It will be necessary if you want to implement Bottle Caps, though.
I did some rough calculations comparing normal form to school form assuming 31 IV 0 EV and neutral nature and I got: 0 HP/+133 Atk/+109 Def/+103 SpA/+110 SpD/-10 Spe for about +445 BST. Probably off by a bit but yeah, School Form is vastly more powerful to Wishiwashi who looks to have super low BST.Hmm...so since we know the stats of both regular Wishiwashi and its School form at the same level/IVs/EVs, couldn't we figure out the base stat difference?
... right, forgot about it.
But I still think the Caps will only be useful to create good parents. Unless the Destiny Knot no longer does what it did in Gen VI (unlikely), penta or hexaflawless babies will be more important.
I'm not angry over Decidueye being slow (though it's disappointing)
I'm angry because it's yet another poorly thought out "mixed attacker." Mixed attackers rarely ever work, especially if they're slow. I will never understand GF's fetish for creating.
Hopefully it's deliberately slow because it's hidden ability is Speed boost or something.
Curse you 4chan!You should watch that video.
Spoiler: It is fake.
It actually could work as a Mixed attacker if the Speed was good. It just cannot really function with below 70 Speed and mediocre attacking stats as an offensive mon. It won't function very well defensively either since we all saw what happened to both Gourgeist and Trevenant.Maybe GameFreak just isn't as Spike-oriented as you are? I can understand an aversion to making everything a physical or special specialist, though; could easily get boring from the artist's point of view. Are specialists the ONLY thing that can do well in competition, Pokemon or otherwise? I've yet to see causal evidence of that. (Empirical evidence? I don't see how that can get a probability to 0 or 1...)
I have no issues with mixed attackers. Actually, if with good stats, they can be difficult to deal with due to being more unpredictable. Take for example Mega Diancie and Infernape from the old generations.
Besides, we don't even know the Pokémon's movepools, so we can't say for sure how well they will perform. Heck, as far as we know, Decidueye could obtain a pseudo-Shift Gear, Agility or something to compensate for its low Speed.
However, while people complain about the slow owl, I'm actually happy that Incineroar may actually become a speedy powerhouse.
yep, still just as acreepy as the pokedex thumbnail implied.Full Model for Shiinotic (Morelull's evo):
*whistles* Yeah, damn, that's...I mean, it's slow as fuck but still.I did some rough calculations comparing normal form to school form assuming 31 IV 0 EV and neutral nature and I got: 0 HP/+133 Atk/+109 Def/+103 SpA/+110 SpD/-10 Spe for about +445 BST. I like it and its creepy cuteness :)yep, still just as acreepy as the pokedex thumbnail implied.
It's nice that they just put the male & female on the same listing, I can't remember if they did that in gen 6. Sure was annoying in gen 4 & 5 though
Not if he isn't even going to get a chance to use it.Ok, Just a quick reminder about the no competitive talk here, alright? Even with stats of the pokemon themselves, we can't tell where any pokemon will end up, especially in a meta where any pokemon could be carrying a secret nuke button. Seriously, You're telling me that someone isn't going to go sniping someone with a 180 power ghost STAB move... >.>
Spirit Shackle wasn't even an exceptional move. It's better than mean look for sure, but some people were acting as though it was basically shadow tag.
