Grass/Ice=fail. Grass/Flying is slightly better. Also, take note that Sky Forme Shaymin is using Seed Flare in that Empoleon battle. Standard Shaymin learns Seed Flare at lvl 100. If that's from the encounter battle then Sky Forme Shaymin clearly has a different movepool since you wouldn't encounter her at lvl 100.

I think I just agree with whomever it was that mentioned it looked like Underdog. xD

Its face kinda reminds me of Tartakovsky's character art style specifically and thus reminds me of Monkey from Dexter's Lab, who would get Brave Bird if he were a Pokemon. >.>

Yeah, but puzzle rooms in the shape of the pokes right above the picture and with overworld sprites that look kinda like pokemon -_-

The deoxys forms are listed as 'formes' in my official emerald strategy guide, so I am assuming everyone is going from that?
Adding to this, so do the D/P and Mystery Dungeon guides, yet in the latter, when Deoxys levels up, it says "I leveled up! Witness the power of the (whatever) form!"

If you ask me, if they're gonna call them "formes" they should make sure they do so in the games too. Or that guide writers shouldn't make up their own spelling for things.

More on-topic, I'm still confused since the old info went on about "Another Form" Shaymin yet here we are with Sky Shaymin.

I find it amusing that the Regis are in reverse this time. Instead of needing the three to awaken the big one, you need Regicrap to get at the three lesser (yet better) ones. I'm still wondering about Floating Fail (Sky Regigigas).

SKYREGIFAIL used Roost!
FATASS McFATASS trait made it fail!
SKYREGIFAIL smashes into the opponent!
It's a One-Hit-KO!
SKYREGIFAIL regained 50% health!
SKYREGIFAIL fainted.

Are the guides published in the UK by any chance?

There had better be something awesome there in Platinum. I was starting to think the creators put the doors there just to fuck with us.

hey the girl player char accually looks like she's dressing for the weather now no more running around in a blizzard with a sleeveless shirt and a mini skirt

"Another Forme" refers to the "normal" Giratina, specifically. Pay attention, for crying out loud. Giratina's new limbless form is referred to as its "Origin Forme."

As for Shaymin, it's "Land Forme" and "Sky Forme."

Well, it does show Regigigas fighting Regirock... sweet. I love me some Regis.

Here's hoping they alter Regigigas in some manner to make it better. Giving it Recover would be a spectacular start...

Grass/Flying? Ugh. Here's hoping that the old Shaymin's movepool gets updated. It's much better looking, and pure grass is better than Grass/flying, especially in the garchomp generation.

First post:
Several new pokemon 'forms' exist in the game: Giratina's 'Origin Form', Regigigas' 'Sky Form', Shaymin's 'Another Form'
I AM paying attention.

SKYREGIFAIL fainted.

lol. Although that would probably be an improvement, since it IS managing a kill here.

Nope, America. Yet they're here in Australia, and got here pretty soon after we got the games.

Look at the battleground, it's not a wild Shaymin.

I couldn't make out the blob that Regigigas was fighting in the corner. Forgive me for not instantly recognizing those 8 pixels as one of the Regis.

Wow,Torn World looks wicked,I don't really like the 'new' Shaymin but at least the spirte is cute. Also the picture where Empoleon battles 'Skymin' appears to be a wifi battle.

I didn't expect that Platinum gonna be special at all. But those pictures look very prosiming! It's fun to get "new" competitive pokemons. Torn World, Castle and all those new places look very intresting. I'd wish we get new Move Tutors and catchable Regis with Recover.

I like Shaymin Sky Form ingame look and I hope that it is usable in metagame.

So they're going to make the Pokémon with new forms behave like Deoxys in FR/LG. That's scratches the patch theory.

Torn world looks awesome, Gamefreak making an effort on the graphical side? Nice!

I hope torn world is not a 1 time visit. Hatching things there seems wicked cool.

Hmmmm well here is to the regi's being catchable.

I guess back to sr'ing for a shaymin with a good HP.

Eugh. I do not like the idea of the torn world. Its not a mario/zelda game. For some reason Im thinking the Regis migrate from Hoenn to guard Regigigas or something.

New Shaymin form has grown on me, looks awesome actually.

And the pic 'Dawn entering a castle', battle frontier-esque yes?
