Pet Mod GlaceMons - Playtesting; OU is done! | Please read Post #540!

Voting is now open!

The following sub(s) will be vetoed and disqualified from voting:
Too Weak
Dragonslayerz’s Luxray (See Veto Post)
Solrock's Mini Firework Rockets (This move is significantly weaker than other fire type alternatives.)
Fragmented's Temper Flare clones (Council believes this move and its alternatives remain not strong enough to warrant use over other options)
Solrock's Oricorio (Neither of these changes are enough to make the Oricorio forms viable.)
Prof Turtle's Tri-Attack (This move's damage output is too inconsistent to warrant much use.) (Correction, I miscalculated the damage formula, this gets allowed.)

Too Strong
Z-nogyrop’s Demoralize and Recycle (See Veto Post)

Voting Format
In each category, you may vote for 6 submissions, with 2 self-votes in each category (so you can vote for 24 submissions with 8 total self-votes). Please specify which votes are self-votes. You don't have to list who made the submission unless someone else subbed something with the same name/species. The order you put it in does not matter, every vote is worth 1 point.

In doing research while going through everything, even with Bulbapedia still being down I was reminded that for some reason Armor Cannon isn't a Pulse move for Mega Launcher to buff--thanks Serebii--despite the name. Game Freak, why are you like this?

Anyway:

MOVES: Squall, Fire Fang / Thunder Fang / Ice Fang / Poison Fang / Fishious Rend / Hyper Fang, Baneful Bunker / Burning Bulwark / Flower Shield / Short Circuit / Silk Trap, Dredge, Mountain Gale | Supercell Slam (self-vote), Molt.

ADJUSTMENTS: Zoroark & Zoroark-Hisui, Shaymin & Shaymin-Sky, Drapion, Flutter Mane, The Birds (self-vote), Lucario-Megaducken.

*Are these last two supposed to be the annoying-to-spell "fluoresce" and "incandesce"?

Tally over here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MQ_ltOlLWXjUK_vUTzPBNvHcYspg391Q1SXrj4e8kI4/edit?gid=0#gid=0
Name: Tri-Attack
Power: 35
Accuracy: 100%
PP:10
Category: Special
Type: Electric
Effect: Hits 3 times, each with the type effectiveness of Ice, Fire, and Electric, yet still only receiving a STAB boost from normal types. Each hit has a chance of 10% chance to freeze, burn, and paralyse, respectively.
Potential Mons: :porygon-z: :indeedee: :dudunsparce: idk just guys who look like they can master all the elements
Name: Squall (RESUB)
Flying.png
|
Special.png
| PP: 10 (16) | Power: 80 | Accuracy: 100% | Priority: +0
Effect: This move's power is multiplied by 1.5x if used in snow or a sandstorm.
Flags: Protect, Mirror, Wind
Potential Pokémon: :Tornadus::Articuno::Noivern::Cramorant::Swellow::Sigilyph::Kilowattrel::Glaceon::Vanilluxe::Froslass::Frosmoth:
Justification: A 100% accurate special Flying-type attack, which I'd say is sorely needed given the two more arguably best two options (most times) are Air Slash (75 BP 95% acc) and Hurricane (110 BP 70% acc). I decided to place it just above Air Slash in terms of base power to keep it tame, with no secondary effect, though it is boosted by 50% in both snow and sand to give it something of its own identity.
Name: Petroleum Blast
Rock.png
|
Special.png
|
PP: | Power: 95 | Accuracy: 90% | Priority: +0
Effect: Applies Tar Shot to the target. Hits both foes.
Flags: Protect, Mirror, Bullet
Potential Pokémon: :Coalossal::Omastar::Cradily::Aurorus::Nihilego::Glimmora::Lunatone::Camerupt::Claydol:
Justification: Special Rock Sweepers need more options, and Tar Shot is a neat idea but not particularly practical move, so Petroleum Blast takes both those things and as such is a Special Rock-type move that applies Tar Shot's doubled effectiveness of Fire-type moves to the target. That said, Petroleum Blast does too carry one particular (although likely intentional) flaw of Tar Shot, in that in order to take advantage of the target's newly given weakness to Fire-types, you NEED a Fire-type move to begin with, taking up an additional move slot as Tar Bomb is not Fire-type (although, in Tar Shot's case it didn't even deal damage, so that didn't make much a difference to begin with), as such, it also does double as a genuine alternative to Power Gem, having 15 more base power, but in exchange is 10% less accurate, as such there's a risk-reward factor applied and the appeal that has in-and-of itself.
Name: Fire Fang / Thunder Fang / Ice fang / Poison Fang / Fishious Rend / Hyper Fang
Power: 65
Accuracy: 95
PP: 20
Category: Physical
Type: Fire / Electric / Ice / Poison / Water / Fighting
Effect: Power increases by 1.5x if user moves before target.

