I'm so getting this, seeing as I've never played Kirby Superstar (please don't kill me), but it looks amazing.
 
Whaat? I've known about this since it was announced, and have been waiting since. :(

Needs to be released be co-op WiFi yesyes?
 
I'm so buying this even though I have it for the SNES. It's worth it for the portable sound test alone ^^. Btw, will this have 2 player wireless co-op?
 
since my first kirby game was ssb64, I think I need some of this. Crystal shards (64) was my first real kirby game

looking forward to the release!
 
I've heard a lot of great things about Super Star, but never played it.

A long time ago, I saw the title "Kirby" as a game being released in the future, to the GameCube. Never saw anything about it afterwards. Does anyone know about this?
 
Air Ride is the only GCN Kirby game I know of. It was cool even though all you did was fly and race.

Kirby Wii, now that will be exciting.
 
Yeah, it will take a year or so to arrive here.

Unless you mean it's never going to be released anywhere but Japan which I seriously doubt because that's just losing money.

Wikipedia claims that there was a 'Hoshi no Kirby' title on a Wii games future release list, which is really cool if that's really going to be the name.

Hoshi no Kirby would be the English pronunciation of the Japanese title... it would not be the English title, so we could get a gay name.
 
Yes, there was a Kirby game in development for the GameCube using the SSBM engine. It was scrapped in favour of a Wii game.
 
Translated literally, it's 'Kirby of the Stars' or 'Star Kirby'; it's also the Japanese title of the anime and a cool name in general so I hope we get it and not some 4Kids quality shit.
 
I knew about this a while ago, KSS just takes the cake in terms of Kirby, I have only considered Squeak Squad to come close to what KSS implemented so well, the variety of attacks with a single power. This is like the prequel to the smash bros series.

I totally missed out on this. Very strange, considering I've been all over my favorite SNES remakes (like when Link to the Past came out on GBA.) I still play this game time to time on my dying SNES, so having an upgrade on a more reliable system sounds absolutely incredible. I'm buying this for sure when it comes out, even if its just to go through Revenge of Meta Knight on better graphics.

Mario RPG is on the ESRB website and just came out two days ago in Japan on Virtual Console. So even though it's not a remake, we should be able to play it on our Wiis soon.
