* Mewtwo carves out a niche for itself as a wallbreaker and late-game cleaner on hyper offense teams thanks to its good Speed stat and ability to blow past most defensive Pokemon after a Nasty Plot boost. It especially excels against balance with the right support, as common cores such as Giratina-O + Alomomola and Primal Groudon + Ho-Oh fold to it with relative ease. It also lures in and defeats many of Mega Mewtwo Y's checks such as Arceus-Dark and Yveltal. However, Mewtwo faces heavy competition from other Psychic-types such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Deoxys-A, with the former having more longevity and not relying on Tera, the latter hitting much harder, and both being faster and not Speed tying with Eternatus. Mewtwo does have small advantages over them, namely being able to OHKO many more foes than Mega Mewtwo Y thanks to Life Orb, including defensive Ho-Oh and defensive Primal Kyogre after a boost, and being able to survive attacks unlike Deoxys-A, Mewtwo's glaring weaknesses such as being quite frail; vulnerable to entry hazards, particularly Toxic Spikes; and reliant on Tera make it hard to fit on many teams, so it needs the right support in order to thrive.
* Psystrike is a powerful STAB move with great neutral coverage that, thanks to it using the foe's Defense stat, can break through special walls such as Chansey and defensive Ho-Oh after a boost. Earth Power deals with Steel-types that Mewtwo would otherwise be unable to threaten, such as Necrozma-DM and Zacian after a boost. while also OHKOing Primal Groudon after a boost.
* Tera Blast Fairy OHKOes Dark-types that would otherwise wall it such as specially offensive Yveltal, and defensive Yveltal and Arceus-Dark are OHKOed after a boost.
* Tera Fairy also lets Mewtwo set up on typical switch-ins such as Yveltal and Arceus-Dark. This also gives Mewtwo a resistance to Yveltal's Sucker Punch and Choice Scarf Yveltal's Foul Play as well as a neutrality to Marshadow's Shadow Sneak, all big threats to not only Mewtwo but also the hyper offense teams it is a part of.
* Mewtwo is best used on Sticky Web teams where it doesn't have to worry about other fast Pokemon such as Zacian-C and Deoxys-A outspeeding it or Speed tying with Eternatus. Mewtwo is frail and reliant on Tera, so it is a big commitment to send out and should mainly be used as a late-game cleaner when there are little to no Pokemon left capable of stopping it. However, Mewtwo is effective as a mid-game wallbreaker capable of OHKOing a variety of relevant threats such as Zygarde, Eternatus, and Yveltal without a boost.
* Because Mewtwo is so frail, it should almost never switch in on a Pokemon and only come in after a teammate faints. While it can take some weak attacks such as Marshadow's Low Kick and Zygarde's Thousand Arrows, doing so all but guarantees that Mewtwo will not be able to set up.
* Shuckle and Smeargle are the most desirable Sticky Web setters, as the other entry hazards they provide are invaluable to wear down Pokemon Mewtwo has trouble finishing off, such as defensive Primal Kyogre. However, Mewtwo can function on forms of hyper offense other than Sticky Web, such as hazard stack and dual screens teams. Glimmora in particular is a great choice for hazard stack, as it gets rid of the Toxic Spikes that Mewtwo hates, though Deoxys-S is also a good choice for its great hazard-setting potential. Dual screens Grimmsnarl and Deoxys-S can help the frail Mewtwo get a setup opportunity.
* Since Mewtwo is quite reliant on Tera, teammates that don't need to Terastallize to succeed are desirable. Meteor Beam Eternatus absorbs Toxic Spikes that can easily wear Mewtwo down, overwhelms Steel-types like Ferrothorn, Zacian-C, and Necrozma-DM, and threatens problematic Pokemon such as defensive Ho-Oh and Yveltal. In turn, Mewtwo's Psystrike takes out Arceus formes that Terastallized to the Poison-type that would wall Meteor Beam Eternatus. Pokemon such as Dragon Dance Arceus-Ground and Dragon Dance Ultra Necrozma are also valuable, as they threaten the Pokemon Mewtwo struggles against such as Zacian-C and Primal Groudon. Arceus-Ground in particular appreciates Mewtwo's solid matchup against stall. On Sticky Web structures, Chi-Yu is another solid option that scares the aforementioned Steel-types. Specially offensive Yveltal does a decent job of checking Marshadow and Ho-Oh, which could pose an issue for Mewtwo, aswell as keeping up the hazards Mewtwo relies on. Wallbreaker Primal Kyogre checks Ho-Oh and Zygarde, and it can switch in on defensive Primal Groudon.

