[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Charizard X is a dangerous wallbreaker and setup sweeper thanks to its near-unresisted STAB combination that is further boosted by Tough Claws and Dragon Dance. At +1, Mega Charizard X outspeeds Choice Scarf users below base 100 Speed such as Landorus-T and Tapu Lele. Its typing lets it switch in on and force out common Steel- and Grass-types such as Corviknight, Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, Tangrowth, and Rillaboom, granting it setup opportunities. Flare Blitz deals serious damage to common Ground-types such as Gliscor and Landorus-T. Dragon Claw is preferable in the second moveslot to not be walled by other Dragon-types such as Garchomp and Mega Latias. However, this leaves it walled by Heatran and more easily checked by Mega Diancie and Tyranitar. Earthquake provides a way to hit Toxapex, and Steel-types weak to it such as Excadrill and Magnezone without taking recoil from Flare Blitz, while also OHKOing Heatran and Mega Diancie after a Dragon Dance and 2HKOing Mega Tyranitar after Stealth Rock. Thunder Punch could be used to hit bulky Water-types such as Slowbro, Tapu Fini, and Pelipper more effectively, but it gives worse neutral coverage. Roost recovers HP lost from Flare Blitz recoil and residual damage, letting Mega Charizard X check Grass-types like Rillaboom more easily. A Jolly nature is better to outspeed Pokemon below base 100 Speed like Landorus-T, Tapu Lele, Hydreigon and Kyurem.

Mega Charizard X functions as a early- or mid-game wallbreaker that can take advantage of Steel- and Grass-types such as Corviknight, Mega Scizor, Tangrowth, Amoonguss, and Ferrothorn, which benefits Pokemon like Rillaboom, Tapu Lele, Kartana, and Tapu Koko. In return, they can pressure some of its checks like Slowbro, Tapu Fini, Toxapex, Tyranitar, and Mega Diancie. Due to Charizard's 4x weakness to Stealth Rock prior to Mega Evolving, entry hazard removers such as Zapdos, Corviknight, and Tapu Fini are mandatory partners. Tapu Fini can also protect Mega Charizard X from status through Misty Terrain, giving it more opportunities to setup Dragon Dance. Stealth Rock setters like Garchomp, Clefable, and Gliscor chip some of boosted Mega Charizard X's answers; offensive Landorus-T turns from a decent check to a likely OHKO, Toxapex becomes a likely 2HKO, and Tapu Fini becomes a guaranteed 2HKO. Garchomp can also break through Landorus-T and Gliscor with its Z-Move to help Mega Charizard X sweep. Due to its Ground weakness after Mega Evolving, checks to Ground-types like Rillaboom, Tangrowth, and Corviknight make good teammates, with the latter also providing Defog support and Rillaboom pressuring common checks like Tapu Fini, Landorus-T, Gliscor, and Slowbro. It's important to note that Rillaboom's and Tapu Fini's terrains make Earthquake and Dragon Claw too weak to use, respectively.

STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

On more offensive teams that do not require Mega Charizard X's longevity and defensive utility, you can remove Roost and use both Dragon Claw and Earthquake.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Water-types**: Physically bulky Water-types like Slowbro, Toxapex, and Tapu Fini can take Mega Charizard X's STAB moves with ease and pressure it with their own STAB moves, but they must watch out for the rare Thunder Punch and, in Toxapex's case, Earthquake. Toxapex can also be 2HKOed by +1 Dragon Claw into Earthquake, while Tapu Fini is 2HKOed by +1 Flare Blitz after some chip damage.

**Ground-types**: Landorus-T can weaken Mega Charizard X with Intimidate and threaten it with Earthquake, forcing it to switch. Hippowdon can switch in and force Mega Charizard X out with Earthquake or phaze it, removing its boosts. However, offensive variants of Landorus-T can be OHKOed by Flare Blitz after Stealth Rock, while defensive variants can be easily worn down due to their lack of recovery. Gliscor can also tank one boosted Flare Blitz if it is at full health and KO back with Earthquake in combination with recoil damage.

