League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

That reminds me... I was playing GP earlier and I ulted Baron as I had a feeling they were doing it and was guessing at it's HP level (Enemy Oracle's = No wards :frowney faic:). When vision came up from the ult, 5 of them were doing it and it was around 45% health. So I thought "Ah, fuck, too early..." but instead of backing off a bit and waiting my ult out, the enemy team increased their DPS on Baron and their jungler blew Smite early like a bitch and I got a free Baron steal from across the map. I then immediately pressed shift + enter and typed "Wat." to express my utmost confusion.

so out of these guys, i no longer regularly play master yi, nunu, shen or veigar.

i'd say that's a pretty good selection.

Sigh, still can't play cause of MCAT prep. I really miss LoL.

On a good note, the Pantheon changes are coming pretty soon, so I'll finally be able to play my beloved Spartan.

What I come back to LoL, I plan to main Kayle (if she's good after the remake) and just get really good at her. Since Kayle is the first champ I played, she means a lot to me.

For my jungle, I'll probably play someone besides Udyr or Yi, since I'm kinda tired of them. Maybe if Olaf returns to viability I'll play him. If not, I might just go back to Udyr.

For my sidelane character, I'll play Support Kayle if the build is viable. But most games I'll just play Alistar as usual.

Oh dear, didn't notice this thread existed.

Add me; CitizenV. I main Garem and Nasus like a boss. By the way mtr, Pantheon changes? Source? That guy had always needed a little buff to be great, especially his ulti.

I also love how they made Vayne free to play, saved me 6300 RP to find out how shit she is.

oh my god had 5 losing games in a row yesterday. nobody was at fault, just been heavily outpicked and out-team comped. These were all 3v3 matches btw since I never do summoners r. anymore
1 of the matches were up against Leona for very first time, I noticed she had mana problems throughout the game and that she was exceptionally tough to take down early and late game (of course, tank) but didn't do enough damage to team
tried to play kog maw in some of them but failed horribly. Xin zhao focused me and I always melted in 2 secs, it seems I can't play any other characters as well as renekton anymore!

dont play carries like kog maw in 3v3, these are the best 3v3 champions

singed (poison deters chasers and fling is just op, hard to kill )
nunu (amazing jungle + roam capabilities, hard to kill)
rumble (ridiculous early game aoe power, hard to kill)
mundo (great laning, considerable aoe damage and hard to kill)
tryndamere (huge early crits, wall jumping)
poppy (abuses walls for massive damage, hard to kill)
mordekaiser (pushes waves hard, considerable aoe damage, hard to kill)
jarvan (amazing gap closer, cataclysm, wall jumping, hard to kill)
annie (massive, massive aoe damage)
lee sin (amazing jungle, wall jumping, THE KICK)
xin zhao (jungle capabilities, incredible early game ganking potential, good duelist)
renekton (wall jumping, nice aoe damage, hard to kill)
gragas (great aoe damage, minor wall jumping, hard to kill)

i'm sure you see a pattern here

I would ad Blitzcrank and Jax to that list. Blitzcrank because ganking is the name of the game, and with all the thin walls he does it like a boss, plus he does good damage otherwise. Jax is one of the best in TT IMO because the name of the game is Tanky DPS, and Jax owns 1v1 with tanky DPS.

EDIT: Teemo as alright since he's pretty hard to gank AND can control the jungle with shrooms. His blind makes him good in fights too.

And wow, I forgot Shaco. Shaco is great on this map. His JitB's make him awesome at pushing towers because shrubs are beside towers. He's the king of first blood and baiting, and he can escape very easily over the walls.

Yes to Blitzcrank, I can attest to that.

Teemo's mushrooms aren't nearly so good, playing a tanky team the last time we faced a Teemo the mushrooms didn't even hurt us.

JitB baiting is a scrub tactic. It won't work against good players, and Shaco scales horribly in both 5v5 and 3v3.

Jax is always overrated.

Morde is #1 op champ.... got my first ever triple kill playing him today in my first ever match with him. And I had 3x as much CS as the next highest person.

Ridiculous.

Mord is one of those champs that a lot of new players have trouble with but there's nothing OP about him. He's very comparable to Vladimir in that he's good against harassment, farms well, and has no CC, but unlike Vlad he has no nuke so past the laning phase there's really nothing special about him.

VMan7's been patenting a style of Morde play called "go straight AP, get Lich Bane, fuck shit up" where first you go straight AP, then you buy Lich Bane, then you fuck shit up.

Seriously, though, Mordekaiser's one on one burst is incredible. People underestimate Q damage, especially off a Sheen proc. Flash+Ignite and a full combo can take squishies down at 6 with no problem. You can't stop his farm and he's so beefy that it's hard to gank him, and Revolver gives him great lane presence.

Just out of interest, what does he normally run after you get a Lich Bane?

Games usually finish for me around that time and I tend to finish my Gunblade before I get a 6th item. I'm guessing Abyssal.

His Ultimate is probably the most significant "game changer" in the game... Where a lot of times even if you destroy the enemy's carry, the rest of their team still has a chance to win a team fight, if morde gets a successful ghost off on an enemy carry, it's pretty much gg in favor of Morde's team. Having no CC is a pain, but with W and his Ult, you still bring a lot of utility to a team.

The damage on the ult itself is just very low, and pets are very easy to deal with. You might change the outcome of one fight per game with the ult, it's a very "sometimes amazing" effect.

I'm not saying he sucks, but no one at higher levels calls him OP.

Mordekaiser is very frustrating to play against at any ELO, just look at what happened to TSM at Dreamhack when they came up against a great one. It's not that he isn't a viable pick, just that due to his complete lack of CC you really have to focus your team comp around getting the best out of him. At higher level he's more of a counter pick to some champs but he can still zone the hell out of you at any level if he's played right. Not OP, but not a bad champion by any margin.

Enjoying my time with Annie before she gets nerfed into oblivion. Something I've been doing lately, although not in this game because they surrendered by 30 minutes and I don't think they got me below 1/4 health at any point in the game, is build a Guardian's Angel after Deathcap and one other AP item. In closer games what this means is that on the off chance I do die mid team fight, I can usually get revived before the end and get off another cycle of my abilities, often picking up a kill unless my team are stupid and run away once they think it's 4v5/3v4 (this happens so often it's not even funny, is the aura really that hard to spot? Do I have to alert people to my item build throughout the match?).
On top of that, with her shield up, Annie is deceptively bulky. In the match in the screenshot I rushed straight into Zonya's after the Deathcap because I saw all their damage output was AD except for Cho'Gath. On a number of occasions their Yi dropped an exhaust on me and then went in for the kill with his ultimate only to die to my combo before bringing me to below half health. It's really funny how often people underestimate her defences.

well i dont know how you are supposed to build annie, but i usually dont go straight for deathcap, but get rod first (after boots and doran ofc) but that item build order doesnt seem bad. annie is quite fragile without item boosts but if you can take advantage of a team comp flaw sounds cool to me. and GA is awesome for trolling with rammus as well. usually never get to get it because of time but its a fun item

Now that's more like it. I love having a decent team. Makes it easier to carry.

Total derp on my part for not blacking out the names on the right...lawl

Anyone knows why my pc enters sleep mode (and restarts shortly after) when playing LoL. Doesn't happen with other games.

I'm stuck at lvl 25 for like half a year now.

Don't want to Jynx (heheh, Pokemon forums) it yet, but I think my losing Streak is finally over.

10 games of hell that was.

P.S.: I also somehow managed to randomly learn how to play Alistar after sucking with him for 3 games after I bought him, then not touching him for three months.