Glad to see you took a look through the GP standards! So many people don't. This is great for a first try, but needs to be beefed up a bit. Ping me when you've applied the QC so I can stamp it. Discussing whether Focus Blast should be dropped atm as it is already hard to justify running this set to begin with + Tera Fairy means it doesn't get deleted by Scarf Yveltal Oblivion Wing which already gives HO trouble. Sami is going to QC2, but if Zrp200 has the time before this goes to GP it'd be great if you could take a look at this as well.

* Mewtwo carves out a niche for itself as a wallbreaker and late game cleaner on hyper offense teams thanks to its good speed stat and ability to blow past most Pokemon in the format after a Nasty Plot boostsuch as? Some more detail is needed beyond saying it is strong. I'd also mention that it is a lure and turns the tables on typical counterplay to Mega Mewtwo Y such as Arceus-Dark and Yveltal. However, it is quite frail, and very reliant on tera, so it isn't easy to fit on a team. A better way of saying this would be Mewtwo's flaws such as...make it difficult to fit on many teams, but it is an excellent balance breaker when properly supported (can go into what that support entails later). Its vulnerability to entry hazards, particularly Toxic Spikes should be mentioned. It also has competition with Mega Mewtwo Y, who is less tera reliant and faster. Not really sure if this sentence is needed here. It could be incorporated into the bit above about it being a lure.
* Tera Fairy Tera Blast OHKOes kills Dark-(ah)types there is a hyphen that would otherwise wall it such as specially offensive Yveltal while and Arceus-Dark and defensive Yveltal are OHKOed after a boost checked and neither Arceus-Dark nor defensive/scarf Yveltal are OHKOed w/o a boost. Also group this together with Focus Blast since they're slashed together. LiIkewise, Earth Power deals with Steel types that Mewtwo would otherwise be unable to threaten, such as Necrozma-DM and Zacian It is Zacian-C and it isn't a great idea to suggest that Mewtwo should be used to deal with Zacian-C. An example you could give is Primal Groudon which is OHKOed after a boost which is something Mega Mewtwo Y cannot do .
* Alternatively, Focus Blast and Ice Beam are much less reliant on tera, although they struggle to break through more things such as Specially Offensive Yveltal and Giratina-O, as well as being unreliable thanks to Focus Blasts accuracy. This set is also mostly outclassed by Mega Mewtwo Y, as it doesn't suffer from chip damage from Life Orb, and doesn't speed tie with Eternatus. If we are saying that MMY completely outclasses it there is no reason for Focus Blast to be included. This bullet can probably be deleted, but there should be one on Psystrike. Due to the Life Orb boost Mewtwo has favorable odds to OHKO defensive Ho-Oh and OHKOes support Arceus formes after Stealth Rock which MMY cannot do.
* Mewtwo running Focus Blast should run tera Fighting, as it helps it break past things like Zacian-C and Necrozma-DM. Removed for the reasons mentioned above. This bullet should talk about the defensive benefits of Tera Fairy as they are important. It turns its Dark-Type weakness into a resistance which is important for Yveltal's Sucker Punch. It also enables Mewtwo to survive Marshadow's Shadow Sneak. These are huge threats to the HO teams it fits on. This also applies to Choice Scarf Yveltal's Foul Play. Basically it turns the tables on a lot of the biggest threats to HO teams, you could mention a vulnerability to Ditto though.

