Considering all odds for the pachirisu's are slim and we are out of the running I would personally like to speak.
Its been a minute since I have done any form of team tour for monotype considering the last time to my knowledge I did one was for MWP of 2023. So to be picked out of nowhere for this farm league was a blessing. I put my name out there and had to go and prove that I was a knowledgeable opponent to not be underestimated. With the recent weeks leading up to this final one I have done just that.
I personally would like to thank Rinda & Fraolain for picking me up for this tournament. It was the best time I have ever had playing for you both and for the pachirisu's.
Trichotomy thank you so much for team prep and support during these weeks that have passed. You truly are monotypes top player.

I won't write a super long post or do individual shoutouts since LUSTRE did both and he pretty much covered all the bases. I just wanted to say thanks to everybody for this opportunity. Thanks sapphire for managing with me, thanks for carrying the old gen support because I'm pretty useless there, and thank you for picking up slack in areas I was pretty weak in as a whole. Thanks to my team for rocking with me until the end. I'm sorry our season wasn't the best but I hope you all had a good time and I know you will all find success at whatever tournaments you put your mind to. Thanks to whoever decides the managers for giving me a chance to manage, I had a fun time and I learned a lot. Maybe the balactic blorps will make an appearance some time in the future, but who knows. The glorps hereby endorse the driftveil dreamchasers in the playoffs, glhf @ all :)

Uhh. Hi? I guess I get to do this now? Feels weird.
Vespiquens are dead, we got hit by a Flamethrower and thats a big sad. It would of been incredibly nice to make the run all the way to grands and win this thing since our team had the talent and the resources but it just wasn't meant to be. We still did incredibly well, I think we ended up 3rd overall if I'm reading the spreadsheet right which is incredibly solid for overall. My personal tour ignoring the team aspect was incredibly well, 7-0 is a solid record even if it is farmers, especially because I got away with loading the same type effectively 4 weeks in a row (since the Memo sub counts right?) which is also funny that I got away with loading Fairy that many times and never got really punished for it. However, putting the team aspect back in and I wasn't the greatest, I didn't provide as much assistance in prep and teambuilding as I probably should of as I probably could of called out a few people's types or been a bit more helpful with teambuilding a few weeks to get us a few better wins, also I never played any real practice games which is certainly a yikes. These are things I'll differently have to improve on in the next team tour I participate in since I'm not sure I'll be able to repeat my miracle performance.
Anyway, onto thanking my team and some other folks.
Of course a massive thank you to the Queens of the Vespis, DugZa and ikiarihS for drafting me in the first place. Especially for the amount I was, sure 7500 isn't that big overall, but it was higher than I personally believed I was worth at the time and I'm grateful that I was given that opportunity to preform on a team as solid as this one.
Guzzles for being a complete queenie and being able to call out what my opp was going to load a few times and being a bit of a voice of reason to some of my more maniac decisions. I'm still not putting TWave on my Klefki, you can't make me, I'll load Screens TWave Tinkaton before that.
memomiguel for just being a nice person to be around, I don't think I spoke to you at all prior to this tour but you just where just nice and that was nice.
Ashbala for helping with prep a few weeks and even providing a team once when I was unsure of what to load before I began the Fairy load arc.
To the rest of my team, I'm sorry I can't give you compliments I didn't really talk with you guys enough sadly but you where all good folks to be around an I wouldn't mind teaming with any of you guys again.
Also shoutouts to the people cheering me on, I was made aware of folks like Seo, Boomp, Elvira, Murphy Lawden, and Vlarechops but I am positive there where plenty others that where rooting for me. Unless I was fighting them then they wanted me to lose which understandable, I would want me to lose if I was fighting me.
Oh yeah, there was also Walee rooting for me, but Walee is a fraud, they can't even beat Hisuian Qwilfish with 6 Psychic-types because they're that big a fraud.
I'll talk about the teams and the weeks later as I want to go deep onto my own personal thoughts and why I did some goofy things that I did (Like that Sitrus berry Toxapex) but I feel like that would make more sense for the team dump. Hell I might even just record my thoughts and go through them like that if I feel like it because I do have a lot to say.

