How to possibly tell if a pokemon is hacked.

BTW-- this is more paranoia talking, but if the hacker uses an AR to change IVs, does that happen through messing with the pid? And if such a code were used to fiddle with the IVs of a poke in an egg, would the hatched poke then show up as a hack?

I know that X-Act mentioned that bred pokes are almost impossible to screen for hacks (like if their parents were), but if the IVs were fiddled with after the old man said "We found this with the parents," it should show up as hacked right?

Modifying IVs via hex only requires messing with the PID if it's a Pokemon that is caught in the wild. You can fiddle with the IVs of a Pokemon in an egg and it will come out just fine as long as you do it properly.

I honestly don't care about hacked pokemon in terms of making a good competitive pokemon. I mean, hats off to you dedicated breeders and the likes, but I don't have the time to always SR and go poke hunting due to school/work.

Making a completely BS pokemon to battle though I dislike, aka, 252 all EVs, wonderguard spiritomb, etc, etc.

And I don't approve of trading "hacked" pokemon as legit, only if both parties agree. Then again, who can't figure out how to use pokesav?

Pokesav might be easy to use, but using it to produce Pokemon that are indistinguishable from the real deal is an entirely different matter. I'd guess that 95% of all hacks are classifiable so.
