SV OU Ogerpon Balance (asking for any improvements)

Pokepaste: https://pokepast.es/0c88106db8ad3814
Using the Ogerpon set from the Pokeaim video a couple days ago decided to switch it up some and put my own twist to it. I dont know the original person name from the video I forgot the name but shoutout him too. Im not super well versed on the meta and stuff I just play for fun so any tweak or improvements you guys can offer is helpful thank you

Ogerpon (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Defiant
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Encore
A good pivot mon that knocks off items for hazards stacking on this team. Im pretty sure in can be replaced by Meowscarada but encore isn't on it and I like defiant more than protean rn. Although lando-t doesn't give much issue to this team it's nice to still punish it. With tera it gets very useful speed boost and power boost to ivy cudgel for water type which this team does not have a great answer for. I cant find a Ogerpon gif

primarina.gif

Primarina @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Voice
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Draining Kiss
- Psychic Noise
- Substitute
At first I did not think this would put in that much work but I lowkey love this thing fr. Awesome setup sweeper and eats hits like crazy. Zamazenta answer, Lando-T answer, Cinderace, Walking Wake, Gouging Fire and to an extent Dragapult. I just switch it in on sum that eats a hit and threatens it they switch I sub and set up and its just dont die from there on. Always good to have a fairy type on team and doubles as a tank to eat a hit and switch

Ting-Lu @ Leftovers
Ability: Vessel of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Ruination
- Whirlwind
Part 1 of my defensive core for this team. pretty standard stuff if we being honest but works nonetheless. Dragapult and Raging Bolt are massive problems for this team so I just wanted sum that can eat a hit and threaten it out or some good damage. Also great phaser for those mons that wanna set up and get free rocks chip. doesn't take water moves thus the Primarina and rocks cuz its rocks

skarmory.gif

Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Roost
- Spikes
Part 2 of the defensive core. Skarm easily eats physical hits from major types I struggle with like grass and fighting. Basic stuff I wanted to put more hazard stacking and since I won't have hazard removal I'll just use the opponent to help. Kingambit answer since that thing is the scariest mon ive faced every time. Also helps with great tusk rilla and meow which can all do significant damage to my team. Pretty basic defensive core but synergy is amazing

dragapult.gif

Dragapult @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Draco Meteor
- Hex
- U-turn
My second favorite Pokemon ever and prolly my favorite competitive set in Pokemon idk why. People always seem caught unexpected by it. Favorite thing to do is to send it out vs a +2 Gambit and wisp it so everything else deals with it easier. Plug and play mon I debated over speed control with t-wave or weakening mons with burn. Ultimately decided burn because even with speed control the team isn't super fast other than this and Ogerpon. Nice Draco nuke to catch a weakened tusk trying to spin or some others threats to the team. Tandem of Hex with burn works well for free damage on whatever

Kingambit @ Leftovers
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Kowtow Cleave
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
Ill be honest didn't know what to put in this last slot I was deciding between gambit weavile and roaring moon. Just went gambit cuz it's easy to use. Not much thought behind it. Just a "save me" sorta Pokemon when I put myself in terrible situations. Thought about putting low kick for other gambit but I feel the rest of my team deals with it well, also dont know if I should change tera to flying instead but I think fairy works better

Some battles with the team prolly won't even need. Teams super basic but just any ideas of improvements for the team will be helpful thanks

Yo, I like this team a lot actually. I can see a strong structure with two defensive pokemon, two utility, and two offense.
My first thought is that you need some help with status. Opposing Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave, and Toxic spikes are going to be a major problem.

One option: trendy new ting-lu set
Ting-Lu @ Leftovers
Ability: Vessel of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Payback
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
This Ting-Lu trades Rocks and Whirlwind for Payback and Rest Talk, turning it into more of a classic special wall instead of a soaker/pivoter. This means it can take on things like Raging Bolt just as well as the original version while being stronger against things like boots Darkrai or Dragapult which can come in and out a few times and wear it down. It also allows for status absorbing with rest, which means a free switch against Pokemon like Moltres. You keep tera poison which in my opinion is your only real option against toxic spikes if you want your Primarina to live.

Another option: spdf Gliscor
Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 36 Def / 228 SpD
Tera Type: Water
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Toxic
Classic set, rocks over spikes since you have Skarm as well. I would consider another tera type here maybe since Kyurem is such a threat, but that is up to you.

Other changes:
:Skarmory: Tera Fighting Tera Water This would help a lot vs Gouging Fire in sun (or even outside of it) which your team otherwise has a little bit of a problem with.
:Kingambit: Tera Fairy Tera Fire This is a last ditch effort to avoid Wisp which I think you kind of need since things like Moltres do end up walling most of your team especially if they can get rid of Primarina somehow. Tera Fairy doesn't seem that useful since you aren't using Tera Blast anyway. Just try to weaken tusk or other ground types with your Water-Grass core.

Might have more thoughts later as I like the structure and will continue playing with it.
