[SET COMMENTS]

Ninetales offers the sun's blessing to its teammates and utility with Healing Wish and Encore. The chosen STAB move is a tradeoff between power and consistency; Flamethrower trades a slightly lower Base Power for consistency, making it the preferred option. Solar Beam deals with Water-type foes such as Urshifu-R, Swampert, and Hisuian Samurott. With Healing Wish, Ninetales allows safe entry to any sweeper on the field, while Encore punishes entry hazard setters and setup sweepers such as Zamazenta, Primarina, and Ceruledge.

Gouging Fire is a natural teammate to Ninetales thanks to Protosynthesis, which provides it with a pseudo-Choice Scarf, transforming its Choice Band set into a formidable wallbreaker that can OHKO most foes that are not Fire-resistant such as Gliscor, Landorus, and Galarian Moltres. After a boost, Ogerpon-H also benefits greatly from sun both offensively, with Ivy Cudgel dealing with bulky threats such as Iron Hands, Gliscor, and Mandibuzz, and defensively by reducing the damage from Water-type moves, which can turn Ogerpon-H into a potent wincon with its Grass-type STAB moves in the non-weather variants of the Water and Ground matchups. Other popular teammates include Swords Dance Ceruledge and Air Balloon Heatran, both of which bring valuable immunities to the team and can help in certain matchups such as Ground, Fighting, and Dragon, by targeting specific threats like Clodsire, Earthquake Hippowdon, Gouging Fire, and Zamazenta. Furthermore, Ceruledge, after a Swords Dance, takes out Iron Boulder with Shadow Sneak while Heatran handles Flutter Mane and Toxapex with Heavy Slam and Magma Storm, respectively, and can set Stealth Rock up. Volcarona also reaps quite a few benefits for both its offensive and defensive variants, taking less damage from Water-type moves and getting access to sun-boosted Morning Sun, which makes it possible for Volcarona to set up on Keldeo as well as Greninja in the Dark matchup. Lastly, Ninetales appreciates having Cinderace as a teammate to avoid unnecessary chip damage from hazards when setting up sun thanks to Court Change

As one of the only two Drought users allowed, Ninetales offers the sun's blessing to its teammates, acting as a supporter of the team throughout the match (maybe mentioning "how" it acts as a supporter to "which" team mates would be better, since the current line doesnt really answer why I'd use ninetales). Weather Ball as its STAB will heavily dent any non-resistant foe but comes with the risk of being useless if another weather inducer enters the battlefield. Flamethrower trades a slightly lower base power for consistency, making it the preferred option (This first move doesnt really need to be talked about, since this is just STAB, and Ninetales' spa isnt really getting it much kills. If you want to mention it anyway, compress this to a sentence). Solar Beam will be Ninetales sole coverage move aiming at dealsing with Water-types foes such as Keldeo, Urshifu-R, Swampert, Gastrodon and Hisuian Samurott. Last two slots set Ninetales apart of Torkoal by enhancing its supportive role. (unless ninetales or torkoal is outclassing each other, the comparison shouldnt be made) With Healing Wish Ninetales can fully heal another teammate, also allowing to safely put your desired sweeper on the field ("your"/second person isnt allowed, and you could mention which sweepers), while Encore will let you take a better control of the match (how? What should Ninetales encore?).

Any Fire-type Pokemon will more than welcome Ninetales as its partner. We will focus here on the most noteworthy partners (We isnt allowed btw, again). In that regard, Gouging Fire is a natural teammate to Ninetales, thanks to its Past ability Protosynthesis that provides it with a pseudo-Choice Scarf, transforming its Choice Band set into a formidable wallbreaker that can OHKO most of non-Fire-resistant foes such as Gliscor, Landorus, Galarian Moltres, Darkrai, Hisuian Goodra (too many, limit it to 3). Ogerpon-H also benefits greatly from the sun Ninetales bring with it both offensively and defensively, gaining a resistance to Water-type moves and a double STAB on its signature move Ivy Cudgel, turning it into a potent wincon in the Water-type matchup against non-Rain variants (double stab being mentioned as a potential wincon vs Water feels wrong, maybe you could separate those two thoughts (sun dispels rain/makes water moves technically not very effective so pon go brr, and also sun boost cudgel that heatran just gets OHKO'ed at +2 [just an example]). Other popular teammates options include Ceruledge and Air Balloon Heatran which bring valuable immunities to the team and can help in certain matchups such as Ground-, Fighting- and Dragon-types by targeting specific threats like Clodsire, Earthquake Hippowdon, Gouging Fire and Zamazenta (separate these two since they do radically different things. If you like, you can pair Cerul+Volc together, since they both setup and go brr, then mention what they do too). Volcarona does also reap quite a few benefits for both its offensive and defensive variants: getting a Water neutrality and a boosted Morning Sun for defensive purposes and a double STAB on its Fire-type moves for offensive purposes. Lastly, Ninetales appreciates having Cinderace as teammate to avoid unnecessary hazard chip when setting up the sun (mention Court Change, the move).

Ninetales offers the sun's blessing to its teammates with Drought, acting as a supporter of the team throughout the match by setting sun up (implied by the sun's blessing already) and utility in Healing Wish/and Encore when needed. The chosen STAB move is a tradeoff between power and consistency, Flamethrower trades a slightly lower base power for consistency, making it the preferred option. Solar Beam deals with Water-types foes such as Keldeo, Urshifu-R, Swampert, Gastrodon and Hisuian Samurott (removed some to reduce examples). With Healing Wish Ninetales can fully heal another teammate, also allowing to safely put any sweeper on the field, while Encore will give a better control of the match by punishing hazards setters and setup sweepers such as Zamazenta, Primarina, Azumarill and Ceruledge (remove 1).

Ogerpon-H also benefits greatly from the sun Ninetales bring with it both offensively, with a double STAB on its signature move Ivy Cudgel that makes it Swords Dance set a threat even to resistant foes such as Dragonite (dnite is a bit weird since it runs Play Rough, which OHKOes Dnite anyway), and defensively by gaining a resistance to Water-type moves which can turn it into a potent wincon in the Water-type (and Ground too?) matchup against non-Rain variants with its Grass-type STAB moves. Other popular teammates options include Swords Dance Ceruledge and Air Balloon Heatran which bring valuable immunities to the team and can help in certain matchups such as Ground-, Fighting- and Dragon-types by targeting specific threats like Clodsire, Earthquake Hippowdon, Gouging Fire and Zamazenta. More than immunity fillers however, they help the team distinctively by either providing another powerful wallbreaker to the team for Swords Dance Ceruledge or granting it a special wall (that checks Flutter Mane?) with the ability to trap through Magma Storm and set Stealth Rocks up. Volcarona does also reap quite a few benefits for both its offensive and defensive variants: getting a Water neutrality (this is a bit vague, can you give a water mon you otherwise cant setup on without sun?) and a boosted Morning Sun for defensive purposes and a double STAB on its Fire-type moves (dont need to mention, unless you nuke something like Alolan muk maybe?) for offensive purposes. Lastly, Ninetales appreciates having Cinderace as teammate to avoid unnecessary hazard chip when setting up the sun, thanks to Court Change swapping hazards and screens such as Light Screen and Reflectwalls.
