Name Etymology:

Attitude and Motive:
Disaffected and callously distant. The threat of loss is too great to risk making new bonds with others.

Background:
Companions with her trainer Lou from the crib, and was alone in that role for years. After many meetings and partings, some sweet and some bitter, Ferre has grown cold to most others. It is her preference to no longer battle in a large team, if at all. Instead, she prefers only the company of her trainer, and indignantly waits for him to finish his business with other trainers or Pokemon.

Slumbering Weald is a forest infused with the power of Zacian and Zamazenta. Hop has tamed one of these two great beasts, and the weald has rewarded him by allowing them to share their power with the rest of his team. Due to the ancient power present and how much time Hop has spent here, his Pokemon can find themselves capable of feats they ordinarily would not be able to perform.
  • Since Hop knows about type matchups, all super effective attacks that he uses get +2 final damage.
  • Hop's Dubwool has received daily grooming, and knows how to take full advantage of it. They know Body Press and Cotton Guard as signature moves.
  • Hop's Inteleon is an incredibly precise sniper, able to use physical or special aspects for any of their attacks at will. All attacks will work off of Inteleon's higher offensive rank, with boosts in whichever offensive stat has more boosts, against the foe's lower defensive rank, with drops in whichever defensive stat has more drops. Also, Counter and Mirror Coat will always fail against them.
  • Camouflage turns the user into a Grass type
  • Secret Power may cause sleep
  • Nature Power becomes Energy Ball

Background:
Vasudhara appears at first glance to live much like her namesake. She takes great pride in her capabilities, seeing the fields of plants she may grow as proof of her grace. She feels a deep sense of responsibility towards those who aid her, but she very much draws a line beyond them. Why should those who give her nothing, receive anything of her? Thus, Euryphaessa's disregard for the gems she drops vexes Vasudhara greatly.

Unaffected and detached in manner. Euryphaessa wishes for very little at all.

Background:
Euryphaessa has little drive for anything at this time, and requires a great deal of prodding from others to attend much of anything. Her disinterest extends even the precious gemstone shells she sheds. When others, even strangers, collect them from her wake; those around her are alarmed but she herself cannot bring herself to care. This disregard agitates Vasudhara in particular, who insists that she see her cast-of "gifts" into the hands of the deserving only.

Background:
Masakado pursues a strict regimen of exercise, diet, and training to improve themselves as a warrior. It's difficult to get a direct answer as to why, exactly, they push themselves to this degree. Among Masakodo's teammates is an ever-present atmosphere of concern from their fervor and urgency in their exertions. When made to battle alongside Nebuchadnezzar, he becomes quickly annoyed with his egocentrism and perceived lack of discipline.

Brash and boastful in manner, bordering on arrogance at his worst. Wishing to prove his mastery to others, Nebuchadnezzar rises eagerly to challenges both real and imagined.

Background:
Nebuchadnezzar II is an artificial Pokemon designed from nose to tail to battle extraplanar beasts and adapt to any conceivable battlefield. Unfortunately for his teammates, this fact has gone fully to his head. His ego leads him to preen his victories before they arrive, and to curse and contend his losses in hindsight. As a result, his growth as a battling Pokemon has been much stunted. When made to battle alongside Masakado, he becomes irate with the other's stoicism and perceived lack of fervor.

Eventually, the Team Star Bosses finished their community service. By this point they had gotten bored of their bases and their monotype teams, but still wanted to help train their fellow students to battle. So, they gathered together for a different sort of challenge! Everyone knows about the Titan Pokemon that once roamed the Paldea region, before all five were caught, and the bosses decided it would be a fun theme. So each boss went out and caught a Pokemon of the same species for themself.

Well, kinda. No matter how much he searched, Ortega couldn't find anything of the same species as the Quaking Earth Titan, so he gave up and caught something else in the Asado Desert. And while searching Casseroya Lake, Eri was attacked by a Veluza, which she decided was certainly more vicious than either of the False Dragon pair she had set out to find. Regardless, the bosses got permission to bring their Starmobiles into the schoolyard at the academy, and now receive challenges from any student brave enough to take them on!
  • Two different Team Star Bosses will be randomly chosen to battle. When a Boss is chosen, the two Pokemon associated to that boss are selected for battle and the items associated to that Boss are put into the Backpack. Any Backpack item may be equipped to any Boss Pokemon, and the two Pokemon in play at the same time can be any two of the four total that are selected.
  • Team Star has remade their Revavroom into custom Starmobiles.
    • Each Starmobile has the same stats and moves as a standard Revavroom, but has a different type and an extra ability.
    • When a Starmobile uses a Torque move whose type matches their original type, that Torque move has 10 BAP. Furthermore, that Torque move does not count towards the standard limit on Torque moves for that Starmobile.
    • When a Starmobile uses a Torque move whose type does not match their original type, that Torque move has 7 BAP and its effect checks automatically fail.
  • The Titan Pokemon of Paldea were much stronger than other Pokemon of the same species, which the Team Star Bosses emulate by having trained their Titan-themed team members to Level 2 in what is otherwise a Level 1 battle. In recognition of the fact that moves and their counterplay are often unlocked at the same level, the Team Star Bosses have had their Titan-themed Pokemon forget all instances of Recover, Roost, Sky Attack, Spikes, and Stealth Rock that they would otherwise know.
  • Camouflage turns the user into a Ground type
  • Secret Power may cause flinching
  • Nature Power becomes Bulldoze
