wall in the tier, It's also one of the hazard setters in this team. This sad boi does a good job at checking most physical attackers in the tier, running both will-o-wisp and strength sap this mon can cripple all physical attackers on the opposing team. Strength sap is it's only way of recovery however, do to this set, it doesn't fair well against taunt users, however it still runs night shade to inflict some damage. Special ghost and dark type attacker threaten Corsola, in such cases Corviknight and Sylveon can deal with such threats. Corsola also acts as a spin blocker for the team.

Threats

:ss/Dracovish: :ss/Bisharp:

Banded Dracovish 2HKO or OHKO everyone in this team. Toxapex can possibly stall out Dracovish if poisoned, due to recover and black sludge, the possibility of going Dugtrio and using sash is still there, assuming it hasn't been broken yet and no hazards in the field. If it's banded rain team Vish, you straight up lose unless you sack Duggie for the good of the team, usually rain teams don't run the type of mons, Dugtrio can benefit the team from arena trapping.

Late game Bisharp can be truly terrifying, if Duggies sash has already been used. Bisharp can get a SD up or get a defiant boost due to defog and sweep the team if played incorrectly.

+2 252+ Atk Black Glasses Bisharp Throat Chop vs. 252 HP / 56 Def Corviknight: 304-358 (76 - 89.5%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252+ Atk Black Glasses Bisharp Throat Chop vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Reuniclus: 602-710 (141.9 - 167.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Black Glasses Bisharp Throat Chop vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Corsola-Galar: 320-380 (98.7 - 117.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252+ Atk Black Glasses Bisharp Throat Chop vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 178-211 (58.5 - 69.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery

Ideally Dugtrio takes care of this threat early game, or it's burned by Corsola or Toxapex, you can even predict Bisharp coming in on defog and body press.

hey is it alright to us your Reuniclus I am trying to build a toxic stall team and you Reuniclus seems a good fit in the team Im making as a finish sweeper from a baton pass

add Toxtricity to the threats list :( if there is two of those mons (dracovish, bisharp, Toxtricity) you can be easily swept
I would also add Gengar to the list since you cant trap it with duggy and it straight up just annihilates the rest of the team because nothing can really safely switch in into gengars coverages
