Let me confirm that Mega-Evolution has a higher priority than extremespeed from lucario.

The pokemon league champion also has a mega gardevoir and i wanted to try what happens if we both activate Mega the first turn (she will always go for mega).

I selected mega extremespeed and i couldnt attack until Gardevoir transformed to mega Gardevoir.

I like that they did that to the 95 moves given the 120 move decrease, now it seems less pointless to risk the accuracy for power.

However once again gamefreak strikes for Fairy types, who get the 95 BP moonblast. It's really annoying how much they've given fairy types but I've held my tongue for most of it.
 
So do I have this Gourgeist info down right? The bigger the size is, the higher the HP and attack but the lower the speed? At first I was underwhelmed by its sub par defensive spread, but a little more HP could make it usable... somewhere... for something.

other than good typing and moon blast i fail to see all this great stuff fairy types have gotten tbh

It's the first new type in 14 years, they had a lot of ground to make up if they wanted Fairy to be usable at all

That would depend incredibly heavily on if it's remotely the same thing.
It probably is not!
 
The awesomeness of the Fairy typing is offset by most of them not seeming very good. What fairies seem promising in OU? Cresselia. Klefki. Maybe Gardevoir and Mawile. Maybe Azumarill.

The fairies that we know of that need it, have it. And it exists. IDC if it's a signature move, what it represents bothers me.

Is Cress confirmed Psychic/Fairy?
 
Oh yes forgot Togekiss. Still, I'm highly interested in what the dynamic will be between fairies and dragons. An immunity is just so huge. Clefable vs Garchomp using Outrage. All Clefable has to do is carry Ice Beam. Bam.

I would also find it very curious if Cresselia isn't at least Psychic/Fairy.
 
Would really like to see what happens if someone uses a move like Thrash on a ghost to see if they changed the mechanic of multi-turn moves on a Pokemon with immunity. I'd love to see Dragons trapped into Outrage if you switch into a Fairy.
 
I imagine it would be like using it against Protect, or Shedinja; Outrage is cancelled and the user gets confused (and can switch, attack, w/e)

Can anyone who has the game and has beaten the Elite Four find out how to trigger this conversation with Sycamore? The power he's talking about may be the key to finding more Mega Stones like that Medichamite on the last page.
 
Protean sounds like an interesting name for an ability. In Dungeons and Dragons, Protean creatures are pretty much the embodiment of chaos, to the point where they have no definite shape and are pretty much impossible to immobilize. Their biology is so bizarre to the point of IGNORING CRITICAL HITS 50% of the time.
