Adamant Nature

- Triple Axel
- Tera Blast

Hisuian Lilligant shines on sun teams as a premier late-game cleaner and revenge killer, using Chlorophyll to outspeed boosted threats such as Iron Valiant and Walking Wake. Its strong dual STAB combination in Close Combat and Solar Blade allows it to clean up against offensive threats including Great Tusk, Darkrai, and Ogerpon-W. Triple Axel provides essential coverage against Flying-types such as Dragonite, Gliscor, and Zapdos, preventing them from walling Hisuian Lilligant. Tera Fire powers up Tera Blast to pressure Steel-types such as Gholdengo, Corviknight, and Skarmory under sun. Tera Ghost alternatively flips the matchup against Zamazenta and Body Press Corviknight, as well as threatening Pecharunt with Tera Blast. An Adamant nature is preferred over a Jolly one to secure an OHKO on uninvested Cinderace with Close Combat and increase the probability of OHKOing Ogerpon-W.

Either Torkoal or Ninetales must set sun to activate Hisuian Lilligant's Chlorophyll, with each providing unique utility. Torkoal is bulkier, sets Stealth Rock, and removes entry hazards with Rapid Spin, while Ninetales brings greater Speed, Encore to disrupt setup, and Healing Wish to give Hisuian Lilligant a second chance to sweep. Walking Wake and Raging Bolt are excellent teammates, threatening the physical walls that Hisuian Lilligant struggles with, notably Moltres and Pecharunt. In return, Hisuian Lilligant pressures special walls such as Garganacl and Ting-Lu, giving Walking Wake and Raging Bolt space to break teams. Great Tusk supports Hisuian Lilligant with hazard control and physical pressure on Pecharunt, as well as removing the Heavy-Duty Boots from Moltres to wear it down with hazards, while appreciating Hisuian Lilligant's ability to soften Alomomola, Dondozo, and Ogerpon-W. Zamazenta is a major obstacle, but Hatterene can help limit its setup opportunities, as well as blocking hazards or using Healing Wish to keep Hisuian Lilligant healthy and spreading paralysis with Nuzzle to ensure that it can clean up out of sun.

[SET COMMENTS]
Hisuian Lilligant’s excellent coverage and ability make it a formidable cleaner on sun teams. Its movepool does not provide many options, but the options available serve it well. The combination of Close Combat, Solar Blade, and Triple Axel allows Hisuian Lilligant to deal super effective damage against common stall threats such as Blissey, Dondozo, and Gliscor, something few others can claim. Tera Fire, along with a Life Orb and an Adamant nature, guarantees an OHKO on uninvested Gholdengo even outside of the sun, which otherwise walls it. With sun and Stealth Rock damage, Hisuian Lilligant also lures Corviknight and Skarmory, KO both with Tera Fire, and avoids any additional recoil from Rocky Helmet. Other Tera types can provide situational relief against priority attacks, such as Tera Ghost against Dragonite’s Extreme Speed and Tera Fighting against Kingambit’s Sucker Punch, but are not recommended because giving up Tera Fire’s offensive utility is a severe opportunity cost. Boosting moves such as Victory Dance and Swords Dance do not provide much utility because Hisuian Lilligant’s frailty does not allow it many free turns to set up. Even Defog is not recommended because Gholdengo otherwise can switch in with minimal consequence. Hisuian Lilligant would much rather maximize its time while the sun is activated and get to attacking instead. Although a Jolly nature allows Hisuian Lilligant to outspeed Kyurem, an Adamant nature allows Hisuian Lilligant to OHKO uninvested Cinderace with Close Combat and provide a higher probability of OHKOing Ogerpon-Wellspring with either Close Combat or Solar Blade. The additional power helps, especially when the cost of not reaching a KO often means getting KOed in return because of Hisuian Lilligant’s minimal defenses.

This set should only be used on sun teams, so Torkoal is a mandatory partner. Torkoal can also provide Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin as utility, especially to prevent additional hazard damage after Hisuian Lilligant Terrastalizes. Keep in mind that Torkoal’s primary purpose on sun teams is to keep the sun up and not deal with removing hazards, so having additional hazard controllers such as Great Tusk, Iron Treads, and Hatterene is strongly advisable. Protosynthesis users, such as Gouging Fire, Walking Wake, and Roaring Moon, are great teammates that can also take advantage of the sun. Hisuian Lilligant can clean up by outspeeding threats such as Deoxys-Speed and Iron Boulder and OHKOing with Solar Blade. Moltres and Zapdos are threats because attacking either with Triple Axel creates multiple opportunities for Flame Body and Static to activate on a single turn, rendering Hisuian Lilligant useless. Recoil damage from Life Orb and Rocky Helmet contact from Corviknight, Garchomp, and Skarmory also adds up. Healing Wish support, especially from Hatterene, can give Hisuian Lilligant a clean slate.