Fire: Has a 10% Chance to burn
Thunder: Has a 10% Chance to para
Ice: Has a 10% Chance to freeze
Poison: Has a 10% Chance to poison
Fishious: Has a 30% Chance to drop opponents speed by 1
Hyper: Has a 30% Chance to drop opponents attack by 1
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Contact, Biting
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Fishious Rend ( :sharpedo: :crawdaunt: :arceus: :basculin: :cramorant: :drednaw: :feraligatr: :kyogre: :silvally: :wishiwashi: ) Hyper fang ( :combusken: :koraidon: :lucario: :mienshao: :okidogi: :passimian: :pawmot: :slither wing: :scrafty: :sneasel: :sneasel-hisui: :tauros-paldea-combat: :zamazenta: :buzzwole: :pangoro: :sirfetch'd: ) Poison Fang (:toxtricity: :beedrill: :nidoran-f: :nidoran-m: :salazzle: :scolipede: :venusaur: :golbat: )
Justification: This is a buff to all biting moves and an unban to dracovish. THis allows dracovish to be fine within OU as it now does not do enough dmg with fishous rend to really be an ohko machine with scarf while band is often to slow. Fire, thunder, ice, poison fang can all find niches as attacks that users benefit from as now they are much stronger especially with stronger effects, while sure they may outclass ice punch you still have to note they are only stronger if you are faster or if the opponent switches out so it will likely find more uses on pokemon that may abuse the boost in power granted if they are fast
Name: Macho Brace
Effect: If held by Fighting types or Pokémon with the ability Klutz, boosts the Attack and Defense stats by 1.3. If held by any other Pokémon, halves user's speed instead. Fling boosted by 1.5 if used.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): No
Fling Power & Effect: Dark, 80 BP
Justification: Only big Huslters can handle using Macho Brace. On a serious note, Macho Brace is a cool item for bulky set up Fighting types to take advantage of - bolstering their existing strengths to make them even better
Name: Cursed Branch
Effect: User is afflicted with Forest's Curse on switching in. Messages on activation ("The Cursed Branch caused user to gain the Grass type!")
Can Be Knocked Off: Y
Ignored by Klutz: Y
Fling Power & Effect: 30, target is afflicted with Forest's Curse
Justification: Grass is a cool typing to have, with lots of downside and upside both - resistance to Water and Ground and Electric is always great, weakness to Fire and Ice and U-turn not so much. Could enable some fun defensive tactics.
:protector:
Name: Knights Armor
Effect: This Pokemon takes 0.75x damage if hazards are up on this Pokémon’s side. This Pokemon is grounded
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): No
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 200, this Pokemon recharges
Justification: fuuuck knock fuuuck boots you will use this
Name: Lagging Tail
Effect: Holder moves last in its priority bracket, but its moves have their power boosted by 30%
Can Be Knocked Off
(Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10
Justification: An alternative to Life Orb on slower Pokemon. Can also be used in conjunction with moves like Dragon Tail, which always move last anyway
Name: Merciless
Effect: This Pokemon's attacks are critical hits if the target is Burned, Paralyzed, or Poisoned.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :toxapex: :houndoom: :manectric: :kingambit: :pinsir: :crawdaunt: :annihilape: :brute-bonnet: :gyarados: :pangoro:
Justification: Cool ability concept wasted on Toxapex, a hard wall who much prefers Regenerator every single time and who's 63 Atk and 53 SpA aren't doing that any favors. Souped up, you can now actually have a good time running Toxic Spikes on your favorite team. And also now we punish Guts users. :)
Name: Telepathy
Effect: This Pokemon does not take damage from its allies. This Pokemon takes 25% less damage from attacks that go before it.
Permanent: No
Ignored by Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon: Other smart Pokemon like :Alakazam-Mega:
Justification: Another useless doubles-exclusive ability. Using your mind-reading ability to know what an opponent is about to do and brace for impact should be fitting and useful. Like a defensive version of Analytic.
Name: Deliquesce / Evanesce / Flouresce / Indancesce
Effect: On switch in, adds the Water / Ghost / Electric / Fire type to the user (like Forest's Curse and Trick Or Treat). Has no effect if the user is already that type.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability:
:squirtle: - :tadbulb: :slowpoke-galar: :dratini: :wooper-paldea: :corsola-galar: :masquerain: :stunfisk: :stunfisk-galar: :dragalge: :clobbopus: :pincurchin: :wattrel: :qwilfish-hisui: :inkay:

