I'd have a lot more time for PETA if they didn't insist on pushing the animal rights agenda by producing violent, sexualised images.. of women
because, you know, raping and killing a woman is definitely on par with wearing leather shoes
Where do they promote rape and killing women? I do know that the Lettuce Ladies are provocative, but I haven't seen any reports of PETA supporting rape of women, killing of women, or even violence against women.
Not trying to start an argument, I'm just being honestly curious.
Sally is a Sea Kitten with an attitude! While all the other Sea Kittens are washing themselves or chasing balls of yarn, Sally is busy swimming upstream to see where life will take here next.
Unfortunately, years of watching her friends and family being hooked through the mouth and dragged into harsh, alien world above have driven her mad with grief.
Bitter and insane, she spends her days plotting revenge aainst the Land Kittens who live such happy lives in comfortable homes, free from terror of being eaten.
Some sea kittens tend well-kept gardens. They encourage the growth of tasty algae and weed out the types that they don't like. It is particularly tragic when people eat these sea kittens, as their precious little gardens become wild and overgrown in their absence.
they regularly use images of naked women, including those who look like they've died very violently. The images are always sexualised; there's always makeup, jewellery, provocative posing.

its sadder that women cant choose to do something on their own will without some uppity feminist telling them its wrong.
Would this make real lions land sharks?Since fish are now called sea kittens, cats are now land fish. Which means that sharks will be sea lions. Which is a problem because there already are sea lions.
So what PETA's saying in general is that we shouldn't eat meat, but rather eat plants, which are also living things? I hope they don't get any ideas from what I just said, since I know they're probably going to have a petition about not eating salads since they're made of plants, and they have feelings too.
What'll they call them, plant kittens?
They come up with pretty funny names for fast food joints that serve meat, though.
That's because they didn't do it right.
Also I'd just like to point out that you're using vegetarian and vegan interchangeably, please stop showing your ignorance by doing so.
If you knew anything about this whatsoever you'd know that there are 8 essential amino acids (others can be created by the body) for humans, the US Food and Drug Administration considers Soy to provide these as well as some other plants including Buckwheat, and Hemp seed.
Your 6 months of nutritional study doesn't impress me, I'm pretty sure the US Food and Drug Administration knows a little more about nutrition than you do.
Considering how many fruits they have to kill in slaughterhouses to make fruit salads and how much rice they have to decapitate to make that rice at the Chinese restaurants, I'm sure that PETA's probably going to do something with people being sliced into a bunch of pieces and placed in a salad bowl saying, "Plants have feelings too" someday.Uh, you do realize it's a pretty big differents between animals and plants? O_o This is not pokémon were poor Bulbasaurs has feelings to... People need to realize that it's not hypocrisy to care about animals right but not care about plants rights.
Lol, yes I have to agree with you there.its sadder that women cant choose to do something on their own will without some uppity feminist telling them its wrong.
also, lol sea kittens.
LOl, I wait for that day.If PETA really cared they would try to get rid of Goldfish in bowls first since death in a fish bowl is much worse then the quick death the fish get when they are caught to be eaten.
Yes I know, and I wish it would be over here too. I often use that fact at work when I will refuse to sell a goldfish to a small bowl.fish bowls are illegal in Rome.
Yes but bettas can live in that amount of water and since, well they cant exactly be placed in the same tank together what is the best way to house them, yes the cups could be a little bigger though (petsmart has them in smaller containers and Petco keeps them in the largest containers. Bettas are naturally designed to live in those conditions, bettas have a special organ that allows them to breath air from the surface, so as long as their cup is cleaned it is a suitable temporary home for them, never permanent. A cup for a betta is a lot more humane then a bowl for a goldfish.actually, the thing that really bugs me is when you go into a store and they have betas in those tiny little cups.
its sad