* Mewtwo is best used on Sticky Web teams, where it doesn't have to worry about Zacian-C, Deoxys-Attack, and other fast Pokemon such as Zacian-C and Deoxys-A outspeeding it or Speed ties with Eternatus. It is a very effective mid-game wallbreaker. Expand on this.
* Mewtwo does well alongside Dragon Dance Arceus-Groundif it needs a specific set it should be mentioned, as it helps with many of its scariest matchups like Zacian-C and Marshadow , Eternatus, and Necrozma-DM Mewtwo doesn't have signifcant issues with these. Especially useful is its ability to run Groundium-Z to make it less tera reliant. This is dex info Sticky Web setters such as Shuckle and Smeargle are also invaluable to help it outspeed some of its more problematic matchups.
* Mewtwo is very reliant on tera, so teammates that don't need to terastalize often are very desirable. This can be tricky to achieve on hyper offense, as many staples are very keen on using their tera. Pokemon such as offensive Primal Kyogre, specially offensive Yveltal, and Zekrom, who don't rely on tera very much, are ideal. Zekrom and Arceus-Ground both use Z-Crystals so you would want to mention what Zekrom brings to the table that Arceus-Ground does not. You also want to mention how these Pokemon benefit from Mewtwo and what Mewtwo offers in return (i.e. Yveltal helping to keep up Sticky Webs). Also if Mewtwo is exclusive to Sticky Web structures that should be mentioned in the first bullet rather than the more general 'hyper offense.' If not the other HO archetypes it fits on should be mentioned. Also Meteor Beam Eternatus is a good teamate to mention as it can absorb Toxic Spikes and is also a good wallbreaker. Ultra Necrozma and Chi-Yu would also be worth mentioning.

As an aside, the general goal of an analysis is to ensure that the reader walks away with a decent idea of how to use and build with the set in question without coming across as though you're dictating precisely how to do so. You've done a great job with the tone, but a fair bit more detail is needed before this is stamped.

such as? Some more detail is needed beyond saying it is strong.
quite frankly, it would be easier to list the things that it can't OHKO after a boost.

I'd also mention that it is a lure and turns the tables on typical counterplay to Mega Mewtwo Y such as Arceus-Dark and Yveltal.

