As a bulky Water-type, Mantine has a valuable niche on balance teams, providing Defog support and a Ground-type immunity over competition like Milotic and Gastrodon. However, it struggles to compete with Rotom-W, which can perform these same roles without being overly passive thanks to Volt Switch, and unlike its competition, Mantine is unable to defensively check Gigalith and Rhyperior due to its Flying typing. Regardless, its great defensive stats, longevity, and useful defensive typing paired with Heavy-Duty Boots allow Mantine to safely remove hazards while serving as an effective switch-in to offensive threats such as Escavalier, Flygon, Lucario, and Golisopod. Notably, unlike Gastrodon and Milotic, Mantine's Flying typing allows it to better take on non-Stone Edge variants of Swords Dance Cobalion. Toxic is Mantine's best option in the last moveslot, pressuring switch-ins such as Rotom-W and Heliolisk, but Haze is also an option for teams that need a more reliable check to Pokemon like Swords Dance Cobalion, Doublade, and Incineroar. Air Slash can also be used to better its matchup against Roserade, Toxicroak, and Celebi. However, it is situational and can make Mantine more passive overall. Mantine may also choose to run a more mixed defensive set with an EV spread of 252 HP, 204 Defense, and 52 Special Defense EVs alongside a Calm nature, allowing it to better take hits from special attackers like Chandelure and Gardevoir while still avoiding a 2HKO from Cobalion's +2 Close Combat.

As Mantine is vulnerable to Rock-types like Rhyperior and Gigalith, it greatly appreciates teammates that can effectively check them. Celebi and Roserade are notable examples, as their Grass typings and offensive options complement Mantine well, being able to immediately punish attackers that Mantine lures in such as Heliolisk and Rotom-W. In return, Mantine checks Escavalier for Celebi and Roserade, which allows for them to more effectively function. Bronzong is also a good partner because Mantine pressures checks such as Escavalier and Incineroar, while Bronzong can set Stealth Rock and handle Pokemon like Roserade, Gardevoir, Gigalith, and Rhyperior. Steel-types such as Escavalier and Copperajah pair well with Mantine due to their vulnerability to Spikes and fantastic defensive synergy with Mantine. Rock-types such as Gigalith Rhyperior also pair well with Mantine for the same reasons, and they can cover for Mantine's Electric-type weakness and check common switch-ins to it like Toxtricity. Noivern appreciates Mantine running Defog so it can use another moveslot in its place, and it can offensively threaten common Mantine checks like Heliolisk, Rotom-W, Roserade, and Celebi. Lastly, Sylveon can provide Wish and Heal Bell support while checking Haxorus and Fighting-type wallbreakers like Machamp and Pangoro; in return, Mantine can handle common Sylveon checks such as Doublade, Darmanitan, Chandelure, and Cobalion.

As a bulky water, Mantine has a valuable niche in providing Defog support and a Ground immunity. Its great, natural defensive stats, longevity, solid utility, and useful defensive typing allow for it to safely Defog away hazards while serving as an effective switch-in to offensive threats such as Darmanitan, Flygon, Lucario, and Golisopod. Thanks to its incredible, natural special bulk and access to Roost, Mantine's longevity and consistency in hazard removal is a valuable asset to Balance oriented teams. In order to optimize Mantine's niche, this set maximizes Mantine's physical defense and HP, allowing for it to act as a flexible switch-in "flexible" isn't really specific and this isn't super needed anyway. Roost is a necessity for Mantine to maximize its longevity and potential as a defensive switch-in. The last slot is a toss up between Haze and Toxic depending on what utility Mantine needs to provide for its teammates. Haze can allow for Mantine to disarm the opposing Pokemon's stat boosts after soaking a hit, and Toxic allows for it to put Pokemon on a timer--namely offensive switch-ins, Rotom-Wash, and Sylveon--on the switch. this is worded pretty weirdly, just say something like "Toxic allows Mantine to put Pokemon like Rotom-Wash, Sylveon, and Heliolisk on a timer as they try to switch into it."

mention air slash to threaten grass types like celebi and rose bc otherwise they wall you but explain that it makes you way more passive overall

