Hey there, this is my first RMT so I would appreciate some sound feedback.
The team at a glance:

Espeon @ Light Clay
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Yawn
- Psychic
Role: Dedicated lead; screen setter, entry hazard/status prevention
Description: Espeon has been my dedicated lead since the beginning of this team given its superlative ability in magic bounce along with its respectable 110 base speed.
Most setups are usually withdrawn once the opponent realises that Magic Bounce is in play, although there is the occasional player who gives me a free rocks setup ☺ Based on whether the opponent sports a physical or special attacker, I will then set up a reflect or light screen accordingly to soak up some damage.
The idea behind Espeon is that I yawn on the second last turn before he is KO’d (assuming no crits) so that once I bring in Mega-Diancie or Dragonite to replace it I will get a free turn to setup with a Calm Mind or Dragon Dance respectively.
Notable Weaknesses: Max attack scarfed Lando-T U-Turn, Weavile, banded Hoopa-Unbound, faster mon’s with Shadow Ball etc.

Diancie-Mega @ Diancite
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 32 Atk / 224 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Spe
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Calm Mind
Role: Set-up sweeper, status prevention
Description: After 1-2 Calm Minds, Mega-Diancie is practically unstoppable bar some steel-moves such as Bullet Punch. Diancie is usually my go to after Espeon falls, depending on how many steel Pokémon are on the opposing team. Pretty standard EV’s and STAB moves in Moonblast and Diamond Storm, whilst HP Fire is there to demolish predicted Ferrothorn and Scizor switch-ins.
Notable Weaknesses: Mega-Scizor/Mega Metagross Bullet Punch

Dragonite @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
Role: set-up sweeper, FWG & Ground resistance
Description: Dragonite is usually my second sweeping option if it doesn’t look like Diancie will get the job done. Lum berry comes in very useful coming up against Mega Sableye and Rotom-Wash as it allows me to get off an extra Dragon Dance. I’ve been thinking about replacing Fire Punch or EQ with Extremespeed but both moves have come in very handy
Notable Weaknesses: Kyurem-Black, Weavile + fairy types

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
Role: Revenge killer, backup sweeper, defog counter
Description: Pretty standard Bisharp set/role that acts as a useful fairy killer. With one swords dance it is an absolute monster. However, the unreliability of Sucker Punch and Bisharp’s low 70 base speed really hinder its contribution to the team. Open to potentially swapping Bisharp for someone else.
Notable Weaknesses: Mach Punch/Vacuum Wave/Focus blast users

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 Spe
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Toxic
- Earth Power
Role: Staller, water/electric resist
Description: Despite belonging in RU, Gastrodon is a monster in OU. If you can predict an incoming water attack and switch into this bad-boy then you’re going to have a good time. The only real negatives are the 4x weakness to grass along with base 39 speed. Contemplating running a Rindo Berry over leftovers to possibly tank a grass move but not sure if it would be enough.
Notable Weaknesses: Grass ☹

Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
- Rock Tomb
Role: spore, rock/dark counter
Description: Breloom can on a good day do a lot of work countering the likes of Tyranitar and Charizard X/Y. The speed drop on rock tomb is helpful in revenge killing once Breloom goes down. However if rocks are up (which isn’t too often given that 2x Magic Bouncers in the team) then Breloom is very frail and can be eliminated with ease. This spot in the team is somewhat dispensable.
Notable Weaknesses: Talonflame / Fairys /Weavile
And there you have it! I think the team has a lot of potential but some tweaking is required; I've only managed to get into the 1300s with it. Thanks for reading: I appreciate any insight.