Hisuian Lilligant dances elegantly under the sunlight! Carving a small niche as one of sun teams' offensive threats, it makes use of Chlorophyll to blaze past and revenge kill even fast fearsome foes like Choice Scarf Darkrai, Speed Booster Energy Iron Valiant, and Dragon Dance Roaring Moon. Moreover, Hisuian Lilligant's nuclear STAB moves become nigh-impossible to switch into when backed by Triple Axel and Tera Blast Fire under the sun; the former takes care of Dragapult and Dragonite, while the latter melts Corviknight and Gholdengo and 2HKOes Zapdos without triggering Static. It also makes use of Tera Fire's defensive properties to flip its weakness against Pokemon like Weavile and Iron Valiant while preventing pesky Moltres and Dragapult from stopping its rampage with a burn. On top of a necessary sun setter like Ninetales, common wallbreakers like Raging Bolt, Walking Wake, and Roaring Moon are similarly important to keep up the offensive pressure. Hatterene's entry hazard-prevention antics due to Magic Bounce are similarly appreciated to keep Hisuian Lilligant healthy, with its and the aforementioned Ninetales's Healing Wish capable of doing so even further.

Its strong dual STAB combination in Close Combat and Solar Blade allows it to break through common foes such as Ting-Lu, Dondozo, and Alomomola none of these are really targets hlliligant deals with esp since they don't want to stay in the first place and hlliligant is a cleaner instead of breaker, list offensive threats ie moon darkrai etc instead. Triple Axel grants key coverage against Flying-types such as Dragonite, Gliscor, and Zapdos, ensuring they cannot wall its STAB combination. Hisuian Lilligant uses Tera Blast with Tera Fire to handle Steel-types like Gholdengo, Corviknight, and Skarmory; avoid Flame Body burns from Moltres this doesn't really make sense since tera blast does nothing into moltres anyways; prevent Static paralysis from Zapdos; and mitigate recoil damage from Rocky Helmet rocky helmet mons are already mentioned above/dont care about tera blast. An Adamant nature is preferred over a Jolly one to secure OHKOs on uninvested Cinderace with Close Combat and maximize rolls to KO OHKO Ogerpon-Wellspring.

Either Torkoal or Ninetales must set sun to activate Hisuian Lilligant’s Chlorophyll, but using both is redundant with each providing their own unique utility. Torkoal provides bulk is bulkier, able to set Stealth Rock, and Rapid Spin, while Ninetales offers greater offensive power, Encore to deny set-up, and Healing Wish for a second sweep attempt. Iron Treads, while frailer, outspeeds Kyurem before using Rapid Spin to prevent momentum loss and can act as a temporary check to Fairy-type foes like Iron Valiant and Enamorus with Booster Energy Speed. Hatterene blocks hazards with Magic Bounce and provides Healing Wish support. this isn't really true: hlilligant resists rocks and isn't coming in particularly often to care about spike damage long term, and even at -1 from webs it outspeeds most unboosted threats. Treads also just isn't good on sun. Hatt and Tusk are still good teammates, but you should explore their other utility ie tusk acting as a secondary breaker + overwhelm shared defensive checks + beat ghold etc Roaring Moon, Walking Wake, and Raging Bolt use Protosynthesis to break threaten they do it with or without proto anyways Hisuian Lilligant's checks, with Roaring Moon pressuring Pecharunt and Galarian Slowking and ghold + stack damage on birds while Walking Wake and Raging Bolt deal with Moltres and Pecharunt. Moltres in particular is a major obstacle, resisting Solar Blade and Close Combat while punishing Triple Axel with Flame Body. Priority moves from Dragonite, Kingambit, Weavile, and Raging Bolt can easily KO Lilligant after minor chip damage. Pecharunt’s bulk and ability to spread status further hinder Lilligant’s effectiveness, while Zamazenta takes neutral damage from all its attacks and can set up a counter sweep with Iron Defense and Body Press. If you want to have a section dedicated to issues that hllilligant faces, make sure to add teammates that can handle them. Ie can you can restructure this + the previous section into "Moltres is a particularly tough foe for Hisuian Lilligant to break because so and so, so teammates like Raging Bolt and Walking Wake help greatly in threatning Moltres, as well as so and so" "Pecharunt is another threat, so physical breakers like Roaring Moon and Great Tusk can overwhelm him as well as threatening so and so while Hisuian Lilligant does so and so" also priority from half of the mons listed are resisted by lilligant and doesn't ohko after minor chip damage (and debatebly dnite as well).

