Gooey slows down physical attackers, creating opportunities to attack first against Pokemon like Crawdaunt and Maushold. Tera Ghost provides a key immunity to Fighting, which gives Hisuian Goodra favorable matchups into Okidogi, Mienshao, and Galarian Zapdos. Defensive teammates that can switch into Fighting- and Ground-type attacks like Amoonguss, Hippowdon, and Slowbro are great at forming unbreakable cores.
