✦ As seen in the link, Skuntank's Poison Jab can OHKO Lilligant without the assist from Stealth Rocks or Life Orb recoil. If Lilligant is low in HP (50% or less) you can snatch a quick KO with Sucker Punch

Roselia is a Check to Lilligant:
Lilligant isnt able to Sleep Powder Roselia due to Roselias Grass typing, Roselia also has access to Synthesis, which gives Roselia the longevity against Lilligant.
Roselia is able to Synthesis its health up even after a +1 Z-Hyper Beam / Life Orb boosted Hyper Beam,
also Lilligant has to recharge after using a non Normalium Z Hyper Beam and Roselia can use that as its advantage to Sludge Bomb Lilligant for a good amount of damage even when Lilligants SpDef is at +1.
Sludge Bomb also has a slight chance to poison Lilligant which leads to Lilligants KO with the Poison and LO recoil during the process.
Energy Ball / Giga Drain does nothing to Roselia since it resists those moves naturally already 4x times plus Hidden Power Rock / Ice / Fire isnt able to do much.

You probably guessed it but now but Scarf Dodrio is a check against Lilligant. Being able to outspeed Lilligant at +1 (which it is in most cases. If Lilli is ever at +2 its rip) due to its superior speed tier of 110 base speed, Lilligant falls prey to the 3 headed bird's Brave Bird. Believe it or not, if Dodrio comes in against Lilligant and it goes for Sleep Powder, Dodrio wakes up instantly the next turn thanks to Early Bird, the Lilligant user will be in a false sense of security and Quiver Dance but will soon regret it when Dodrio outspeeds and bops them.

Primeape is a check. With the Choice Scarf, Primeape is able to outspeed Lilligant even at +1. This paired with its ability to pivot out wih U-turn, doing serious damage, and simply OHKO it with Gunk Shot makes Primeape a solid check to Lilligant. This check is specially good because it functions as more than an answer to Lilli. It is a fantastic form of speed control and is a good wallbreaker as well.

With this spread Sableye completely negates all coverage moves that Lilligants commonly run. (HP Fire, HP Rock, HP Ice and Hyper Beam/Z-Hyper Beam) The only set this Sableye has to worry about is Energy Ball/Z-Energy Ball. Which is fairly uncommon (At least from my experience). Sableye can come in on Z-Giga Drain, and Z-Energy Ball followed by these plays to win the 1v1. (Do note all these Scenarios are with Sableye switching into Lilligant immediately after it comes out to the field, if you have Sableye out before Lilligant click Taunt followed by Recover or Captivate)

You would click recover on the following move and you would either spam click recover until you live a 2 hits (Over 40% Health to live Giga Drain before Recover) (Over 48% to live Energy Ball before Recover) and use Captivate. (If at any point Sleep Powder is used on the turns that you're spamming Recover follow it with a Taunt) (If at any point Quiver Dance is used on the turns you're spamming Recover use Captivate and then use Taunt to prevent Sleep and Quiver) Once you have the Lilligant at the very least -1 you can use Toxic and win by (Recover at 50% or lower , Captivate when above 50%, Taunt when it expires on the Lilligant)
Lilligant Sleep Powders turn 1 consuming your Chesto Berry. Use Taunt turn 2 to prevent another Sleep Powder or a Quiver Dance if Lilligant didn't attack you can use Toxic the next turn and follow this to win (Recover at 50% or lower, Captivate when above 50%, Taunt when it expires on the Lilligant)
You Captivate instead of Taunt and then you follow the "Turn 1 Lilligant Sleep Powder" to win.
Provided with the calcs and win scenarios above Sableye is a Lilligant counter it comes in on lilligant and stops the Quiver Dances from getting out of hand with Taunt. Thanks for reading :D

I had made this set while making a team that desperately needed a rocker that beat Lilligant somewhat consistently. Z Ice punch Is there for bulky Lilligant, but since this is only taking into account the offensive set you can just use Lum to reduce the chance they have to cheese you with sleep.

Kecleon switches in on every move Lilligant has to throw at it. And also always kills offensive Lilligant with this attack investment with Ice punch into Shadow Sneak as shown in the calcs below. Now I'm only submitting this as a Check because, probability wise you do beat it almost always. Almost sadly isn't always though. If they do Sleep Powder on your switch and force you to eat your lum, they can sleep powder the next turn (and granted they hit and get at least 2 turns of sleep) they do beat you by quivering up twice. Its extremely unlikely that all of those things happen, as there is only a %50 chance of them hitting 2 sleep powders in a row. As well as there being a 33% chance you wake up each of the 2 turns they need you to stay asleep for. There are a ton of scenarios where this Kecleon beats Lilligant but it doesnt always beat it, so I cant honestly submit it as a counter. Hope you all enjoy the set!

Simisear is an offensive check to Lilligant. Simisear can easily revenge kill a non-boosted Lilligant, and can even handle some boosted sets. A Lilligant has to be at +1 Speed to even outpace Simisear, and even then the only way it can beat Simisear is by hitting Sleep Powder and setting up, using its Normalium Z, or if it is Life Orb HP Rock after a Quiver Dance (a +1 HP Rock without Life Orb only has about an 18% chance to KO from full). Alternatively, Simisear can run a Choice Scarf and not even have to worry about Lilligant being boosted to beat it.

full disclosure; i still love scyther, even though it seems to have fallen off. anyway, imo the best offensive check to lilli in the tier. with rocks up or minimal chip, u-turn is a guaranteed ohko on 0 hp lilli, with aerial ace guaranteed without chip. with rocks/chip, aerial ace is a guaranteed ohko on 252 hp; the only thing you have to do is stop it from dancing twice (easily done by sacking something smartly) and have enough hp to come into potential rocks. not caring about spikes is neat. if you're feeling spicy switch it hard into lilli on the grass move. coolest part about scyther imo is the ability to uturn for ohkos, since it lets you keep momentum if your opponent saves lilli for later.

the defensive sd eviolite set works pretty well too if you can keep rocks off the field; i had the pleasure of discovering the below calc which frankly makes no sense.

Sure it serves the pure purpose of beating Lilligant, but the set itself is such a gimmick. That’s just my take on it, I don’t mean to discourage submissions or people voting for it, but I think people should keep the sets fairly normal and viable.
