Teambuilding:
186.gif

Well, I needed a Politoed for a good rain team, didn't I?
186.gif
641.gif

Tornadus is awesome, so I added it as a rain abuser

Every time I make a team, it gets raped by reuniclus, so I added scizor on to counter him, and many other threats.

I added toxicroak on to help combat ferro, absorb T-spikes, and basically be annoying.

I added forry and jelicent on, as hazards were RAPING THE F*CK OUT OF ME and hazard support would be nice. Jellicent compliments ferro, by spinblocking, and taking water hits for the team. On top of that, it could cripple many physical attackers and take out skarm.

I put on Starmie, as an offensive spinner, because forry was epically failing, and so was jellicent. A revenge killer (terrakion) is a HUGE help on this team, taking out flying types and many other pokes. Virizion was being USELESS, other than taking electric attacks, so I added subCM jirachi, a great rain abuser, who catches many people unprepared, expecting the standard specially defensive one. This team leaves me open to electric, but most electric types are killed by terrakion.

And now.... THE TEAM!

Politoed (F) @ Choice scarf
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Surf
- Focus Blast
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Grass]

OMG! Drizzle toed! Changed set to choice scarf to take out excadrill, and many other dangerous threats.

639.gif

Terrakion @ Choice Band
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Rock Slide
- X-Scissor
- Quick Attack
Changed set to CB, to take out stall teams&co. that I was having trouble with, and have lots of power :D. Quick Attack is for priority, and to take out priority threats that take me out.

121.gif

Starmie @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin

Offensive spinner FTW! This is Al Capone, reincarnated as a starfish, ready to pop caps up your ***. Wait it cant hold a tommy gun... pop water up your ***? Rain boosted LO Hydro Pump is nothing to laugh at and ice beam just gives me good coverage. CHanged Hydro Pump to Grass KNot, to effectively lure and dispose of gastrodon. Rapid spin to spin away all the mean hazards. Also thanks to natural cure, he absorbs deadly statuses such as paralysis and burns.

385.gif

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Thunder
- Water Pulse

Its subCM rachi! It takes most people totally by surprise, and for some reason, people rage-quit when I'm behind a sub and have 6 CM's up.... :( anyway, its a good rain abuser, and umm.... many other things that I'm to lazy to write.

641.gif

Tornadus (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 32 Atk / 224 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Hurricane
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Hammer Arm
- Rain Dance

OMG! Its the Arab wait.... Japanese OMFG! THE SOMETHING GOD OF WIND AND STORMS AND ALL THAT CRAP! Hurricane is a great move that does serious damage to lots of people, and hidden power ice provides nice coverage with the rest of the moves and Hammer arm rounds off the attacking moves nicely, taking out scary threats such as Tyranitar and all that crap. Changed Taunt to rain dance, to get my weather up even if toed goes down. It tricks people into letting ttar dying, than letting me get my weather up.

598.gif

Ferrothorn (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip

Added ferro for an electric resist, setting up rocks, and mainly supporting my team, you can tell that by looking at his moveset XD.

Kindly DO NOT F*CKING TROLL ME AND CALL ME A NOOB!

Your team is gonna get mauled by Rotom-W. It seems that Starmie is the most expendable member of the team, So I suggest replacing it with CM Latias. Latias gives you a check to sun teams as well, which is always nice.

Latias @ Leftovers
Levitate
Timid
252 SpA/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Calm Mind
Dragon Pulse
Roost
Thunder

As well, your team has no answer to Excadrill whatsoever. I suggest using a Choice Scarf Politoed instead.

Politoed @ Choice Scarf
Drizzle
Modest
252 SpA/ 252 Spe/ 4 SpD
Hydro Pump
Hidden Power Grass
Ice Beam
Perish Song (until the inevitable Baton Pass chain ban)

Well, starmie is getting kind of useless..... I'll test latias out. As for derptoed... Yeah, I've been meaning to change thE set. But doesn't that make terakkion useless? Now politoed revenges all that terakkion does.

Really weak to opposing Drizzle teams. Specs Politoed is going to kill _something_ on your team. Life Orb or Specs Starmie is even scarier, because you can't revenge kill it with Tornadus and Jirachi. Three Electric weaknesses and zero resists it's actually ridiculous. If you run into Jolteon, you can kiss the game goodbye. Rotom-W is another problem as outlined above.

You could really easily slot Ferrothorn somewhere on your team to patch this up, probably over Jirachi because you really need Scizor to keep Reuniclus and Gengar in check. Ferrothorn is a staple on almost every offensive Drizzle teams because ironically they're often weak against mirror teams, and Ferrothorn can take most Water-types really well unless you mispredict a Focus Blast or Superpower. Also you lack Stealth Rock which is pretty bad, so just slap that on Ferrothorn. If you're still getting wrecked by Rotom-W, Latios over Tornadus is a pretty decent choice, since you could run a LO version to keep the offensive momentum and simultaneously take advantage of it's great defensive typing, and most importantly, ELECTRIC RESIST!!!

You could probably make good use of Choice Band Terrakion instead of Scarf. Your team seems to struggle against the archetypical sand stall team, like Tyranitar, Skarmory, Jellicent, and company, and CB Terrakion is really good at punching holes into teams like that. You actually don't need Scarf Terrakion for quite a few reasons namely because your team is fast as hell already and you're not weak to Dragons especially if you add Ferrothorn. CB Terra does open you up a little to Thundurus, but it's checked pretty decently by the rest of your team, and if you use Close Combat / Stone Edge / X-Scissor / Quick Attack, you'll have yet another means of checking it.

I'd run Rain Dance or Tailwind over Taunt on Tornadus. With Rain Dance, you can be less conservative with Politoed in order to weaken your opponent's team, and once Poli is dead, they'll be more likely to let Tyranitar die, meaning you can Rain Dance before Tornadus is about to die and then go to town. Tailwind is also useful if you're against like a +1 Dragonite with only Starmie left. Taunt is a useful move for sure, but it's generally worth being able to forgo the ability to prevent status/phazing to fuck over sand teams.

Thank you! I've really been wanting an electric resist, and you've told me who to replace! As usual, smogon giver better advice than all other pokemon sites. I'll also try everythig else suggested. For some reason..... No one Ve battled expects CB sciOr! Theyre always switching into rotom w or what not expecting a SD, only to get hit by bug bite....

Iconic provided awesome rate for this team. However, I would replace Scizor for Ferrothorn, because Jirachi provides that useful Hurricane resists. The current offensive set can't tank Hurricanes. You may want to try a specially defensive Calm Mind + Wish variant. This will not only counter Tornadus, but will also check Gengar and Reuniclus. With buffed up special defense and Wish healing, it serves more as a team player than the Subrachi.

Calm Mind | Thunder | Psyshock | Wish
252 HP | 240 SDef | 16 Spe | Calm Nature

This also has an advantage over the usual Substitute Rain Rachi, since those variants don't have a solid means of recovery. It may still be beneficial to have a slot for Curse on Ferrothorn, so it wont be set-up bait for opposing Rain Rachi's by breaking their Substitutes with Power Whips. Too much luck + CMs may actually allow the opposing Rain Rachi to pull off a sweep otherwise.

It may also do your team good for removing Gastrodon asap. This will allow Politoed and Starmie to spam their Water moves, while not risking Ferrothorn to a Scald burns. Grass Knot > Thunder on Starmie can effectively lure and dispose Gastrodon without losing much coverage.

Thank you more! I'll run more tests tomorrow. And don't go implying I suck on one of my accounts on another site, like someone here did. Thanks
