Whoa, there's no reason for Infernape to get nine sets. Not only will it take you a lifetime to write this up and get it checked, but the majority of its sets can be sent to OO.

For instance, the Swords Dance and Nasty Plot sets should be moved to OO. It never had them last gen, and there is no reason for it to have them this gen. In fact, they've gotten much worse with the slew of revenge killing Pokemon in the tier. There is also little point to having three Choice Scarf sets. Infernape's best Choice Scarf set has always been Mixed Scarf, so I would leave that there and remove the others. Choice Specs is also worse than Choice Band, so send that to OO as well.

All in all, remove everything except Choice Band, Anti-lead, Mixed Attacker, and Mixed Scarf for now.

But Infernape is my favorite Pokemoooooon :(
(jk)

But in all seriousness I understand why you say this, I'll make the changes.

How much worse is Fire Punch out of curiosity in comparison to Flare Blitz as an option even though its weaker it gets Iron Fist and more survivability i would assume due to less recoil although I could see Flare Blitz being still the better choice

Even with the Iron Fist boost Flare Blitz is still stronger.

If I wanted a set with

Fake out
Power up punch
Fire punch / flare blitz
Thunder punch

Should I go adamant / jolly or naive / naughty?

Figure I used it as my lead. Slap it for a flinch, PuP and then roll monkey.

Why exactly is Adamant and Naughty even slashed on some of Infernape's sets? One of the few reasons to use Infernape is because of its decent speed tier, which puts it ahead of notable threats like Landorus-I, Garchomp, Genesect, while speed tying with Terrakion and Keldeo. By making it slower then these Pokemon, you're basically taking away one of its best attributes, thus making it more outclassed then it already is. I understand that this is a WIP, but definitely remove any mention of any non +Spe natures from the analysis. Unless for some reason they're EXTREMELY significant 2HKOes or OHKOes that these natures achieve, then Infernape should always be running a +Spe nature, or fuck why would you even still be using Infernape?

Also, Infernape doesn't learn Ice Punch (ninjad). Although HP Ice is much less useful this generation because of the nerf and can no longer OHKO Garchomp amongst other things without significant SpA investment, I'd probably only slash it somewhere on the Mixed Attacker and Scarf sets because of its ability to OHKO Landorus after SR and smacking Landorus-T and Gliscor on the switch or something, but other than that it's a pretty weak move. Lastly there's really no reason to slash Fire Blast and Flamethrower on the Mixed set. They're AC at best, because Infernape really has nothing to lose by spamming Overheat in most situations, while Fire Blast and Flamethrower are more reliable/accurate options that really just comes down to personal preference.

I checked Serebii and the Research thread and both show that Infernape does not learn Ice Punch through any means.

I oopsed

Chimchar learns Nasty Plot if prevented from evolving in all generations since 4. Other than that I fully agree.
