Roaring Moon and Leafeon form a devastating Sun core, with Protosynthesis Attack Roaring Moon OHKOing or 2HKOing the entire and Leafeon outspeeding everything. Roaring Moon is especially dangerous as Pyro Ball in Sun hits with a whopping 526 base power (including STAB and Attack modifiers like CB and Protosynthesis), limiting Pyro Ball switch-ins to immunities (Coalossal and Heatran) or hyperfat resists like Dragon Regirock and Water/Flying Eviolite Rhydon. However, Roaring Moon's Headlong Rush and coverage remove these option entirely. Leafeon not only enables Roaring Moon by not limiting it to Proto Speed but functions as a perfect cleanup partner, with its moves after Swords Dance threatening to OHKO or just outright do OHKO up to 4 times over.

I've been a believer in HO lead Espeon since I was new to OM Mashups, so I thought it would be fitting to submit it for the CCAT. Magic Bounce stops it from being taunted and can stop opposing Sticky Web and Spikes setters. Sticky Web is here for obvious reasons. I chose Stone Axe over Stealth Rock because other people will (hopefully) be using this core, so my horrible luck with 90% accurate moves shouldn't matter. Memento is to block Mortal Spin and give a safe switch to an ally, allowing it to set up easier. Moongeist Beam is so it isn't passive and gives it an immunity to Rapid Spin (which is uncommon but whatever).

HOgerpon is a mon that appreciates Sticky Web a lot, as it lets it outspeed lots of other mons while still being able to run Swords Dance over Dragon Dance/Tidy Up to wallbreak better. The reason I chose Electric/Fairy is because the most common mon that is immune to Sticky Web and outspeeds Oger is Water/Flying Zeraora, and Ogerpon can always live a Life Orb Steam Eruption after Stealth Rock and OHKO back with Plasma Fists even if it gets burned. +2 Magical Torque OHKOs Dark/Ghost Regirock after Stealth Rock, and Headlong Rush is mainly to hit stuff like Electric/Poison Cresselia.

P.S. It would be funny if the next person submits a Sylveon core so we have 3 Eeveelutions in a row

Scarf Tapu Lele and Dragapult are 2 of the 3 fastest mons you’re likely to see in a Camove game. Tapu Lele is a very static mon, using Psystrike and Expanding Force to do enough damage to offensive mons to 2HKO all non resists. Switcheroo is helpful against more defensive teams, which Lele struggles against. Lele’s most common answers are Ghost/Dark Blissey and Regirock, or Dark/Poison Glowking. You really can’t hit all of them, so I chose Moonblast for its ability to at least catch some switches to a Dark/Ghost

Dragapult is very good against many defensive and offensive teams. I did not list all the variations it could run, because there are just too many. I’m a big fan of Gigaton Hammer Steelium Z, because it allows you to use your steel STAB for 3 turns in a row if you need to. Swords Dance and Clear Body allow Pult to boost freely without worrying about Strength Sap, as well as not caring about Sticky Webs and switching into Parting Shot. Lele’s Psychic Terrain also lets Dragapult stay safe from strong priority mons like Mega Scizor and Roserade, while Bulu’s most common variations can’t hit this Dragapult for even effective damage. Dragapult’s Strength Sap is deceptively useful, allowing it to stay healthy in a longer game.

Anyways, Alo sets the field for zam to come in, set up, and sweep, pretty simple. These two do struggle into dd/tidy up sweepers (or dragapult in general ig) as well as most variants of glowking/coalossal so keep that in mind

Very potent and strong mon in Camove, and is one of the fastest mons in the tier. It mainly abuses the Nasty Plot+Oblivion Wing combo, and Steam Eruption is just to bait people who don't know what they're doing to click an Electric move. You could go Tachyon, but I personally prefer Steam Eruption. Strength Sap is just for recovery.