Due to its Water immunity, Ground immunity, and utility that it as a Defogger provides, it partners best with Pokemon that benefit from removal of hazards and longevity. "Mantine's best partners are those that benefit from its ability to clear the field of entry hazards" flows a bit better here. it's also kinda fluff so you don't necessarily have to include it. Celebi, Roserade, Bronzong, Gigalith, and Rhyperior too many examples, cut this down to giga/rhyp imo since you have a point on celebi and rose further down not only appreciate Mantine's bulk and typing, but also Mantine's hazard removal. Additionally, these Pokemon largely cover for Mantine's Electric and Rock resistances weaknesses, and can capitalize on check common switch-ins that Mantine lures such as Rotom-Wash Toxtricity (neither rhyp nor gigalith checks rotom - i know you meant celebi/rose here, just fixing the example) or Heliolisk. Celebi and Roserade's Grass typings and offensive options are a great compliment to Mantine's, as they are able to more immediately punish breakers that Mantine lures like Heliolisk and Rotom-W. Celebi can Nasty Plot on a forced switch or get valuable chip damage on opposing defensive cores with its great coverage, while Roserade can more consistently check opposing Electric/Rock types that threaten Mantine. The latter three partners are great compliments to Mantine's Defog as well, as they can set Stealth Rocks securely upon Mantine switching out this doesn't fit anymore, but you should add a point about bronzong here for both rocks and its ability to check super strong special attackers that mantine can't handle like sylveon and gardevoir as well as better checking roserade

mention noivern as a mon that can offensively threaten a lot of things mantine struggles with, like heliolisk/rotom/tox/rose/celebi (don't list all of them) and it also appreciates that mantine running defog means it doesn't have to
mention other steels like escav/rajah, they have amazing defensive synergy with mantine and are vulnerable to spikes and stuff. they also check rose which mantine hates if it doesn't have air slash

Mention here how it fits best on Balance teams for the utility it can provide.

The Celebi comment doesn't have much relevance to Mantine at all and the second statement isn't entirely true when Celebi pivots into Rhyp and Giga better than Rose can because it actually resists EQ and has more reliable recovery (Synthesis in Sand hinders Rose for example). The latter three partners are great compliments to Mantine's Defog as well, as they can set Stealth Rocks securely upon Mantine switching out this doesn't fit anymore, but you should add a point about bronzong here for both rocks and its ability to check super strong special attackers that mantine can't handle like sylveon and gardevoir as well as better checking roserade. I would mention how Bronzong also appreciates Mantine's ability to pressure Escavalier and Incineroar despite its vulnerability to Knock Off.

Tie this in after the Bronzong comment

I want to see a mention of Sylveon because the two synergize well. Sylveon provides Heal Bell and Wish support for Mantine and checks Haxorus and strong Fighters like Panda and Champ. Mantine checks Chandelure, Darm, Coba, Doub etc. that Sylv is threatened by.

As a bulky water, Mantine has a valuable niche in providing Defog support and a Ground immunity over competition like Milotic and Gastrodon; however, it struggles to compete with Rotom-W which can perform these same roles without being overtly passive thanks to Volt Switch. Make sure to mention how because of this, its a Water-type that can't switch into Rhyperior/Gigalith unlike its competition due to its Rock-type weakness. Its great, natural defensive stats, longevity, and useful defensive typing paired with Heavy-Duty Boots allow for it to safely Defog away hazards while serving as an effective switch-in to offensive threats such as Cobalion, Darmanitan, Escavalier (Its definitely a good check to Darmanitan but it needs to watch out for Rock Slide, and Escavalier is one of the big ones here that you are dealing with and this list is already quite long). Flygon, Lucario, and Golisopod. I'd put more emphasis on how its typing makes it a much better check to non-Stone Edge SD Cobalion than Milotic/Gastrodon too Roost is a necessity for Mantine to maximize its longevity and potential as a defensive switch-in. no need to explain obvious stuff like this. The last slot is a toss up between Toxic and Haze depending on what utility Mantine needs to provide for its teammates. Toxic allows for it to put opposing Pokemon such as Rotom-Wash, Heliolisk, and Sylveon on a timer when switching into it, while Haze allows for it to combat set-up from Pokemon like Escavalier, SD Escavalier isn't really a thing atm Incineroar, Cobalion, and Doublade. Reword this whole bit on Toxic vs Haze to more accurately suggest that you should normally be running Toxic, and then explain when running Haze is a better idea. Air Slash is additionally an option to better its matchup against Roserade, Toxicroak, and Celebi, however, it is situational and can make Mantine more passive overall.

