Quality Control Haban Berry Garchomp No Drago Edition [QC 0/2] [GP 0/1]

[SET]
Haban Berry (Garchomp) @ Haban Berry
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 248 HP / 88 Atk / 116 Def / 16 SpD / 40 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Scale Shot

[SET COMMENTS]
* Garchomp aims to use its Haban Berry to defeat opposing dragons such as Dragapult and Raging Bolt, while retaining its unique offensive profile.
* Swords Dance helps counter Weakness Policy users such as Metagross, as well as Pokemon that use Attack-lowering moves, such as Pecharunt's Parting Shot.
* Outrage should be used against Raging Bolt, Roaring Moon, and Dragapult.
* Earthquake hits Metagross, Pecharunt, Hisuian Goodra, and non-Air Balloon Volcanion for solid damage.
* Scale Shot breaks any Substitute from Pokemon like Volcarona and Ogerpon-W while raising its Speed, allowing it to beat these Pokemon.
* The defensive EVs will survive a Dragon Darts from Choice Band Dragapult, as well as a Draco Meteor from Booster Energy Raging Bolt. The Speed EVs allow Garchomp to always outspeed Raging Bolt.
* Being a Dragon-type, Garchomp naturally struggles against Fairy-type pokemon such as Primarina, Iron Valiant, and Alolan Ninetales, as well as physically bulky pokemon such as Corviknight and Ursaluna. It is wise to pair Garchomp with Pokemon like Volcanion, Pecharunt, and Spectrier to counter these weaknesses.

* Garchomp aims to use its Haban Berry to defeat opposing dragons (examples, drago bolt uhh moon wake kyu idk) while retaining its unique offensive profile.
* Swords Dance helps counter Weakness Policies and Attack lowering moves like Parting Shot, and so should be used before attacking Pokemon such as Metagross and Pecharunt. (no me gusto borralo)
* Swords Dance helps counter Weakness Policy users such as Metagross, as well as Pokemon that use Attack-lowering moves, such as Pecharunt's Parting Shot. (the "should be used" part is kinda obvious that you have to use sd before they attack imo)
* Outrage should be used against Regidrago, Raging Bolt, and Choice Specs Dragapult. (no way they made this thing not live ddarts hold on... 252+ Atk Choice Band Dragapult Dragon Darts (2 hits) vs. 224 HP / 8 Def Haban Berry Garchomp: 396-468 (95.8 - 113.3%) -- approx. 75% chance to OHKO whar WAIT SO WE COULD'VE ACTUALLY PUT A POKEMON IN DRAGAPULT'S ANALYSIS ZackPalace it's too late anyway but yeah)
* Earthquake hits Metagross, Pecharunt, non-Custap Berry Hisuian Goodra, and non-Air Balloon Volcanion for large (large is a word, not against it but yeah) damage.
* Scale Shot breaks any Substitutes from Pokemon like Volcarona and Ogerpon-W while raising its Speed, allowing it to beat these Pokemon.
* The defensive EVs will survive an Ice Punch from Jolly Metagross, as well as a Dragon Energy from Timid Regidrago on the Special side. The Speed EVs will outspeed the maximum for base 80 Speed Pokemon such as Regidrago (mayb non-Ice Punch Hoopa-U worth adding here? though that might just be my opinion).
* Being a Dragon-type, Garchomp naturally struggles against Fairy-type pokemon such as Primarina, Iron Valiant, and Alolan Ninetales, as well as physically bulky pokemon such as Corviknight and Landorus-T. It is wise to pair Garchomp with Pokemon like Volcanion, Pecharunt, and Spectrier to counter these weaknesses.

* Garchomp aims to use its Haban Berry to defeat opposing dragons such as Regidrago and Raging Bolt, while retaining its unique offensive profile.
* Swords Dance helps counter Weakness Policy users such as Metagross, as well as Pokemon that use Attack-lowering moves, such as Pecharunt's Parting Shot.
* Outrage should be used against Regidrago, Raging Bolt, and Choice Specs Dragapult (you still use outrage against any offensive dragapult set and it should still be fine against most disable sets in sv. can just include a rider about potential ddarts defeating this set).
* Earthquake hits Metagross, Pecharunt, non-Custap Berry (you can still beat custap by playing correctly. could probably just note that the user should beware of custap hoodra/mana/whatever as a possibility in a separate bulletpoint) Hisuian Goodra, and non-Air Balloon Volcanion (scale shot into eq wins) for solid damage.
* Scale Shot breaks any Substitute from Pokemon like Volcarona and Ogerpon-W while raising its Speed, allowing it to beat these Pokemon.

* Being a Dragon-type, Garchomp naturally struggles against Fairy-type pokemon such as Primarina, Iron Valiant, and Alolan Ninetales, as well as physically bulky Pokemon (capitalize) such as Corviknight and Landorus-T (haban has a fairly winnable landot matchup, this spread is probably always beating av and lorb. you could change the example to cress and focus on stall mons, or just find a different example). It is wise to pair Garchomp with Pokemon like Volcanion, Pecharunt, and Spectrier to counter these weaknesses.
