Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

I'm trying to capture Sudowoodo on my new SS game, but I can't seem to get the right frame for some reason.

Seed: 9B1609A3
ID: 05647
SID: 41904

Shiny frame is 16, so when I hit my delay, I advance to frame 15 and talk to Sudowoodo as fast as I can. Encountered Sudowoodo, caught it, and the results I got are the stats from frame 17. So, after that I've tried to advance to frame 14 in stead. When I did that, I caught Sudowoodo, checked it stats, and found out I got the one from frame 15.. What am I doing wrong here?

frame advance by NPC so try again and make sure talk to sudowoodo as fast as you can

How do I find a PID for these spreads:
31/31/31/31/31/0 Brave
31/31/31/31/31/31 Joly and Adamant

Ive been using Pokerng so far and I cant find many Flawless spreads for alot of different Natures and i cant find flawless with 0 speed either in PokeRNG for brave :( If someone could tell me how to find them myself, that would also be greatly appreciated!! :D

Aren't you meant to advance to frame 16? That's what I did when catching my Ho-Oh.

Also, any help?

What I thought, but advancing to 16 gave me the same result as advancing to 15, which I already thought..

Edit: Found another Shiny frame, which is 28, and which I can get to. :)

Hello. I am having trouble with even/odd delays on my Pearl version. I've had troubles with this when I RNG Manipulated my ID & SID, and I thought it would just be something that would go away when I started the game. I have inserted cartridges in the bottom slot of the DS, which produce the opposite delay (or so I've heard). The delays still seem to be inconsistent, which can be quite annoying as they toggle between even and odd. I have not beaten the Elite Four and obtained the national dex, but I don't know if that affects the delays. If anyone can help me figure out what is going on with the delays, I would be grateful. Thank you.

EDIT: Answered by Expert Evan!

Hello again folks.

I'm RNGing Latios from the Pokemon Fan Club and I just hit my delay. I know I need to calibrate the starting frame and all (something I haven't done in 4th Gen). Can y'all tell me just a rough idea of what the starting frame is, when mashing A as fast as possible, so that I at least have a *chance* of hitting it first try, and so that I can do a certain number of advances to find the frame I'm on more easily? Thanks.

Thank you. I had considered that, but I wanted to try this first. Since I've already hit my seed once, I'll see if I can do it this way.

It's not really an issue of the starting frame. You start at frame 1. But once you walk outside, the NPCs will start advancing the frame. They usually advance only 7-11 frames, but that number isn't set. It varies with the frame.

So say your target frame is 20, and you advance to frame 13 and generate Latios, hoping that the NPCs advance by 7. Then you check Latios, and see that you hit frame 21. If you advance to frame 12 next time, the NPCs may not necessarily advance the frame by 8. It could be anywhere between 7-11.

So my advice is (be prepared to hit your seed multiple times) to advance to a frame 11 frames away from your target. Generate Latios and check the frame you hit by catching him(or by deducing his speed/HP during battle). If you got it, then that's great. If not, hit your seed again, and advance one more frame than you did the last time. If you go down to 7, and not even that works, then you may want to consider abusing at the E4.

At what point is Latios/Latias generated during the E4 challenge? As soon as the character begins the scene where he walks up to Lance? Or during the credits/while the game is saving?

I've already hit my seed 3 times and done the advances according to how far off I was, but I must not be mashing A consistently because even with the adjustments it's always off by a little bit. I hit it six too early, then two too late, then one too late... Is it much easier at the E4?

No, that was the ID/SID combo from when I got the game. Nothing has changed.

Then you cannot capture a quintflawless Shiny Pokémon on your game. If you want to capture shiny flawless Pokémon, you have to abuse your ID/SID combo.

Well you have to start your game over. So if your willing to do that, and are using an Emulator(I dunno how to do it on a retail cart) then I can tell you how :D VM me

EDIT: I also have a question guys, I have abused my TID and SID and I am infront of Rayquaza which I am going to RNG. When I try to find the frame, I put in the seed I got from PokeRNG for the spread, and make it Method K. I put a jolly synchronizer and put the IV and SID of the game and make it shiny only. Once I have done all of that, I click Generate but the spread isnt there. What am I doing wrong??

So, I want to do Sweet Scent in a Cave. I've found out that I have to use my Shiny Frame 56, but, to which frame do I have to advance?

Could anyone tell me when the roamer(s) are generated are generated when doing it via the Pokemon League, whether it matters if more than one have been KO'd and will be generated, and/or if there's anything more to it than Verify seed -> do frame advances -> fight Lance? Thanks.

Make sure you have 2 of the 3 roamers out there, and 1 KO'd. Then before you fight Lance, hit your delay and do the advancements with the radio.