Mantine's utility is best used on Balance archetypes thanks to the niche that it as a Defogger can provide. Gigalith and Rhyperior not only appreciate Mantine's bulk and typing, but also Mantine's hazard removal. These Pokemon can largely cover for Mantine's Electric and Rock the main Rock-type attacks are coming from theese two themselves though weaknesses, and check common switch-ins that Mantine lures like Toxtricity or Heliolisk Be more careful about how you word this bit, since Rhyperior isn't a check to Heliolisk. Celebi and Roserade's Grass typings and offensive options are a great compliment to Mantine's, as they are able to more immediately punish breakers that Mantine lures, like Heliolisk or Rotom-W. Mention how they appreciate Mantine checking Escavalier for them. Mantine partners well with Bronzong as a Stealth Rock setter thanks to its ability to pressure checks such as Escavalier and Incineroar, while Bronzong is better at handling Pokemon like Roserade and Gardevoir; however, Mantine still shares Bronzong's Knock Off vulnerability. Escavalier and Copperajah are both great options as Steel partners for Mantine due to their vulnerability to Spikes and their fantastic defensive synergy with Mantine. Noivern is also a strong option as a partner, as Mantine running Defog allows Noivern to use another valuable moveslot. Noivern is also able to offensively threaten common Mantine checks like Heliolisk, Rotom-W, Roserade, and Celebi. Lastly, Sylveon is a fantastic partner as well, since it can provide Wish/Heal Bell support and check Haxorus/Fighting-type breakers that Mantine otherwise is overwhelmed by such as?; Mantine, in turn, can handle common Sylveon checks such as Doublade, Darmanitan, Chandelure, and Cobalion.

Definitely need to bring up in this team options prose about how Mantine is a bulky Water-type that struggles with Gigalith and Rhyperior, and therefore other checks to them should be ran on a team with Mantine. You've got decent options littered around this analysis with Celebi and Bronzong already, just try and incorporate this more.

As a bulky water, Mantine has a valuable niche in providing Defog support and a Ground immunity over competition like Milotic and Gastrodon; however, it struggles to compete with Rotom-W which can perform these same roles without being overtly passive thanks to Volt Switch, and it struggles to safely switch in to is unable to defensively check (you do offensively check Rhyp if you get it in safely sure, but you rely totally on burning Gigalith, so i wouldn't limit this to just commenting on safely switching into) Gigalith/Rhyperior unlike its competition as a result of its Flying type. However, its great, natural defensive stats, longevity, and useful defensive typing paired with Heavy-Duty Boots allow for it to safely Defog away hazards while serving as an effective switch-in to offensive threats such as Cobalion, Escavalier, Flygon, Lucario, and Golisopod. Though, unlike Gastrodon/Milotic, Mantine's Flying typing allows for it to better take on Non-Stone Edge variants of SD Cobalion.

While the rest of its options are fairly standard, Mantine's last move slot is a toss up between Toxic and Haze depending on what utility Mantine needs to provide for its teammates. Toxic allows for it to put opposing Pokemon such as Rotom-Wash, Heliolisk, and Sylveon on a timer when switching into it, while Haze allows for it to combat set-up from Pokemon like Incineroar, Cobalion, and Doublade. While Toxic is the more preferred option for its ability to provide Mantine with a more consistent way to punish switch-ins, Haze is more optimal for teams that struggle to combat fast set-up sweepers such as the aforementioned Cobalion.

you can cut down this bit quite a lot by just writing something akin to,

Toxic is Mantine's best option in the last slot, pressuring switch-ins such as Rotom-Wash and Heliolisk, however Haze is an option on teams that need a more reliable check to Pokemon like Swords Dance Cobalion, Doublade, or Incineroar.

Air Slash is also an option to better its matchup against Roserade, Toxicroak, and Celebi, however, it is situational and can make Mantine more passive overall