**Rock-types**: Tyranitar and Mega Diancie can switch in and KO Mega Charizard X with their Rock-type STAB moves, but they have to be careful about Earthquake.

**Stealth Rock**: Charizard's 4x weakness to Stealth Rock prior to Mega Evolving makes it difficult to switch in, and, after Mega Evolving, it gets crippled by all entry hazards.

**Residual Damage**: Entry hazard damage and Toxic from the likes of Toxapex and Heatran reduce Mega Charizard X's longevity, making it more susceptible to being revenge killed. Landorus-T's Rocky Helmet, Ferrothorn's Iron Barbs, Garchomp's Rough Skin, and Flare Blitz do the same. However, these Pokemon cannot switch in on Mega Charizard X's attacks, with the exception of Garchomp if is not running Dragon Claw.

**Revenge Killers**: Ash-Greninja's Water Shuriken, Mega Lopunny's and Mega Medicham's Fake Outs, and Choice Scarf users like Tapu Lele and Landorus-T can revenge kill Mega Charizard X if it gets chipped enough, but they cannot come in safely against its attacks and are outsped after a Dragon Dance.

Mega Charizard X is a dangerous wallbreaker and setup sweeper thanks to its near-unrestited STAB combination after Mega Evolving boosted by Tough Claws, pressuring metagame common Steel- and Grass-types like Magearna, Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, choice locked Kartana and Rillaboom. Flare Blitz deals serious damage to common checks like Gliscor and Offensive Landorus-T who doesn't like to take repeated hits. Dragon Claw is preferable to not be walled by other Dragon Types like Garchomp and Mega Latias, 2HKO the last. Mega Charizard X can sweep weakened teams at +1 outspeeding Choice Scarf users below Base 100 like Landorus-T, Tapu Lele and Hydreigon. Earthquake provides a way to super-effective hit Toxapex, with a good chance to 2HKO Mega Tyranitar after Stealth Rocks and always OHKO Heatran Heatran might be better at the beginning of the list, as it completely walls Charizard without Earthquake. Roost is used instead a third attack STAB moves are not coverage moves To recover HP lost by recoil and switching into Stealth Rock and check Grass types like Rillaboom more easily. A Jolly nature with max investment You don't need to explain why you use 252 EVs in a stat in a simple spread like this is better to outspeed bellow 100 base Speed like Tapu Lele, Nothing wrong with Landorus-T here, this is just to avoid repetition Hydreigon, and Kyurem and Kommo-o 252+ Speed Kommo-o is slower than Adamant Charizard prior to setup, as well as Choice Scarf Landorus-T with a boost.

Partners that appreciate the removal of Steel types like Rillaboom, Tapu Lele and Tapu Koko are good teammates to Mega Charizard X because they can pressure some of his checks like Slowbro, Tapu Fini and Toxapex. Due to 4X weakness to Stealth Rock prior Mega Evolving, entry hazard removers like Zapdos, Corviknight and Gliscor Gliscor doesn't have Defog recommended in its set. I would put Tapu Fini here instead. are mandatory partners. Gliscor can also set Stealth Rock to chip some Mega Charizard X answers like Tapu Fini and check Toxapex. Gliscor should go after the Defog section, if it still needs to be here, as it's not a Defog user now. Fini can also protect Mega Charizard X from status being more easily to setup Dragon Dance. Due to Ground weakness after Mega Evolving, checks to Ground types like Rillaboom, Tangrowth and Corviknight make good teammates with the latter providing Defog support, Rillaboom pressuring Tapu Fini, Landorus-T, Gliscor and Slowbro, common checks to Mega Charizard X. It's important to note that Mega Charizard X can't use Earthquake if Rillaboom is in the team, and Dragon Claw can't be used if Tapu Fini is in the team due to obvious reasons. Obvious to you and me, but not necessarily to a new player.