Since this was the first team tour I've participated in, I just wanted to do my own little spiel to talk about my experience a little bit and thank some particular people.
Being on the bench for the start of the tour was easy for me being as what I expected, but I sat down, learned and built a lot. I'm happy a few of my teams got brought, or edits of those teams. These two teams in particular are teams I'm happy with and felt successful, even if the one that got brought lost. I don't want to teamdump everything I built during this tour, but these two teams in particular were really interesting. I really liked Lando-I as an offensive rocker on flying at the time, and with gambit gone it might be even better now too.
Once I got the start, I wasn't particularly happen with my results. But going 2-3 is something I take some solace in and I can learn a lot from some of my losses. I learned a lot about team tours in general as it wasn't something I previously was able to get involved in, but playing in a high-stakes environment, prepping with my team was a lot of fun. I got my first win in a tier I had little to no experience in, was just interested in learning at the start of the season. It felt easy to give up on this game but I'm proud of how hard I worked in this week that didn't matter in pursuit of a win regardless. I was not doing well in tests, I knew I was up against a player who has been in this slot for awhile, and albeit the week didn't matter for them either, I admittedly had less confidence but more motivation to try to win anyways. I'm proud of myself for sticking with BW Monotype for that entire week despite the struggles I faced, and in the end I am really happy with the improvement I made in that one week, learning a new tier and gave me a lot of confidence in my adaptability and ability to learn on the fly.
I was very thankful to be trusted to be given the SV4 slot in the playoffs given how it was in the air the majority of the season. In my semis game I knew immediately I wanted to load flying, it looked justifiable given the scout and it's my favourite type in SV. Although I lost the game, the mirror was unfavourable and was something that I should've personally considered going into the game, however I felt like this was the singular game of the tour where I could personally learn a lot about my prep and playing and apply it to the finals.
Being winless in SV was hard for me to take going into the finals but it was time to Lock In. sasha immediately called rain as a good bring. I didn't click with it immediately, I wasn't familiar with rain in monotype as previously I only used in tiers I could put a specs hurricane on and spam it and win. But I stuck with it, as I had a gut feeling that fire was being brought against me this week, and I turned out to be right. My managers spent a lot of time working on the team/build we wanted to use with me, and I appreciate how much support I got from this tour, learning a lot about prep but also just in general, I came out of this tour twice the player I went in as. Getting a win in SV was really encouraging, and I'm happy I got the week off to a good start, sadly the result didn't come out the way we wanted.
sasha adjustments thank you for stealing me from royal, even if I had some frustrating losses, I learned a lot from this tour and realistically I appreciate the amount of help I had in this tour. I had a blast playing, testing, and building and wish we could've won. The team chat was extremely active, fun to be around, and active in prep and testing which helped so much in my improvement and I think the other new players and just new mono players in general can say the same in this respect.
Ethereal Sword Ninja Thank you for the tests, the teams, and just a good time. I learned a lot from testing with both of you and I hope to some extent I provided some help in your team chats as well. I hope to team with both of you in the future where ever that may be.
RoyalReloaded I wouldn't be in this tour or Smogon without you, even though I wasn't a 3k min buy from the Glorps like I expected, I hope we get to team in the future and thank you for still playing/building throughout this tour despite not teaming. In particular before my first game taking me almost entirely through a matchup that I should've been able to win but wasn't able to get down. I went from losing that matchup to winning it a lot. I wouldn't be on this site without knowing you beforehand and I appreciate your help a lot.
GGs to the Chimchars, I really hope to get more involved in Monotype and team tours in general going forward, I had a blast and am still extremely motivated despite the tough finals loss. Thanks everyone!