Mantine's utility is best used on Balance archetypes thanks to the niche that it as a Defogger can provide. you should be a bit more specific about the niche it's providing as a Defogger here, some things Balance teams can appreciate is solid checks to Escavalier and SD Coba, so talk about the niche it provides by compressing this stuff with being a bulky water and defogger. However, as a result of Mantine's vulnerability to Rock types such as Rhyperior and Gigalith, Mantine greatly appreciates team support from Pokemon that can more effectively check them. Celebi and Roserade's Grass typings and offensive options are a great compliment to Mantine's, as they are able to more immediately punish breakers that Mantine lures, like Heliolisk or Rotom-W, as well as threaten Gigalith and Rhyperior. Additionally, Mantine checks Escavalier for Celebi and Roserade, which allow for them to more effectively break. Mantine also partners well with Bronzong as a Stealth Rock setter thanks to its ability to pressure checks such as Escavalier and Incineroar, talk about its ability to defensively check Gigalith/Rhyperior too, which Mantine can't do. while Bronzong is better at handling Pokemon like Roserade and Gardevoir; however, Mantine still shares Bronzong's Knock Off vulnerability. This feels not too important and fairly obvious to mention, and this is getting quite long. Escavalier and Copperajah are also both great options as Steel partners for Mantine due to their vulnerability to Spikes and their fantastic defensive synergy with Mantine. Gigalith and Rhyperior also not only appreciate Mantine's bulk and typing, but also Mantine's hazard removal. These Pokemon can cover for Mantine's Electric weakness, and check common switch-ins that Mantine lures like Toxtricity. As a bulky wWater-type, (too informal) Mantine has a valuable niche on balance teams in providing Defog support and a Ground immunity over competition like Milotic and Gastrodon.(AP);(RSC) hHowever, it struggles to compete with Rotom-W, (AC) which can perform these same roles without being overtly passive (overt = apparent, obvious, etc.) thanks to Volt Switch, and unlike its competition, Mantine is unable to defensively check Gigalith/ and Rhyperior (too informal) unlike its competition as a result of due to its Flying type. However, its great,(RC) natural defensive stats, longevity, and useful defensive typing paired with Heavy-Duty Boots allow for it to safely Defog away hazards (there might be some GP precendent I don't know about that disagrees with me, but I think using Defog as a verb here is a touch informal—maybe consider something like "consistently clear [entry] hazards with Defog"?) while serving as an effective switch-in to offensive threats such as Cobalion, (mentioned in a the next sentence) Escavalier, Flygon, Lucario, and Golisopod. Though, Notably, ("though" reads like "in spite of this" which is obviously not what you were going for) unlike Gastrodon/(RS) and Milotic, Mantine's Flying typing type allows for it to better take on Nnon-Stone Edge variants of Swords Dance Cobalion. Toxic is Mantine's best option in the last slot, pressuring switch-ins such as Rotom-Wash and Heliolisk, however but Haze is also an option on teams that need a more reliable check to Pokemon like Swords Dance Cobalion, Doublade, orand Incineroar. Air Slash is can also an option be used (repetitive) to better its matchup against Roserade, Toxicroak, and Celebi,(RC).(AP) (comma splice) hHowever, it is situational and can make Mantine more passive overall.

Mantine's utility is best used on Balance archetypes teams thanks to the its niche that it as a Defogger can provide; not only is it a bulky wWater-type and Defogger, but it can effectively check SD Cobalion and Escavalier, which Balance teams appreciate. (moved "on balance" upwards; the rest is all prominently stated prior to this in largly identical form) However, as a result of As Mantine's vulnerability is vulnerable to Rock types such aslike Rhyperior and Gigalith, Mantine it greatly appreciates team support from Pokemon teammates that can more effectively check them. Celebi and Roserade's are notable examples, as their Grass typings and offensive options are a great compliment to Mantine's well, as they arebeing able to more immediately punish other breakers (qualify this—wallbreakers, stallbreakers, balance breakers etc. If they can't fit into one neat category, change to "Pokemon" or "attackers" ("breakers" on its own is somewhat informal)) that Mantine lures, likesuch as Heliolisk orand Rotom-W,(RC) as well as threaten Gigalith and Rhyperior. (already implied) AdditionallyIn return, Mantine checks Escavalier for Celebi and Roserade, which allows for them to more effectively break. (qualify this or consider "function"/something similar as an alternative if you think it'd be more appropriate) Mantine also partners well with Bronzong is also a good partner as a Stealth Rock setter thanks to its ability to because Mantine pressures checks such as Escavalier and Incineroar,(RC) while Bronzong provides Stealth Rock and is better at handling can handle Pokemon like Roserade,(AC) and Gardevoir, while also serving as a good defensive check to Gigalith and Rhyperior. Speaking of Steel-types, Escavalier and Copperajah are also both great options as Steel partners for pair well with Mantine due to their vulnerability to Spikes and their fantastic defensive synergy with Mantine,(AC) as do Rock-types like Gigalith and Rhyperior. These Pokemon The latter two can cover for Mantine's Electric weakness,(RC) and check common Mantine switch-ins that Mantine lures like Toxtricity. Noivern is also a strong option as a partner, as appreciates Mantine running Defog,(AC) as this allows Noivern to use another valuable moveslot in its place, and can.(RP) Noivern is also able to offensively threaten common Mantine checks like Heliolisk, Rotom-W, Roserade, and Celebi. Lastly, Sylveon is a fantastic partner as well, since it can provide Wish/(RS) and Heal Bell support and while checking Haxorus/(RS) and Fighting-type wallbreakers like Machamp and Pangoro that Mantine is otherwise is overwhelmed by like Machamp or Pangoro; Mantine, in turn, can handle common Sylveon checks such as Doublade, Darmanitan, Chandelure, and Cobalion.
Make sure to read over your writing before marking as GP ready in future; there were a lot of little things that I shouldn't have needed to correct in there (SD Cobalion, Gastrodon/Milotic, Wish/Heal Bell, Haxorus/Fighting-type breakers etc.). Also don't forget to post in the GP queue thread !!!

