They said they focus/have more [x] stat, but obviously they would prance about the lowered stats.

That said, I simply cannot believe we now have HANDHELD-exclusive legendaries. The 3DS has just moved ten positions or so in my priorities list. Fuck.

It's probably redistributing stat totals. For instance, Thundorus & Landorus will likely be a fair bit slower and frailer, just based on Tornadus getting the defenses & speed.

Straight power boosts aren't GF's "thing" when it comes to form changes. If one goes up, another goes down.
 
Hmm, is it me, or does Bianca have glasses, while Cheren takes off his specs.
They certainly look a bit different.
Anyway, I'll be excited as soon as the games are released.
Only worries are if there will be some major change in the RNG processes (hopefully not), or if getting those winged roamer formes does require us to use a 3DS...

I agree. We may now have a pure flying type (Actually resists fighting) with great defenses and speed, coupled with priority moves like taunt and toxic.

Sounds good to me.

If it can only get Roost...
 
By the way, apparently the scans don't list the ability. The species name, the typing, measurements, etc but no ability.
They are so needlessly stingy about those things

Agreed. Also, I think it's sort of obvious that if Roost returns in TM or move tutor form this guy is definitely going to get it. Priority Roost would be awesome. The power creep will always grab immediate attention, though...
 
In less metagamey news, Cheren's definitely the first gym leader and is the holder of the Basic Badge (ie: Lenora's badge)
Homika is the second leader, and they don't show the rest of the badges

Seems a little weird that Cheren is fighting you with a Patrat this time around. That and the fact he's the normal type gym leader.

Wasn't his only normal type Unfezant?

Well he's in the very first town and probably owns/heads the school in town. He probably uses normal typings for his "students" maybe?
Normal types are a nice early-game type, at least.

If tornadus gets roost, when he uses it, what would his typing be?
 
If only there will be new tutor moves/TMs or at least move tutors for the previous TMs like Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, and SR for all ye competitive battlers.

BTW, does the White Kyurem forme learn Flamethrower? If it can't, then I'll just opt for HP Fire in my BW games.

iirc, I think they removed the ???-type from the series and didn't include it in the coding of BW. Still, the thought of a pure-flying type using roost is pretty funny.

Tornadus would become pure-Normal. And seriously, it's a fucking griffin now. I doubt it won't learn Roost. Unless, of course, they change TM51 to something else.
 
Is there a specific release date for Japan yet? June is less than a month away...

Also, has it been confirmed that these games will be region-locked on the DSi?
 
Man, those formes look som dope. Especially Landorus.

And luckily for me, I already have a 3DS.

No, but Keldeo is released of the 23rd, and there is one site who put the games release on the same date. Though this has not been confirmed. But probably late june.

And yes, I believe they are region locked.
