My Pokemon Ranch: What do we know?

I've got a Flashcart for homebrew software and whatnot but I think I'll still drop a few bucks on this. I never thought I would say this until I started playing pokemon last year, but there is still some fun to be had in collecting things yourself.
 
I just sent in some of my Emerald PKMN, it seems as though the OT doesnt matter so long as it comes from the same cartridge.
 
well after changing the date in my Wii to store more pokemon faster, i changed the date back to today and nothing happened. It only says "your date was set back this might affect gameplay" after going through all my pokemon nothing appears to be affected.
 
I read about this on the school computers, and now I've downloaded. It seems a little on the "cute" side, and won't really provide much amusement I don't think. So just to clarify, there is no way to check stats etc. before transfer, correct (I only have Hayley's Pokémon right now, will be transferring all of mine later this evening). SRing for Mew is really going to be a pain regardless.
 
Aww, there so cute, my little regirock is just a little block walking around. To bad you can't play actual minigames with them, that would really extend the replay value.

I would laugh so hard if any kind of Mr. Resetti was included in any future Pokemon games; the bulk of this community would fall to its knees doing anything SR related.
 
I suppose this game does win me over on the fun factor, but probably would be more fun if I had a capture card to go with it. It's been fun recently seeing people on YouTube gather up all their Iggly-Jiggly-Wiggly-b/p/tuff together for a concert, or someone who didn't know how to SR on his Minun eggs.

Some of us have a lot of spitbacks. :/ And a mob of Omanytes is fun.

Side note: watching Regice run like heck away from a Charmander is very "lol"-inducing. Especially immediately before letting one ride on its head.

Important note: Pokemon CAN be organized in the "withdraw" menu.
 
Yeah, I'm starting to understand what it means to have spitbacks with these Meditite I'm breeding. >_>;

I'd like to see all flying things go in formation again too, I like that Magnezone can fly. ^_^;

Same with my shiny Magneton, in all its glory. And Mew. :D
 
I got MPR to work as among the first group I sent up included my diamond starter infernape, ruby starter blaziken, my first EV trained garchomp, dialga and even an arceus was brought up.
 
After reading this I'm now undecided on pokemon ranch. I'm not at the place where I need to have extra stroage. And the inability to SR for Mew is such a turnoff. For me I'd basically have to clone 1,000 pokemon and send them back and forth, delete game and start over if the Mew is crap. :/
 
Got my Mew. Naive with IVs of 20/16/12/20/4/22. Not great, but not that bad, I suppose.

Now preparing to see if the My Pokemon Ranch save game data can be deleted and a second Mew acquired. :)
 
Kinda sucks since I was hoping to store some of my Pokemon so I could restart my Pearl Version without having to trade them all one by one to another version, but I guess that won't be happening =(.
 
Second one acquired, Naughty with IVs of 26/14/8/14/22/10.

Anyways, successfully proved that you can erase the ranch save data and trade for Mew again.
 
haha that's amazing Gigafrost, good luck getting the Mew, I doubt I'll ever fill the Ranch with 1000 Pokemon.

I will, but I won't want to reset. Been meaning to put certain Pokemon in a safehouse for a while. Now, my mom happens to have a Wii as well, one I did a pink case mod on, so...
