SPOILERS! Pokemon Legends: Arceus *Leak Thread*

Looking at the Status Moves, I notised two things. One, Poison Powder is a Grass Move now. (ninja'd on) Two, I had a feeling about this from the moment I saw the way battles work, but pacifism didn't exsist in the past so I'll have to get around to reading The Art of War and adapt to the times with uncontrolled bloodlust. I will Kill Everything! HAHAHAHA! Sorry, went a bit crazy. If anyone asks, I never played this game or even heard of it.

I'm wondering if H-Electrode gets any power moves. Will it give it a competetive place with its speed?

There's still a chance, albeit a small one: with overall PP going down, forcing opponents to Struggle might be capable of getting results.

If I do end up getting this game, there is a decent chance I'm restricting myself to 60 power or less moves (my casual playthroughs of gen 7 were also 'spite runs' based on how the mon selection carried itself). I like my passive damage as much as anyone, but I'm not going to give that up just because it also happens to do chip damage. Same as if I tried this with a main game, I wouldn't be discarding Wrap.

Next month in Japan there'll be a Piplup distribution event for both BDSP and PLA.

Piplup in BDSP will have: Hydro Pump / Pluck / Work Up / Attract
Piplup in PLA will have: Bubble / Baby-Doll Eyes / ROOST/ Double-Edge

Game Freak listened
its wild that in a game with such a reduced move list we can still get excited for new movelearns

let's pray it's not event only :x

On the topic of moves with low power, I noticed that Pin Missile has its power increased up to 40. Considering it's the only returning move that was multi-hit and that a power range of 80-200 (average 124) seems excessive, I imagine it's been reworked. Maybe it only does more than 2 hits if in Strong Style?

Checking the txt files Ursaring evolves into Ursaluna thanks to the "Peat Blocks" item
"A block of muddy material that can be used as fuel for burning when it is dried. It’s loved by a certain Pokémon"

And Scyther in Kleavor thanks to "Black Augurites"
"A glassy black stone that produces a sharp cutting edge when split. It’s loved by a certain Pokémon".

So from the 9th gen I think the items will simply return.

What about Wyrdeer? It is the only other normal Cross-gen evolution introduced in the game.

Also, because Hisuian Lilligant, Braviary, and the starters works similarly to Alolan Raichu/Exeggutor/Marowak and Galarian Weezing/Mr. Mime in that they evolve from the original versions of their pre-evolutions, I do hope that transfers are two-way because it would be pretty nice to evolve Petilil/Rufflet/Rowlet/Dartrix/Cyndaquil/Quilava/Oshawott/Dewott from prior gens into their Hisuian forms in the same manor as Pichu/Pikachu/Exeggcute/Cubone in Alola and Koffing/Mime Jr. in Galar.

The whole raw text dumps are pretty interesting.
"Rain
Damage dealt by Fire-type moves is reduced."
It seems rain was simplified along with sun, now just reducing Fire damage and probably being just environmental.

All the move descriptions are under wazainfo for anyone interested in checking out changes. It seems like they just took SWSH's move descriptions but didn't bother telling people that "you can't use this move" for newly unusable moves this time.

We’re finally playing a real Shin Megami Tensei game!
Status may be temporary as well based on anecdotes and the usage of the TurnMin/TurnMax columns that were usually used for confusion, sleep, and other temporary effects. Speaking of which I think confusion probably isn't a thing in this game, or rather everything that inflicts it was removed or changed like Water Pulse.

Did you find something for how to evolve Stantler?

Can't wait for these to be trade evolution items in gen 9 and then i die

I am glad what seem to be normal evolutions are back.....but only partially. Just makes the reigonal evolutions bug me all the more...

I believe it was Hisui’s swampy terrain that gave Ursaluna its burly physique and newfound capacity to manipulate peat at will.
So it lives in swamps, and the "mud" on its back and head is actually peat? That's... pretty interesting. Peat is just partially decayed plant material, so it seems to draw further connection between Ground and Grass types, despite the scarcity of Pokemon of that type combination. Kind of played with before with Rototiller and the like, but still. This is an itch I want them to keep scratching.

So I feel like H-Typhlosion could still be really good. Infernal Parade does seem really good. It feels like a far better Hex.

Blacephalon is as close to as perfect as this typing gets without being broken. I don't even think Hiphlosion it's as good as Chandelure unless it gets Fighting coverage.

Falling below 100 Speed hurts everything it wants to do and there are a ton of great Dark mons in the lower tiers (which will only grow in number b/c Enamorus) not to mention all the bulky Waters. Thing can't remotely sniff Hydreigon and 119 SpA isn't strong enough for it to be a serious threat with CM or wallbreaking sets either. Should be a great playthrough option though.

In all fairness, Sword and Shield introduced the ability to pass egg moves from parent-to-parent, so unless that gets removed, I don't think it'll matter if it's event-only unless you want a shiny Roost Piplup.
I don't think Roost is an egg move for Piplup anymore, unless I forgot something. So you can't do that.

Gf has burned me before. Trying to not huff on hopium
I mean this isn't memes it's just how transfers work

Is Piplup in the game? Is Roost in the game? Does the game allow Home transfers? Congratulations, Roost Piplup will work.