Oh hey it's an S tier mon that everyone loves. This is just the standard RegenVest Glowking that everybody knows about, and is used to check many special attackers in the tier. Poison/Dragon is a common type for Glowking, but I personally prefer Poison/Dark because IMO provides a better defensive type for it, and Dark makes it immune to Psystrike which many special attackers might run to try to beat Glowking. Mainly I would go Fiery Wrath, but depending on the rest of the team, Knock might be good support.

my core submission. lunar dance and mirror coat are both moves that i’ve never seen clicked in any game of camove, but i believe they both have deceptively high potential. after recently suffering a devastating loss against mirror coat sturdy archaludon and healing wish jirachi in a pivotal monotype tournament game, i can testify that it’s a pretty scary thing to face if you’re unprepared.

regirock is the most viable pokemon with the sturdy ability, as it is one of the most viable pokemon in the tier already. however, regirock is dumb and ugly and boring and i hate seeing its stupid face. the much more based and chiseled table, a long-outclassed physical wall, regains its icy throne in this scenario. its lower special defense works to its advantage, and greatly increases the damage dealt by stray mirror coats. its higher attack of 117 (opposed to the rock’s 100) also proves advantageous, providing a much more respectable gigaton hammer, and its slightly higher defense gives it favorable rolls in some common calcs against mega scizor. avalugg’s steel type also grants it a resistance to tachyon cutter, one of the few moves thay bypasses sturdy.

on the other side of the core, we have scarf lunar dance. lunar dance can replenish the table’s sturdy, allowing it to nuke again after it has already done so. scarf just makes it easier to get off, and also provides valuable support for avalugg, being trick. steel/flying to allow for many safe switchins, and espeon because magic bounce is cool and also because splodge. there are many other options for a scarfer, though.

these two mons synergize with each other heavily, and the building possibilities are vast. unlike sun, which has very little flexibility in team structure, this core can be paired with many teammates to provide successful results, and is composed of two unique and fun mons.

Roserade is a rlly underrated beast in camove, LO tachyon cutter at +2 hits ridiculously hard, busting past Slowking and Blissey with brute force. Strong prio in shuriken (if it hits all!) make it even more annoying to deal with as its pretty hard to revenge kill as well. Pult works well with it as it provides extra speed control and is a good cleaner; they also have shared checks in Fat steel types, which roserade can overwhelm for pult to clean up later, or vice versa. This dragapult typing was chosen specifically because it shares checks with roserade, which they can both overwhelm throughout a game.

A standard physically defensive core.
Great Tusk is obviously generic. Earthquake is important for hitting pesky non-Levitate Gholdengos and Pecharunts and Cinderace, and Body Press is important for threatening Roaring Moon, Ogerpon-Cornerstone, Great Tusk, Skarmory, Samurott-Hisui, yada yada.
Alomomola, however, is different. Rather than using Deoxys-Defense or Regice or Regirock, I use Houndstone to ensure that Alomomola can basically tank any physical hit and constantly threaten burns on opposing Pokemon. Alomomola having Protect is also important because it can use Protect to waste Draco Meteor PP from Latios and Raging Bolt.

Tusk pressures teams through moldy letting you hit into levitate mons as well as fluffy corv. Although cinderace can also beat up most corvs, its main purpose is to clean up after tusk with a ruinous swords dance. Tusk isnt that fast so its evs could probably be better optimized to make it bulkier and still hit benchmarks

Strong defensive core with very strong offensive presence. Skarmory doubles as a pseudo-spin blocker, does 25% to cheeky U-Turn/Flip Turn mons, and the added power from Garchomp makes Brave Bird actually start to hurt things in earnest. Rough Skin gives it the ability to absorb Knock Off very well, giving it a chip punishment even after the Rocky Helm is gone. The synergy from Raging Bolt comes from being able to easily absorb any of the special electric/fire attacks that would be aimed at Skarmory, with Skarmory also typically being a good answer to things that switch into Raging Bolt.

A pretty mean offensive volt-turn core, H-Electrode threatens most grounds due to a high powered Chloroblast made stronger by Reun's Sp Atk gain + Life Orb and no drawback from anything thanks to Magic Guard, while still outspeeding 99.9% of the unboosted meta. Often attracts special walls like Blissey, Hisuian Goodra, Raging Bolt, and Roaring Moon which Slither Wing threatens perfectly given a free opportunity from Volt Switch and hits extremely hard, 2HKO'ing most walls or gaining momentum with a beefy U-Turn. Would probably fit on hazard stack very well.
