Metagross (Trick Room) @ Iron ball
Nature: Brave/ Sassy
Moveset:
Meteor Mash
Hammer Arm
earthquake
Explosion/Hone Claws/gyro ball
Evs: 252 Attack/ 92 defense/ 160 Sp. Defense/ 4 speed
This is an interesting set I thought of. One, Metagross holds an iron ball. In Trick Room, this is pretty much a free agility. Brave or sassy is to maximize the trick room. Meteor mash is your good ol' stab attack, with 150 base power with STAB. Hammer arm is a hard hitting fighting attack, and under the trick room, the reduction hammer arm gives is like a +1 boosting move. Earthquake. Thats all that needs to be said about such a glorious move. The final attack is an interesting one with several options to choose from. Explosion might have had a power cut this generation, but it still hits like a truck. Really annoying if Metagross is about to die. Hone claws boosts your attack to 607 with brave and 553-554 attack with sassy. It also corrects meteor mash, which has an 85 accuracy; not the most accurate thing in the world. Gyro ball is for when trick room wears off. It will hit 95.4%-112.4% with a sassy nature to a 0 defense Ev Salamence and 104.5%- 123.3% with adamant.
Checks and counters
Any pokemon with high attack and a hard hitting STAB attack will take out metagross because he will go last. This metagross is a tank and will take weaker attacks.
Pokemon like skarmory completely wall this set, not fearing M.Mash, hammer arm, or earthquake.

SET UP TRICK ROOM! I don't recommend bronzong, mostly because he shares the typing with metagross. Other trick room pokemon like Reuniclus work. Unlike metagross, he has a specially oriented stat spread and a plethora of support moves. If you are really in the mood to do something out there, try a trick room sandstorm team (Tyranitar is slow?) Reuniclus isn't affected due to magic guard and MGross has no fear due to typing.
Trick room: the single most confusing thing about pokemon.