* Mewtwo carves out a niche for itself as a wallbreaker and late game cleaner on hyper offense teams thanks to its good speed stat and ability to blow past most Pokemon in the metagame format after a Nasty Plot boost. You need some examples because you're hyping it up a bit in this section, and it also lets people know what it is targeting. You could take the last sentence and move it here as the main allure is how it breaks the defensive core of balance teams. It also lures in and defeats many of Mega Mewtwo Y's checks to the typical Mega Mewtwo Y, such as Arceus-Dark and Yveltal. However, Mewtwo's flaws such as being quite frail and reliant on tera make it hard to fit on many teams. It is also vulnerable to hazards, especially Toxic Spikes, which is unfortunate as hyper offense doesn't have a method of hazard removal. This is assumed knowledge. Thiscan be combined with the sentence about its falws. When properly supported however, it is very strong, as it tears through common balance cores such as Giratina-O / Alomomola and Primal Groudon / Ho-Oh.
* Psystrike is a powerful STAB move that, thanks to it using the opponent's defense stat, can break through special walls such as Chansey and defensive Ho-Oh after a boost. You can talk about its strong neutral coverage as +2 Psystrike OHKOes Timid Calm Mind Arceus formes after Stealth Rock. Defensive Ho-Oh is specified because MMY does not OHKO at +2.
* Tera Fairy Tera Blast OHKOes Dark-types that would otherwise wall it such as Specially Offensive Yveltal, while Defensive Yveltal and Arceus-Dark are OHKOed after a boost. Likewise, Earth Power deals with Steel-(ah)types that Mewtwo would otherwise be unable to threaten, such as Necrozma-DM and Zacian after a boost while also OHKOing Primal Groudon after a boost. Earth Power can be merged with the Psytrike bullet.
* On top of making Tera Blast Fairy type, dex info Ttera Fairy also makes Mewtwo resist Yveltal's Sucker Punch and be hit neutrally by Marshadow's Shadow Sneak, both big threats to the hyper offense teams it is a part of. Discuss the defensive applications of Tera Fairy because it is helpful beyond access to Fairy-type coverage. It enables Mewtwo to set up on typical switch-ins. It also means that Choice Scarf Yveltal cannot safely revenge kill it until it is quite low which is signficant as most teams running it would rely on it for this role and are unlikely to have many other measures to handle Mewtwo.
* Mewtwo is best used on Sticky Web teams, where it doesn't have to worry about other fast Pokemon such as Zacian-C and Deoxys-Attack outspeeding it, or speed ties with Eternatus. Because it is so frail and reliant on tera, it is a big commitment to send out, so it should mainly be used as a late-game cleaner, when there are little to no Pokemon left capable of stopping it. However, it is effective as a mid-game wall breaker capable of OHKOing a variety of relevant threats such as Zygarde, Eternatus, and Yveltal without a boost. Can it switch-in on any Pokemon or does it have to wait for something to faint to get on the field? If it is the former talk about Mewtwo's entry opportunities here.
* Shuckle and Smeargle are the most desirable Sticky Web setters, as the hazards they provide are invaluable to wear down Pokemon Mewtwo has trouble finishing off, such as Defensive Primal Kyogre. However, Mewtwo can function on forms of hyper offense other than Sticky Webs, such as hazard stack, psyspam, it does not have a proven track record of success on psyspam teams and screens. Glimmora in particular is a great choice for hazard stack alongside Mewtwo, as it helps get rid of the Toxic Spikes that Mewtwo hates, though Deoxys-S is also a good choice for its great hazard setting potential. Grimmsnarl and Dual Screens Deoxys-S can help the frail Mewtwo get a setup opportunity with their screens. Tapu-Lele's Psychic Terrain not only increases the power of Mewtwo's Psystrike, but also protects it from priority moves, one of Mewtwo's biggest weaknesses.
* Since Mewtwo is quite reliant on tera, teammates that don't need to terastalize to succeed are desirable. Mewtwo pairs well with Meteor Beam Eternatus, as it absorbs Toxic Spikes that can easily wear it down and, as well as overwhelms Steel-types like Ferrothorn, Zacian-C,(ac) and Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM. Mention how Calm Mind Arceus formes that Tera Poison for Eternatus's Sludge Bomb find themselves vulnerable to Mewtwo. It can also threaten Pokemon such as Yveltal and Ho-Oh without the need to tera while serving as a soft check to Choice Band Marshadow. Pokemon with a strong Ground-type move dex info such as Dragon Dance Arceus-Ground and Ultra Dragon Dance Ultra Necrozma-DM are also valuable, as they threaten the Pokemon Mewtwo struggles against such as Zacian-C and Marshadow. Mention how Arceus-Ground can take advantage of a Marshadow locked into Shadow Sneak to setup while Arceus-Ground benefits from Mewtwo's decent stall matchup. On Sticky Web structures, Chi-Yu does not fit outside of webs so it needs to be specified Chi-Yu is another solid option that scares the aforementioned Steel-types. Specially offensive Yveltal does a decent job of checking Marshadow and Ho-Oh that could pose an issue for Mewtwo mention how consistent it is at maintaining the entry hazards, particularly Sticky Web that Mewtwo is reliant on for success. Yveltal appreciates Mewtwo beating Taunt Calm Mind Arceus-Dark and -Fairy which would otherwise use it for setup fodder. Wallbreaker Primal Kyogre checks Ho-Oh, as well as Yveltal, who poses a threat with Sucker Punch. How does it do this? Also it can switch into defensive Primal Groudon which Mewtwo quite appreciates. Resetting the weather means that Mewtwo is no longer OHKOed by Overheat after one round of Life Orb chip. Primal Kyogre checking Zygarde should also be mentioned. Lastly, Yveltal fits on every HO structure, but other pokemon may be more specific. If they only fit on a specific type of HO this should be clarified.

