New Giratina form?

They are a bit pink.

Crystal Onix that was weak to fire and resisted water

Hmm... never saw that. Okay.

The midget ditto that made mini versions of pokemon

That wasn't strictly a different Pokemon. About as much so as a midget person is different from another person. Besides, how do you know that a Ditto you've just caught isn't a midget ditto? As Barboach, Shroomish, and Magikarp (I think those are the three) prove, it's fully possible for Pokemon to have different sizes. And it's not like you can check how large the transformed ditto is.

Giant tentacruels that shoot lasers

Wasn't that just mutated?

Pink butterfrees

Disputable. Likely an early version of a shiny. There are a bunch of people who say Ho-oh didn't look exactly like it does now when it showed up in Episode One.

Yes, the Ho-oh from epsiode 1 is pure gold, even the tail feathers, and the beak is sharp and curved, falcon like, compared to the slightly blunt and stubby Ho-oh beak of today. The wing/body proportions are also different.

Yeah. It had a huge resemblance with Moltres.

What, like the undead tapeworm dragon ghost alien zombie skeleton tapeworm caterpillar and shit thing Giratina II is, just bird-ier?

If this is a new form that will be included in a new game, it wouldn't be transferable back to D/P because the code for it doesn't exist in the existing games. That game has been hacked and torn apart and no one has mentioned this before, so it would clearly be exclusive to the title it came from.

And no, you couldn't have the new game download the new version into the memory of D/P. If that functionality existed, players could create their own pokemon, fake the necessary protocols to activate the download and royally screw with the game by putting anything they want into it. I don't think Nintendo is interested in that kind of chaos.

In any case, it looks pretty bizarre and hopefully it'll do something cool in the movies, if not appear in a later game.

What are you talking about? This would be just like Deoxys in Advance. It's simply that, for whatever hex code in the game that says "Giratina", DP will have one sprite and certain base stats and the third game will have another base stats and another sprites. Maybe different level up moves aswell.

But it's perfectly possibile for it to exist in the games. ._.

really shouldn't be that surprised at game freak, they did a lot of little hiding and sticking things in the back of the code, and they have to try to extend the life of the generation a little, adding a poke that's code changes over the course of the generation.

Gen 4 part three is still on its way, the theory of S/G remakes, Giratina could very well the poke that is meant to span this generation, cept, same as with deoxys, I think they are trying to do it a little differently. This also is kinda a hint, of what they want to do more in the next Gen (eventually) more variation in a single species. I mean, with wormadam, Arceus, Gastrodon, Deoxys, and now Giratina, they want to add that extra flavor of variation among a breed.

I just read this thread and i was thinking, since some ubers are getting nice additions why wont they make an item that will turn mewtwo into metal mew ( refer to the first movie). i mean an alter form of it with a new typing steel/psychic (resisting dark and dragons but weak to ho oh and groudon) for example . just a wishing thought. lol well who knows. in the movie it was ssaid that mewtwo armor amplifies his strengh and special abilities if i remember

There'd be no need for Metal Mew, it was basically Mewtwo donning Armor, which was supposed to be used to control his power, which failed.

Reminds me of specialized held items, like soul dew, thick club, ectera...
I don't thinks more specialized could hurt the game, Thick club and Soul Dew aside, the two orbs give a firm choice to the legends in DP. Should they use it, or leftovers/Specs/Bands/Life orbs instead of specialized dual typed silk scarves?

Or better yet, what if the Giratina changing form...IS the result of a held item? They have explored evolution with held items, but not temporary transformation.

Just a thought.