Be careful to not use similar/identical phrases repeatedly. The reason paragraph 2 is so colourful is because I reworded and/or removed a lot of these (especially in the team options paragraph) because it is verbose and interrupts word flow, making the text read like a series of bullet points rather than a cohesive paragraph. Details like this often aren't even really necessary, as the reader will be contextually clued in to the fact that (e.g.) Noivern is mentioned because it's a good partner.

I've implemented the AM check, for whoever opts to do the grammar check. Thank you for catching my errors; I can be fairly repetitive at times so I appreciate you clearing the cues :>

As a bulky Water-type, Mantine has a valuable niche on balance teams, (AC) providing Defog support and a Ground-type immunity over competition like Milotic and Gastrodon. However, it struggles to compete with Rotom-W, which can perform these same roles without being overly passive thanks to Volt Switch, and unlike its competition, Mantine is unable to defensively check Gigalith and Rhyperior due to its Flying type typing. However Regardless, its great defensive stats, longevity, and useful defensive typing paired with Heavy-Duty Boots allow it Mantine to safely remove hazards while serving as an effective switch-in to offensive threats such as Escavalier, Flygon, Lucario, and Golisopod. Notably, unlike Gastrodon and Milotic, Mantine's Flying type typing allows for it to better take on non-Stone Edge variants of Swords Dance Cobalion. Toxic is Mantine's best option in the last moveslot, pressuring switch-ins such as Rotom-Wash and Heliolisk, but Haze is also an option on for teams that need a more reliable check to Pokemon like Swords Dance Cobalion, Doublade, and Incineroar. Air Slash can also be used to better its matchup against Roserade, Toxicroak, and Celebi. However, it is situational and can make Mantine more passive overall. Mantine may also choose to run a more mixed defensive set, with 252 HP, 204 Defense, and 52 Special Defense EVs with an EV spread of 252 HP / 204 Def / 52 SpD alongside a Calm nature, allowing it to better take hits from special attackers like Chandelure and Gardevoir, (RC) while still avoiding a 2HKO from Cobalion's +2 Close Combat.

As Mantine is vulnerable to Rock-types (AH) like Rhyperior and Gigalith, it greatly appreciates teammates that can effectively check them. Celebi and Roserade are notable examples, as their Grass typings and offensive options compliment complement Mantine well, being able to immediately punish attackers that Mantine lures, (RC) in such as Heliolisk and Rotom-W. In return, Mantine checks Escavalier for Celebi and Roserade, which allows for them to more effectively function. Bronzong is also a good partner because Mantine pressures checks such as Escavalier and Incineroar, (AC) while Bronzong provides can set Stealth Rock and can handle Pokemon like Roserade, Gardevoir, Gigalith, and Rhyperior. Speaking of Steel-types, (RC) Steel-types such as (try to avoid casual language in analyses) Escavalier and Copperajah pair well with Mantine due to their vulnerability to Spikes and fantastic defensive synergy with Mantine, as do Rock types like Gigalith and Rhyperior. The latter two. (AP) Rock-types such as Gigalith Rhyperior also pair well with Mantine for the same reasons, and they can cover for Mantine's Electric-type weakness, (RC) and check common Mantine switch-ins to it like Toxtricity (the original wording was pretty confusing so i reworded it so it's more clear, though if i got something wrong just let me know). Noivern appreciates Mantine running Defog, as this allows Noivern to so it can use another moveslot in its place, and it can offensively threaten common Mantine checks like Heliolisk, Rotom-W, Roserade, and Celebi. Lastly, Sylveon can provide Wish and Heal Bell support while checking Haxorus/ and Fighting-type wallbreakers like Machamp or and Pangoro; Mantine, in turn, (RC) in return, (AC) Mantine can handle common Sylveon checks such as Doublade, Darmanitan, Chandelure, and Cobalion.