Hisuian Lilligant shines on sun teams as a premier late-game cleaner and revenge killer, using Chlorophyll to outspeed Booster Energy-boosted threats such as Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon. Its strong dual STAB combination in Close Combat and Solar Blade allows it to clean up against weakened offensive threats such as Darkrai, Ogerpon-Wellspring, and Great Tusk. Triple Axel grants key coverage against Flying-types such as Dragonite, Gliscor, and Zapdos, ensuring they cannot wall its STAB combination. Hisuian Lilligant uses Tera Blast with Tera Fire to pressure Steel-types like Gholdengo, Corviknight, and Skarmory while also preventing Static paralysis from Zapdos. Forgot to add Tera Ghost last check (next time make sure you're following dex sets) so restructure this into a general sentence about what Tera Fire does for Hlilligant, and then what tera ghost does for hlilligant, and nature should go above the tera section btw An Adamant nature is preferred over a Jolly one to secure OHKOs on uninvested Cinderace with Close Combat and increase the chance to OHKO Ogerpon-Wellspring.

Either Torkoal or Ninetales must set sun to activate Hisuian Lilligant’s Chlorophyll, with each providing unique utility. Torkoal is bulkier, sets Stealth Rock, and removes hazards with Rapid Spin, while Ninetales offers greater offensive presence, Encore to disrupt setup, and Healing Wish for a second sweep attempt. Roaring Moon, Walking Wake, and Raging Bolt are excellent teammates that pressure Lilligant’s checks—Roaring Moon threatens Pecharunt, Galarian Slowking, and Gholdengo, while Walking Wake and Raging Bolt handle Moltres and Pecharunt. Moltres is particularly difficult for Lilligant to break, resisting Solar Blade and Close Combat while punishing Triple Axel with Flame Body, so Raging Bolt and Walking Wake are key in forcing it out. Pecharunt’s bulk and ability to spread status further hinder Lilligant, but physical breakers such as Roaring Moon and Great Tusk apply pressure while covering shared defensive threats. Zamazenta also limits Lilligant, as it takes neutral damage from all of its attacks and can set up a counter sweep with Iron Defense and Body Press, though strong special attackers such as Torkoal and Raging Bolt can force it out. While priority moves from Dragonite, Kingambit, and Raging Bolt can threaten Lilligant, some of these are resisted and do not always secure OHKOs after minor chip damage, meaning Lilligant can sometimes maneuver around them depending on the game state. It just doesn't work the way it's currently formatted since you're just repeating it information again + the last sentence was unnecessary, so I'd recommend doing a mix of scrapping and combining the two. I would frame it like this:
Example: "Walking Wake is an excellent teammate, threatening Pokemon Hisuian Lilligant can struggle with like Moltres and Pecharunt, as well as overwhelming shared checks like Galarian Slowking. In return, Hisuian Lilligant can target specially defensive walls that Walking Wake cannot, like Tera Water Garganacl, as well as offensive threats like Ogerpon-W and Primarina, especially thanks to Walking Wake's ability to pivot."

Obviously wording is up to you, but this is the general structure it should take: Teammate, what it does/what h-lilligant does for it, and then vice versa. If multiple pokémon have overlapping role ie wake and bolt, you can combine them together, and just mention what specific checks/threats they help with.
Example: "Walking Wake and Raging Bolt are excellent teammates, ... , with the latter also appreciating Hisuian Lilligant threatening Ting Lu".

Working on this right now. Thanks for giving space. I'll address your concerns in the next edit. Some of the design choices (Tera choice in particular) were intentional. Tera Fire is superior to Tera Ghost, but I can address using Tera Ghost in passing. Teammates section will be reworked and depends on the Roaring Moon suspect test results. If Roaring Moon gets banhammered, the only change needed is deleting its sentence.

Its strong dual STAB combination in Close Combat and Solar Blade allows it to clean up against offensive threats including Great Tusk, Darkrai, and Ogerpon-Wellspring. Triple Axel provides essential coverage against Flying-types such as Dragonite, Gliscor, and Zapdos, preventing them from walling Lilligant. Tera Fire powers up Tera Blast to pressure Steel-types such as Gholdengo, Corviknight, and Skarmory under sun, making it Lilligant's most effective Terastallization choice. Tera Ghost is a niche alternative that provides an immunity to Extreme Speed, but lacks the offensive presence and matchup coverage Tera Fire offers dont frame one better than the other, they're both equally viable picks. Tera Ghost offers an incredibly crucial MU flipper into Zamazenta and better way to hit pecharunt, as well as more effective outside of sun + can beat body press mons like Corv which Tera Fire can't. . An Adamant nature is preferred over a Jolly one to secure an OHKO on uninvested Cinderace with Close Combat and increase the probability of OHKOing Ogerpon-Wellspring.

