you capture them inside your game, so you probably will be able to do that.
There are already brand new abilities.
Vaporeon can take on DD Gyarados so I don't think its low Def will be a problem. Rain teams usually have atleast one bulky Rain supporter so Vaporeon could fit in there just as easily as something like Bronzong.
Flareon is sad after 10 posts discussing Eeveelutions and no mention of it.

yeah but, are we gonna be able to RNG AT ALL. GF is making pokemon more complicate as new games come out
We had like a 4 page discussion on it when the new Eeveelution abilities were revealed, so I don't think it minds much..
they have said that they consider it cheating so its likely they will make a more complex RNG/use random noise from some receiver on the DS

Well, to be on the serious side (and I think this was discussed a while back), I think we need a better physical fire attack. Flare Blitz's recoil is horrible considering SR takes 25% right of the bat for most fire-types.
Now that I think about it, we also need a better physical ghost move, though only Duskinor and Spiritomb would benefit.
I agree with this. Stealth Rock currently wrecks most of the Fire types. Perhaps giving Flame Wheel an added Rapid Spin-like ability? In order to balance Rapid Spin, perhaps make it stronger or give it a chance to flinch or confuse?
Flareon needs moves, not abilities. Also, let's not rule out the possibility that DW abilities could include some of the new ones - if there is a handy new Fire-based ability then it could get one. But really, besides Flash Fire what is there? The eeveelutions seem to be based on "becoming" their respective element, and that's covered - flame Body's a good bet, I suppose.
As for Umbreon or Espeon, which are slightly different, would they get separate abilities or the same alternate one, as with Synchronise?
And I only just realised how game changing it could be to finally open up the Starters to new abilities. The question there is does each pokemon get an individual ability or will they just go with "Blaze becomes this" and etc.

A Fire-type Motor Drive might be great for Flareon. Magmortar wants it too. Flareon's Speed is quite a problem, maybe a Fire-type Motor Drive would mitigate it to some extent.
Being a fire type still would be a major question mark for flareon to get more use, arcanine still would be a better option unless he get a new ability that set him appart from him.
Maybe the reason we dont know the rest of the eevee evolution abilities is that they are new!!!! Personally I just want jolteon and swampert to get new or at least better abilities than the ones they have now, and that does not include jolteon getting spark, lighting rod, or motor drive.
Well, that's why I suggested a Fire-type Motor Drive-- a new ability to differentiate him from Arcanine. I don't know how fast it would be with a Motor Drive-style boost, though. If it's faster than Arcanine and the extra speed let's it do something Arcanine can't, then that would be a reason to use it over Arcanine.
Gen 5 introduced a fire-type move that increases one's speed (Nitro Charge), and I can safely assume that Flareon will learn it somehow. If it doesn't, then a Fire-type Motor Drive would be useful; otherwise, I think Flareon would appreciate a "Fire Absorb" ability more. Just my 2 cents.

But then Zekroms ability would have to be identical to Motor Drive.
I personally think its along the line of Speed Boost where the power of Resh's Fire moves grow a teeny bit greater every turn it's in battle.
I know, I know. Obviously TerraVoltage isn't going to be motor drive. I was just saying, if I was making a fire type motor drive, I'd name it turbo blaze.

Honestly, I'd give each Pressure legendaey a differernt ability. Mewtwo would dominate Red/Blue style if it had something like Tinted Lens.

He meant to switch Groudon into Zekrom's electric attacks, while doing the same with heatran @ Reshiram's fire ones.