* Psystrike is a powerful STAB move with great neutral coverage that, thanks to it using the opponent's defense stat, can break through special walls such as Chansey and defensive Ho-Oh after a boost. Earth Power deals with Steel-types that Mewtwo would otherwise be unable to threaten, such as Necrozma-DM and Zacian after a boost. while also OHKOing Primal Groudon after a boost.
* Tera Blast Fairy OHKOes Dark-types that would otherwise wall it such as specially offensive Yveltal, while defensive Yveltal and Arceus-Dark are OHKOed after a boost.
* Tera Fairy also lets Mewtwo set up on typical switch-ins such a as Yveltal and Arceus-Dark, and makes Mewtwo resist Yveltal's Sucker Punch and Choice Scarf Yveltal's Foul Play and be hit neutrally by Marshadow's Shadow Sneak, all big threats to not only Mewtwo, but the hyper offense teams it is a part of.
* Mewtwo is best used on Sticky Web teams, where it doesn't have to worry about other fast Pokemon such as Zacian-C and Deoxys-A outspeeding it, or speed ties with Eternatus.
* Because Mewtwo is so frail, it should almost never switch in on a Pokemon, only coming in after a teammate faints. While it can take some weak attacks such as Marshadow's Low Kick and Zygarde's Thousand Arrows, doing so all but guarantees that Mewtwo will not be able to set up.
* Shuckle and Smeargle are the most desirable Sticky Web setters, as the hazards they provide are invaluable to wear down Pokemon Mewtwo has trouble finishing off, such as defensive Primal Kyogre. However, Mewtwo can function on forms of hyper offense other than Sticky Webs, such as hazard stack and screens.
* Since Mewtwo is quite reliant on tera, teammates that don't need to terastalize to succeed are desirable. Mewtwo pairs well with Meteor Beam Eternatus, as it absorbs Toxic Spikes that can easily wear Mewtwo down and overwhelms Steel-types like Ferrothorn, Zacian-C and Necrozma-DM, while also threatening problematic Pokemon such as defensive Ho-Oh and Yveltal. In turn, tera Poison Arceus formes that Terastallized to the Poison-type that would wall Meteor Beam Eternatus cannot withstand Mewtwo's Psystrike. Pokemon such as Dragon Dance Arceus-Ground and Dragon Dance Ultra Necrozma are also valuable, as they threaten the Pokemon Mewtwo struggles against such as Zacian-C and Primal Groudon. Arceus-Ground in particular appreciates Mewtwo's solid matchup into stall. On Sticky Web structures, Chi-Yu is another solid option that scares the aforementioned Steel-types. Specially offensive Yveltal does a decent job of checking Marshadow and Ho-Oh who could pose an issue for Mewtwo, and does a great job of keeping up the hazards Mewtwo relies on. Wallbreaker Primal Kyogre checks Ho-Oh and Zygarde, and can switch in on defensive Primal Groudon.

[SET COMMENTS]

* Mewtwo carves out a niche for itself as a wallbreaker and late game late-game cleaner on hyper offense teams thanks to its good Speed stat and ability to blow past most defensive Pokemon in the format after a Nasty Plot boost. Against balance It especially (RC) it excels against balance with the right support, as common balance cores such as Giratina-O / + Alomomola and Primal Groudon / + Ho-Oh fold to it with relative ease. It also lures in and defeats many of Mega Mewtwo Y's checks such as Arceus-Dark and Yveltal. However, Mewtwo faces heavy competition from other Psychic types Psychic-types such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Deoxys-A, with the former having more longevity and not relying on Tera, the latter hitting much harder, and both being faster (RC) meaning they don't speed tie and not Speed tying with Eternatus. * Shuckle and Smeargle are the most desirable Sticky Web setters, as the other entry hazards they provide are invaluable to wear down Pokemon Mewtwo has trouble finishing off, such as defensive Primal Kyogre. added 'other' here because webs themselves don't wear anyhing down so I'm assuming these run rocks+webs or spikes+webs However, Mewtwo can function on forms of hyper offense other than Sticky Webs Web, such as hazard stack and dual screens teams.