Either Torkoal or Ninetales must set sun to activate Hisuian Lilligant’s Chlorophyll, with each providing unique utility. Torkoal is bulkier, sets Stealth Rock, and removes hazards with Rapid Spin, while Ninetales brings greater Speed, Encore to disrupt setup, and Healing Wish to give Lilligant a second chance to sweep. Walking Wake and Raging Bolt are excellent teammates, breaking through bulky physical walls, including Moltres and Pecharunt. In return, Hisuian Lilligant pressures faster offensive threats and specially defensive walls such as wheres the faster offensive threats lol Garganacl, Ting-Lu, and Galarian Slowking hlill doesn't do too good into gking anyways. Roaring Moon threatens shared defensive walls such as Pecharunt, Gholdengo, and Galarian Slowking with Knock Off, while benefiting from Lilligant’s ability to outspeed and eliminate faster threats that could otherwise revenge kill it even after a Dragon Dance or Booster Energy boost. Great Tusk supports Hisuian Lilligant with hazard control both hazard removal to keep it healthy and Stealth Rock to wear down its switchins, and physical pressure as well as pressuring Hisuian Lilligant's checks like Pecharunt and Galarian Slowking, while appreciating Lilligant's ability to soften Dondozo Alomomola, Ogerpon-W, and Corviknight with Tera. more relevant examples Zamazenta is a major obstacle for Hisuian Lilligant, utilizing its formidable physical bulk to force out Hisuian Lilligant and even set-up for its own sweep. gaining a Defense boost from Dauntless Shield the first time it enters battle and taking neutral damage from all of Hisuian Lilligant’s attacks. This potentially allows Zamazenta to set up with Iron Defense and threaten a sweep with Body Press. this is mostly dex info/doesn't need mentioning, so can be shortened a lot Dragapult, Iron Valiant, and Iron Moth can help limit Zamazenta’s setup opportunities or force it out before it snowballs. Priority attacks from Dragonite, Kingambit, and Raging Bolt can threaten Hisuian Lilligant, but several of these moves fail to consistently KO without prior chip damage, allowing Hisuian Lilligant to outmaneuver them in favorable positions. a lot of these examples aren't found on sun, talk about Hatterene instead. "Thus, Hatterene is a great teammate, able to force out Zamazenta, as well as providing further speed control in Nuzzle, and keeping Hisuian Lilligant healthy through both hazard control in Magic Bounce and Healing Wish". Once again, can rephrase this a little if you want to but keep this general structure

FayaWizard I can provide one final edit and then I would like to chat with you on Discord about this to commit to a final version. We could send manual edits back and forth for eternity and not get anywhere otherwise. Let me know of a good time to schedule something and I will be there.

The edits are in. My guess is from here there will still be a disagreement or two that we can compromise on, but that can be discussed in a Discord call more efficiently than a back and forth editing rally.

Walking Wake and Raging Bolt are excellent teammates, breaking through bulky special walls, including Moltres and Pecharunt threatening the physical walls that Hisuian Lilligant struggles with, keyly Moltres and Pecharunt. In return, Hisuian Lilligant pressures specially defensive walls such as Garganacl, Ting-Lu, and Galarian Slowking and Ting Lu, giving Walking Wake and Raging Bolt space to overwhelm shared checks break teams. Great Tusk supports Hisuian Lilligant with hazard control and physical pressure on Pecharunt, as well as removing the Heavy-Duty Boots from Moltres to wear it down with hazards, while appreciating Lilligant's ability to soften Alomomola, Dondozo, and Ogerpon-Wellspring. Zamazenta is a major obstacle, but Hatterene can help limit its setup opportunities, as well as by blocking hazards or using Healing Wish to keep Hisuian Lilligant healthy, and spreading paralysis with Nuzzle to ensure Hisuian Lilligant can clean up out of sun., and providing Healing Wish support.

Thank you - implemented all changes.

Note: FayaWizard had good comments post QC approval to the Zamazenta / Hatterene sentence at the end on Discord. I wanted to detangle both how Hatterene checks Zamazenta and its general support for Hisuian Lilligant with Nuzzle slowing down threats so Hisuian Lilligant can outpace them outside of sun. If there was more nuance needed for that point, please let me know so I don't miss your subtext.

[SET]
Sun Sweeper (Lilligant-Hisui) @ Life Orb this formatting adds the set name onto the dex page
Ability: Chlorophyll
Tera Type: Fire / Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Solar Blade
