SS OU Regieleki's Rainy Volt-Turn

I am here finally to make a new team. You see I love the volt-turn strategy and I wait a long time because I couldn't think of anything, but when I saw Regieleki I knew they were the one. So I don't know if this has been thought of before but when I saw Regieleki's power I thought what if I put it in rain and here we are. This is Rain team with Volt-Turn mixed in and Regieleki as the star of the show.

Pelipper @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Hurricane
- Roost
- U-turn
- Defog
--> Pelipper is a necessity for a rain team. Pelipper's only purpose is to set up rain remove hazards and keep momentum with U-turn. Normally I would put scald on Pelipper but because I have stronger water types dealing that damage I thought it would be best to have Hurricane instead to deal with grass and fighting types.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Damp
EVs: 112 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD / 140 Spe
Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Ice Beam
- Flip Turn
- Earthquake
- Toxic
--> Swampert is a bit of a special tank on the team that can also deal with electric types. It has flip-turn to get out of sticky situations and ice beam can deal with pokemon like Garchomp. Lastly with toxic it can pressure switches and deal with pokemon I can't hit that harfd

Regieleki @ Choice Specs
Ability: Transistor
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Explosion
- Rapid Spin
--> Now it;s time for the star of the show Regieleki! Regieleki is here for one purpose and one purpose only to use THUNDER and maybe explode but manly thunder. With Regieleki's speed and power it can one shot almost anything it does neutral damage to and two shot something that resist it. The only thing is that it relies on its team to remove any possible ground types

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
--> Ferrothorn can set hazards and shut down many pokemon who can do super effective damage. With knock off it can cripple some pokemon and can deal massive damage to water and ground types with power whip.

Scizor @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Roost
- Knock Off
--> Scizor can revenge kill with bullet punch and can also be somewhat of a tank. With a bulky stat spread and rain weakening fire types Scizor can last a decent amount of time on the feild plus roost can increase that longevity. It can also deal massive damge with U-turn and can remove items with knock off. Also with bullet punch the can cripple the enemy team so Regieleki can sweep better

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Haze
- Toxic Spikes
-->Lastly Toxapex is the tank of the crew. They can also set toxic spikes to help cripple the enemy team. And with Toxapex's bulk they can last a long time and with haze they prevent pokemon from setting up and sweaping the team.

And that's it. Regieleki's team to dominate the world. There are probably many places where I can fix this especially with this being its fourth attempt. I would love feedback and ways to improve or else Regieleki will just get drenched in a terrible losing streak .
-Thank you

hey, I think you really want to fit barraskewda on here. The powerful flip turn that can be clicked risk free vs ground types is regieleki's greatest ally. It's also one of the biggest reasons to run rain. I think toxapex is pretty out of place on what should be an offensive playstyle, so I'd replace it with the standard CB baraskewda: flip/liquidation/psy fangs/close combat. I also think sciz is a bit out of place, it doesn't really help vs the bulky waters or ground types that are going to be your teams biggest concern. I think you could get more mileage out of another rain sweeper, something like tornadus-t. A set of nasty plot/hurricane/weather ball/focus blast or superpower could help to lure tyranitar, threaten grounds, and just pose a general threat when neither baraskewda or eleki are up to the task. I'd recommend superpower for the hard hit on bliss, with a spread of 40 atk/216 spatk/252 speed naive.

I'd also change your evs around a little - I think the standard phys defense is the most effective way to play pelliper, as most things that it can somewhat check are on the physical side. A simple spread of 252/252 bold should serve you fine, with an optional 0 speed for the slowest possible u-turn to get in your sweepers without them being damaged. I'm not sure what the speed is for on swampert, but it definitely appreciates all the bulk it can get. I'd run a set of 252 hp/96 def/160 spdef with a relaxed nature to give you a little leeway vs garchomp, and enough special bulk to take hits from the other side as well. I think you can safely run stealth rock on it over ice beam, which only really hits garchomp, while you can always just flip turn to a rain sweeper. This frees you up to run spikes over stealth rock on ferrothorn, which helps chip defensive threats and ground types further.

Good luck!

I agree, I would also highly recommend a Barraskewda. A strategy you could try, which I did back in the very beginning of DLC2 (check out my posts for that team), is adding a Tapu Koko. In the rain, you get perfectly accurate thunders, and it sets up electric terrain for an INSANELY powerful rising voltage from Regieleki (we're talking 2hkos Blissey).
