[SET COMMENTS]
Hisuian Voltorb is one of the best pivots in Little Cup with its good offensive typing and great Speed stat, which makes it one of the fastest unboosted Pokemon in the metagame. Tera Blast is the most common fourth move, with Tera Blast Fire being able to threaten Foongus, Toedscool, and Pawniard, while Tera Blast Fairy hits Mienfoo super effectively. Thunder Wave allows Hisuian Voltorb to support slower wallbreakers like Mudbray or hinder setup sweepers like Swords Dance Pawniard. Finally, Taunt is another alternative to prevent setup sweepers from running away with a game, while also preventing recovery attempts from a Vullaby that has Terastallized to remove its Electric weakness. Tera Fire is most commonly used with Tera Blast to give Hisuian Voltorb super effective coverage on the Grass-types that resist both of its STAB types, and in a pinch, it can be used to gain a Fire resistance that helps with Choice Scarf Hisuian Growlithe. Tera Fairy hits Mienfoo harder with Tera Blast while granting Hisuian Voltorb a Fighting resistance and is more commonly used on sets with Thunder Wave or Taunt.
Hisuian Voltorb can fit on various teams but is most commonly found on VoltTurn cores that aim to bring in strong wallbreakers like Hisuian Growlithe. Mienfoo and Vullaby are common partners as their access to U-turn and Knock Off creates entry points for Hisuian Voltorb on defensive switch-ins like Mareanie and Mudbray. The biggest roadblock for Hisuian Voltorb is Foongus, as it resists both of its STAB types and has Regenerator to heal off any damage it takes, so teammates that can trap Foongus or pressure it with multiple offensive threats like Hisuian Growlithe and Gothita are the best for Hisuian Voltorb. If Foongus puts a Pokemon to sleep earlier in the battle with Spore, Stunky is a good switch-in, as it can threaten big damage to Foongus while taking minimal damage from Giga Drain and Sludge Bomb. Hisuian Voltorb is also a good switch-in to opposing Hisuian Voltorb if the opponent has already expended their Tera, resisting its Electric- and Grass-type STAB moves. Offensive Pokemon like Choice Scarf Hisuian Growlithe is a great option for revenge killing Hisuian Voltorb, so teammates that can take their hits well like Mareanie and Stunky are appreciated. Finally, Hisuian Voltorb is susceptible to priority moves like Sucker Punch from Pawniard and Stunky, so Dark-type checks like Mienfoo and Mudbray can pair well with it.