Thunder Punch could be used to lure Bulky Water types like Slowbro, Toxapex It's hit by Earthquake already and Tapu Fini, 2HKO the latter and OHKO Pelipper in rain teams The fact that Pelipper is used in rain doesn't affect this after mininal chip.
On more offensive teams that do not require Mega Charizard X's longevity and defensive utility, you can remove Roost and use both Dragon Claw and Earthquake. if checking Grass and Steel types is not a concern.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Water types**. Physically bulky Water types like Slowbro, Toxapex and Tapu Fini can take its STAB moves with ease and pressure Mega Charizard X with their own STAB and status. Charizard is immune to burn and Tapu Fini and Slowbro don't usually run other status moves. They must watch out for the rare Thunder Punch, and in Toxapex's case, Earthquake, however.

**Ground-types and Rock-types**. Landorus-T for example can switch in any of their attacks and OHKO back with Earthquake, but he doesn't like to take repeated hits due to lack of recovery. Hippowdon could go here, a less easily worn down Ground-type that also phazes out Charizard to remove its boost Mega Diancie and Tyranitar can threaten with his STAB but they have to be careful about Earthquake.

**Stealth Rock and other residual damage**. 4X weakness to Stealth Rock prior to Mega Evolving makes difficult Charizard entries and after Mega evolving it gets crippled by all forms of entry hazards making defog support always necessary. Team support doesn't belong here. Ferrothorn Iron Barbs, Rocky Helmet from what? Not Ferrothorn. and Garchomp Rough Skin weakens Mega Charizard X HP into range of Priority like Ash-Greninja Water Shuriken. Protean Greninja doesn't run Water Shuriken.

We want to refrain from using gender-specific terms

according to the standards here;
  • You may not use the pronouns "who", "he", and "she" instead of "which", "that", and "it" to refer to Pokemon; stick with genderless pronouns.

This is scattered throughout this analyses. Adding in "his" and "him." Therefore, I would like you to change them to the appropriate word and I would like you to take a look at the GP standards. There are a few instances of Grass type or Dragon-Type. The correct way is Fire-type. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns, and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.

Mega Charizard X is a dangerous wallbreaker and setup sweeper thanks to its near-unrestited near-unresisted STAB combination after Mega Evolving boosted further boosted by due to Tough Claws, along with a great boosting move in Dragon Dance. Its typing lets it switch in on and force out pressuring common Steel- and Grass-types such as Corviknight, Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, Kartana the sd set nukes u so this is a bad mention, Tangrowth and Rillaboom, granting it setup opportunities. Flare Blitz deals serious damage to common Ground-types such as Gliscor and Landorus-T which doesn´t who do not like to take repeated hits. Dragon Claw is preferable to not be walled by other Dragon-types such as Garchomp and Mega Latias, 2HKOing the latter. However, it leaves it walled by Heatran and more easily checked by Mega Diance and Tyranitar. At +1, Mega Charizard X outspeed Choice Scarf users below Base 100 such as Landorus-T, Tapu Lele and Hydreigon. remove the drei mention as scarf drei is bad, and move this sentence to just after the 2nd sentence Earthquake provides a way to hit Toxapex and Steel-types weak to it such as Excadrill and Magnezone without taking recoil from Flare Blitz, while also OHKOing Heatran, and 2HKOing Mega Tyranitar after Stealth Rock. Without Earthquake Mega Diancie, Toxapex, and Mega Tyranitar can take hits more easily and Heatran completely walls him. Moved to after the dragon claw Point Thunder Punch could be used to hit bulky Water-types such as Slowbro, Tapu Fini and Pelipper more effectively, but Earthquake or Dragon Claw is preferable because they hit the majority of the metagame neutrally. Roost is used to recover HP lost by recoil and to switch in to Stealth Rock and residual damage, letting it check Grass-types like Rillaboom more easily. A Jolly nature is better to outspeed Pokemon below 100 base Speed like Landorus-T, Tapu Lele, Hydreigon, and Kyurem and the rare Adamant Mega Medicham.

