Mega Glalie/Omastar Hyper Offense

So this is my first time doing this kind of thing, but I wanted to make a good HO team. Here are my Pokemon:

omastar.gif

Omastar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Weak Armor
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Toxic Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Ice Beam

A good suicide lead that sets up Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rocks with ease. Scald and Ice Beam so Omastar can get some good chip damage off before it gets taken down. I had it learn Toxic Spikes instead of Spikes because Mega Glalie already has those.

glalie-mega.gif

Glalie-Mega @ Glalitite
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Return
- Explosion

"ANOTHER SUICIDE LEAD OMFG MEGA WTF ARE YOU DOING????" Well, Mega Glalie is more of an offensive hazard setter than a suicide lead. It sets up Spikes, Taunts anything that could remove its Spikes, and then proceeds to punch holes in the opponent's team with Return. It can't take that many hits due to its mediocre bulk, but that's okay. I can just finish them off with Explosion anyways.

cinccino.gif

WHO'S USELESS NOW!? (Cinccino) @ Choice Band
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Tail Slap
- Rock Blast
- Bullet Seed
- U-turn

I seriously don't get why people write this off as a "shitmon" like Ambipom and Typhlosion. I think it could put in some decent work, and it does have a niche as the only GOOD Skill Link user in the tier. This Cinccino set is meant to sweep late-game once all its counters are weak as fuck, thanks to the hazards I set up earlier. It actually makes a decent late-game cleaner, and I don't get why... oh, right. STEEL-TYPES. Thankfully, I have a solution for that:

delphox.gif

Delphox @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
- Fire Blast
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Substitute

Delphox doesn't care about Steel types, since it can just scorch them with STAB Fire Blast and easily kill them. Bulkier Steel-types like Mega Steelix can be destroyed easily after a Calm Mind boost, and if your opponent switches in their Alomomola it gets destroyed by Psychic after Stealth Rock damage. But we need to keep those hazards on the field, so...

rotom.gif

Rotom @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 124 HP / 132 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp
- Discharge
- Hex

Rotom basically shuts down any Rapid Spinner (except Blastoise) and cripples them with Will-O-Wisp. Substitute lets it avoid KO's and spead status easily, and then it can take out crippled foes with Hex. Discharge is another nice STAB to get damage off.

hitmonlee.gif

Hitmonlee (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- Poison Jab
- Rapid Spin

And finally, we have a Pokemon that can easily spin away hazards while keeping mine on the field. Hitmonlee can easily sweep teams with High Jump Kick and Knock Off opponents' items, but I put it on my team for one reason: Rapid Spin. Rapid Spin lets Hitmonlee bring the rest of my team in safely, but keeps my hazards on the other side of the field. Poison Jab is also nice to hit fairies.

So, what do you think?

Heyo this is a really nice hazard stacking HO team you have here. Here's the rate:

  • A HO team has its own banes, one of them, Fletchinder is very dangerous to your team, as your only Flying-type check is Rotom, which takes about 60% from a +2 Acrobatics. Omastar cannot be regarded as a check, because it is a lead, and thus it's going to stack hazards and faint in the first few turns. Therefore, having a Fletchinder check is quite essential for your team. I'm also quite iffy about Hitmonlee being on your team. Sure, it is a great wallbreaker, but it has mediocre Speed and poor Defense, which makes it very frail. Moreover, for a HO team such as yours, you'd appreciate Speed more than Power, or at least, a powerful Pokemon that has the bulk to take hits and hit very hard in return. Noticing you have already an Electric-type, and Rock- and Steel-types just stacks up weakness in your team, the optimal choice is to run Swords Dance Samurott over Hitmonlee. Samurott is a very dangerous setup sweeper, which can setup on a plethora of Pokemon, and becomes very dangerous with Waterfall, Megahorn and Aqua Jet. Samurott also appreciates help from Rotom, as Rotom can cripple Grass-types and weaken them a lot with Hex, which will aid an easier Samurott clean. Aqua Jet is really useful, since it can hit Fletchinder and KO it.

  • Now it seems like your team is weak to Volt Switch spam, as Pokemon such as Manectric, Jolteon, and Choice Scarf Rotom-Mow can just switch into any Pokemon, and get a free Volt Switch, as your team has no Electric-type immunity. Therefore, having an Electric-type immunity is essential for your team. Moreover, Chinccino isn't that great of a Pokemon overall, especially because it cannot hit Steel-type Pokemon, and even with Delphox, they can just switch out. Cinccino is also very fragile and gets KOed by a Sucker Punch from Absol, and takes a lot of damage from Fletchinder's Acrobatics. On the other hand, having Speed control is very nice for a HO team such as yours. Therefore the best option is to use Choice Scarf Flygon over Cinccino, as it is immune to Volt Switch, and despite being weak to Hidden Power [Ice], can make the opponent think twice before hitting a move. Flygon also forces switches, giving you momentum with U-Turn. It's also your best bet of dealing with Choice Scarf Tyrantrum, which hampers offense a lot.

  • I do not like how your Delphox gets walled by Houndoom, which lets you get Pursuit trapped or Houndoom has the opportunity to hit your switchin hard. However, I do understand why you'd run Substitute on Delphox, as Sucker Punch is prominent on the tier, with popular users such as Absol, Houndoom, and Hitmonlee. Therefore the best option is to run Dazzling Gleam Colbur Berry Delphox, as it can live a Sucker Punch, and lure Houndoom and hit it hard. The power drop isn't that noticeable, especially since you have Calm Mind to further boost your Special Attack, and prove to be more threatening to bulkier builds, as they often depend on Life Orb recoil to beat threats.

  • There's one more threat that hinders Samurott's sweep, and nothing can want to switch into that Pokemon especially if it's offensive. That Pokemon is Poliwrath, which is being more popular due to Sharpedo and Absol in the tier. Blastoise is also annoying for your team, as it can remove hazards with relative ease against a lot of your Pokemon. Looking at your team, that Glalie set is kind of mediocre, because it just shuts down Defog users, which are getting less popular, the best one is Flygon, which gets KOed by Ice Shard. Therefore, a Glalie which hits Water-types is much appreciated. Thus, you should use a 252 SpA Freeze Dry and Super Fang Glalie, as Freeze Dry would hurt Water-types very hard, and Super Fang can be used to weaken switch-ins like Bronzong, Escavalier, and Mega Steelix, leading to an easier Samurott sweep. Having Freeze Dry also lures Poliwrath and Blastoise, and they can be 2HKOed, easing Samurott for a sweep.

  • Finally, I do know that the EV Spread of Rotom is of the analysis, but 120 HP gives a better Stealth Rock number, since it's an odd number. So you should remove 4 HP EVs and add it to SpA EVs on Rotom.

Okay, thanks... but I have one issue. Hitmonlee was on my team not only beacause of its wallbreaking potential, but also because it had Rapid Spin to remove my foe's hazards so my other Pokemon can come in safely. Glalie in particular HATES switching in to Stealth Rock, as it needs as much health left as possible to set up Spikes and continue its sweep. Without Hitmonlee, I have no way of removing hazards from my side of the field. Samurott is bulkier and has more firepower, but it can't provide rapid Spin support like Hitmonlee. Thanks, but no thanks.

Ehh the few times I've used hitmonlee as an offensive spinner it usually doesn't work. It very rarely get the chance to spin since it kinda just wants to do damage all the time.

Yeah... anyone else have an offensive spinner or something that I could use?
You wouldnt be switching Glalie in much, as its job is to stack Spikes and weaken walls. I doubt u need hazard removal. Without Samurott you autolose to Fletchinder as well.
