60 x 1.5 = 90 x 1.5 = 135 x 2 = 270 base power if he goes last with Technician.

Revenge suddenly became a very viable option on Top, didn't it?

No, because Revenge will have 120 power x [STAB] = 180 if you get hit.

However, if the opponent uses Nasty Plot or something like that, then it's 60 x [Tech] x [STAB] = 60 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 135.

You're better with Triple Kick. At least breaks Substitutes.

whyd you start a thread about this, you have barely any information on it and im pretty sure that doesnt work since technician doesnt work with pursuit when its powers doubled so why would revenge work

edit: also beat

I'd say you're better just using the improved Hi Jump Kick and Intimidate. Hitmontop has no hope of living only with that pitiful base 50 HP. It needs all the help it can get and Intimidate surely is an awesome help.

It's not really like any of Top's Technician'd attacks outdamages Hi Jump Kick anyway. I have to admit that Technician'd Mach Punch is quite nice, but are you really going to give Intimidate up just to boost one move? C'mon...

Close Combat may outdamage Hi Jump Kick, but then you really should be using Hitmonlee or Chan. All Hitmontop has over them is a little more stay power, but Close Combat nullifies that.