Mega Charizard X functions as a early- or mid-game wallbreaker, that can take advantage of KOing Steel-types. Steel and Grass-types such as Corviknight, Mega Scizor, Tangrowth, Amoonguss and Ferrothorn, which benifits benefiting Pokemon like Rillaboom, Tapu Lele, Kartana and Tapu Koko. They are also good teammates to Mega Charizard X because they can pressure some of his its checks like Slowbro, Tapu Fini, Toxapex, Tyranitar and Mega Diancie. Mega Scizor, Tangrowth and Rillaboom can also be used as setup fodder since they can't do much against him due to Knock Off imunity and resistance to all their Steel, Bug and Grass STAB moves. I don't see how this is relavent here, it already mentioned in the earlier para Due to 4X weakness to Stealth Rock prior Mega Evolving, entry hazard removers such as Zapdos, Corviknight and Tapu Fini are mandatory partners. Stealth Rock setters like Garchomp, Clefable and Gliscor pair well with Mega Charizard X because they can chip some answers with Stealth Rock like Tapu Fini, Landorus-T and Toxapex making letting it sweep more easily. Due to Ground weakness after Mega Evolving, checks to Ground types like Rillaboom, Tangrowth and Corviknight make good teammates with the latter providing Defog support, while Rillaboom can pressuring pressure common checks to Mega Charizard X like Tapu Fini, Landorus-T, Gliscor and Slowbro, common checks to Mega Charizard X. It's important to note that Mega Charizard X can't use Earthquake if Rillaboom is in the team, and Dragon Claw can't be used if Tapu Fini is in the team due to their Terrains weakening Earthquake and Dragon Moves respectively.

**Bulky Water-types**. Physically bulky Water-types like Slowbro, Toxapex and Tapu Fini can take its STAB moves with ease and pressure Mega Charizard X with their own STAB. But they must watch out for the rare Thunder Punch and in Toxapex case, Earthquake. mention that Phys Toxapex can be 2hkod by +1 dragon claw into +0 dragon claw

**Ground-types**. Landorus-T can Intimidate and threaten it with Earthquake, forcing it to switch. Hippowdon can switch in and force Mega Charizard X out with Earthquake, as well as phasing him it out, removing it's boosts. Mention here that glis can 1v1 from full health, but it will lose if it has been slightly chipped and that Lando can be worn down easily and offensive variants Can be OHKOd by flare blitz after rocks

**Rock-types**. Tyranitar and Mega Diancie can switch in and KO Mega Charizard X with their Rock STAB moves, but they have to be careful about Earthquake.

**Residual Damage**. 4X weakness to Stealth Rock prior to Mega Evolving make it difficult to Charizard switch in and after Mega Evolving it gets crippled by all forms of entry hazards. Toxic from the likes of Landorus-T, Slowbro slowbro dosent run Toxic, and Lando is just gonna EQ u anyway, Toxapex and Heatran reduces Mega Charizard X longevity making it more susceptible to being revenge killed. Iron Barbs Ferrothorn and Garchomp's Rough Skin weakens his HP into range of priority like Ash-Greninja's Water Shuriken and faster Pokemon like Mega Lopunny, Garchomp and Tapu Koko. Mega Charizard X is a dangerous wallbreaker and setup sweeper thanks to its near-unresisted STAB combination that is further boosted by Tough Claws, along with a great boosting move in Dragon Dance. Its typing lets it switch in on and force out common Steel- and Grass-types such as Corviknight, Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, Tangrowth and Rillaboom, granting it setup opportunities. At +1, Mega Charizard X outspeed Choice Scarf users below Base 100 such as Landorus-T and Tapu Lele. Move this to after the first sentence Flare Blitz deals serious damage to common Ground-types such as Gliscor and Landorus-T who do not like to take repeated hits. Dragon Claw is preferable to not be walled by other Dragon-types such as Garchomp and Mega Latias. However, it leaves it walled by Heatran and more easily checked by Mega Diancie and Tyranitar. Earthquake provides a way to hit Toxapex and Steel-types weak to it such as Excadrill and Magnezone without taking recoil from Flare Blitz, while also OHKOing Heatran and Mega Diance after a Dragon Dance, and 2HKOing Mega Tyranitar after Stealth Rock. Thunder Punch could be used to hit bulky Water-types such as Slowbro, Tapu Fini and Pelipper more effectively, but Earthquake or Dragon Claw is preferable because they hit the majority of the metagame neutrally. Roost is used to recover HP lost by recoil and residual damage, letting it check Grass-types like Rillaboom more easily. A Jolly nature is better to outspeed Pokemon below 100 base Speed like Landorus-T, Tapu Lele, Hydreigon and Kyurem.

