The ladder twist chosen by staff for the month of June is: Team Scavengers: Scavengers will be hosting a team competition each weekend this month! (Note that under our new system, our official twists will last for both cycles of a month before being replaced.)

As well, big congratulations for this past month: super_mii2 (smii) returning to Scavs driver, Celesteeal becoming driver for the first time, and Devoxys becoming our newest Room Mod!
 
Scavengers staff are extremely pleased to announce that our official ladders will now last for two-week cycles, twice per month!

We'll go by the following schedule:
The first ladder cycle of each month ends the evening (ET) of the 14th of each month. The second ladder cycle then begins, lasting until the evening (ET) of the last day of the month. (Exact times are announced in advance.) At that point the next month's first cycle begins.

Our twists and ladder nomination systems have also been tweaked.
Our official twists will still be introduced monthly, but they will now last for both cycles of a month before being replaced.
As for our ladder nominations, any non-auth user who averages a top 5 finish across two cycles in one month will receive a roomvoice nomination! This average will be based on overall placing, not overall finish. (Examples: 3rd and 7th place in june would qualify. 3rd and 8th would not. 3rd from the second cycle in June and 7th from the first cycle in July would also not qualify.)

Alongside these changes, we'll be moving to a new smogon thread. Make sure you hit the "Watch Thread" button there if you're still interested in being notified when hunts are reserved.
