The site is still going to update later today with stuff, even if it turns out to be the same old stuff, its still the Pokemon Bk/W site going fully online.

Sounds like a reboot.
But as long as you can trade over the old Pokemon from DPP, I don't care if they don't appear in the wild.
Unfortunately, we'll probably still be assaulted by Zubat, Tentacool, and Geodude.

EDIT: The game developers always say its going to be "new and fresh" but I guarantee you it will be the same old pokemon. It's been this way for every nintendo game ever.
 
lol. Walmart is getting around!

I don't think it would be so bad if the special edition version was on the 3dsi. It would make it special, and would be able to be upgraded past the original BW.

Agreed all around. The names aren't clever or good, and the designs look redundant, especially Beopup and Werehide, given that we have Zorua and Zoroark now. Oddly, some of the others are too similar to existing Pokémon (or, you know, ones that existed when it was created). Floby and the entire Herovore family.

There are 4 of the fake Pokemon that all look like Torterra, even one bigger than Torterra with "wings".

As strange as it may sound: I would love to play back in the original RB format. I was hoping that there would make an item that lets you change the view, and lets you turn it on/off.
 
The nostalgia would be awesome. However, it might turn off the 8-year-olds (Nintendo's target audience), who would probably say, "Where's my 3D and loads of color?!?!? Is this a joke?!?!? I'm never buying Pokemon again!!!!"

So, while it would be awesome, RB style wouldn't make it in, I think.

I meant an item that activated it, like the GB Sound in HG/SS. After you beat the game, Prof. Oak or Lance (someone important from R/B/Y) gives it to you. Maybe even one of GF's staff, like how you got GB Sound in the HG/SS.

lol. Maybe when a Pokemon evolves, it would show the old animation when the item is turned on, like the GB Sound played the old music when a Poke evolved. Make it so it only works on the Gen 1 Pokemon.
 
Sounds like a lot of work, considering they'd pretty much have to do the whole thing over again graphically, pokemon included.

It probably would. I'm just saying it would be pretty awesome to see. Keep in mind: They said there will be stuff for older players....

And probably not for battles, because all the new Pokemon, but mainly the over world and whenever a Generation 1 Pokemon evolves into a generation 1 Pokemon.

Since it's around 9:30 or so AM in Tokyo, we probably won't get anything till tomorrow (or Like, 5 in the morning).