Mega Charizard X functions as a early- or mid-game wallbreaker, that can take advantage of Steel and Grass-types such as Corviknight, Mega Scizor, Tangrowth, Amoonguss and Ferrothorn, which benifits Pokemon like Rillaboom, Tapu Lele, Kartana and Tapu Koko. They are also good teammates to Mega Charizard X because they can pressure some of its checks like Slowbro, Tapu Fini, Toxapex, Tyranitar and Mega Diancie. Due to its 4X weakness to Stealth Rock prior Mega Evolving, entry hazard removers such as Zapdos, Corviknight and Tapu Fini are mandatory partners. Stealth Rock setters like Garchomp, Clefable and Gliscor pair well with Mega Charizard X because they can chip some of its answers with Stealth Rock like Tapu Fini, Landorus-T and Toxapex letting it sweep more easily. Garchomp can also break through Landorus-T and Gliscor with its Z-Move to make help Mega Charizard X sweep. Tapu Fini can also protect Mega Charizard X from status through Misty Surge, giving it more opportunities to setup Dragon Dance. Its typing lets it switch in on and force out common Steel- and Grass-types such as Corviknight, Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, Tangrowth, (AC) and Rillaboom, granting it setup opportunities. Flare Blitz deals serious damage to common Ground-types such as Gliscor and Landorus-T who do not like to take repeated hits. Dragon Claw is preferable in the second moveslot to not be walled by other Dragon-types such as Garchomp and Mega Latias. Mega Charizard X functions as a early- or mid-game wallbreaker (RC) that can take advantage of Steel- (added hyphen) and Grass-types such as Corviknight, Mega Scizor, Tangrowth, Amoonguss, (AC) and Ferrothorn, which benifits benefits Pokemon like Rillaboom, Tapu Lele, Kartana, (AC) and Tapu Koko. (removed mons that only help by setting sr bc that applies to every offensive pokemon) Tapu Fini can also protect Mega Charizard X from status through Misty Surge, Terrain, giving it more opportunities to set up (was "setup") Dragon Dance. Garchomp can set Stealth Rock and break through Landorus-T and Gliscor with its Z-Move to help Mega Charizard X sweep. Due to its Ground weakness after Mega Evolving, checks to Ground-types (added hyphen) like Rillaboom, Tangrowth, (AC) and Corviknight make good teammates, (AC) with the latter also providing Defog support (RC) while Rillaboom can pressure common checks to Mega Charizard X and Rillaboom pressuring common checks like Tapu Fini, Landorus-T, Gliscor, (AC) and Slowbro. It's important to note that Mega Charizard X can't use Earthquake if Rillaboom is in the team, and Dragon Claw can't be used if Tapu Fini is in the team due to their Terrains weakening Earthquake and Dragon Moves respectively. Rillaboom's and Tapu Fini's terrains make Earthquake and Dragon Claw too weak to use, respectively.

1/1, just be careful when implementing because there are a decent amount of little things

After talking with The Dragon Master, I added more to the Stealth Rock mention.

this is the section that I'm talking about.
Due to its 4X Charizard's 4x weakness to Stealth Rock prior to Mega Evolving, entry hazard removers such as Zapdos, Corviknight, (AC) and Tapu Fini are mandatory partners. Stealth Rock setters like Garchomp, Clefable and Gliscor pair well with Mega Charizard X because they can chip some of its answers with Stealth Rock like Tapu Fini, Landorus-T and Toxapex letting it sweep more easily. Garchomp can also break through Landorus-T and Gliscor with its Z-Move to help Mega Charizard X sweep.

Here's how the section should be written now:

Due to Charizard's 4x weakness to Stealth Rock prior to Mega Evolving, entry hazard removers such as Zapdos, Corviknight, and Tapu Fini are mandatory partners. Tapu Fini can also protect Mega Charizard X from status through Misty Terrain, giving it more opportunities to set up Dragon Dance.
