Afaik this doesn't have a thread and it's too damn fun to not have one. Post anything about haxball in this thread from looking for games to play to just talking about the game itself. For anyone who doesn't know wtf haxball is, it's like soccer / futbol as a low quality video game. Most of the time it's four players play on each team at a time (although games as small as 1 v 1 are possible) and are as follows: two forwards, one midfielder, and one keeper. Not any rules really, just score as much as you can n_n

Is haxball still insanely laggy? I didn't find the lag to be really endearing when it was big here before, but it's a fun game aside from that.

I don't experience that much lag, but I can't speak for other people

Lag is really dependent on how good your host is... there are hosts who can keep it reasonable but it takes pretty good net for that to work. Lag is definitely one of the biggest issues it has though

It usually depends on whoever is hosting. If you're far from the host it can get pretty laggy from my limited experience

eh distance doesnt matter too much... living in us i used to play a lot with two friends, one in canada one in hong kong and we could keep lag to being relatively minimal despite the distance (mid 100s ping), so although distance hurts definitely, it doesnt completely rule you out fi you can find a good host

i've been playing hax competitively for like 2 years i guess

anyone here play in leagues? i played d1 in sphb for the crabs last season but sphb isn't that fun cus >160 ping is shitty. i think i'm on ho chi with most of the other uk players in sphb this season?? i play mostly in western european leagues (fm etc) and i played a bit for the UK national team in the esl tournament thats just finished

shit dude, that's sick af. I've been trying to find some leagues to play in once I get better. Would be chill af to talk to you about competitive and how to get better.

Haxball's pretty damn fun. I'm bad at it but still really enjoy it. I used to play it with a bunch of friends and we used to hold tourneys for it. Fun times.