:charmander: - :mankey: :rattata: :weezing: :snubbull: :loudred: :solrock: :zebstrika: :toucannon: :revavroom: :cyclizar:

Justification: Adds some potentially interesting type combinations, acting like a pseudo-Tera at the cost of no surprise and using the ability slot.
Name: Quick Draw
Effect: On the first turn the wielder is active, it moves first within its priority bracket
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :cacturne: :sirfetch'd: :escavalier: :samurott: :tinkaton: :clawitzer: :vikavolt::slowbro-galar: :scrafty: :squawkabilly: :toxicroak:
Justification: Quick Draw is widely regarded as uncompetitive BS; this reworks it into an excellent, reliable ability with no RNG involved. It's pretty strong but the distribution I have suggested puts it mostly on weaker Pokémon.
Name: Daredevil
Effect: Moves with 85% accuracy or less are powered up by 30%.
Permanent: N
Mold Breaker: N
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :archeops: :typhlosion: :heracross: :tornadus: :thundurus: :terrakion: + Pokémon that run low-accuracy moves
Justification: Ability that makes clicking Hurricane and Focus Blast and Hydro Pump and Stone Edge feel a little less bad, while also maybe powering up Thunder and Blizzard enough to be worth using over Bolt and Beam? Fire Blast too, if that's your bag.
Name(s): Light Metal | Heavy Metal (adjustments)
Effect: "The Pokemon's weight is halved. Dark-moves against this Pokemon deal damage with a halved offensive stat. | The Pokemon's weight is doubled. Ghost-moves against this Pokemon deal damage with a halved offensive stat."
Permanent (Yes or No): No | No.
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes | Yes.
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: (Light Metal) Current [non-]users (:metagross:'s entire line, :registeel: & :scizor:) + :celesteela:, :gholdengo: (over Good as Gold), :iron crown:, :jirachi:, :klefki:
(Heavy Metal) Current [non-]users (:aggron:'s entire line, :bronzong:'s entire line & :copperajah:'s entire line) + :cobalion:, :forretress: :iron treads:, :metagross-mega: (over Tough Claws), :orthworm:, :revavroom:, :stakataka: [all have Heavy Slam]
(both) :duraludon: (already has both) + :honedge: & :doublade: (NOT :aegislash:), :klinklang:'s entire line (over Plus and Minus)
Justification: I've been struggling for the past three days to think of an ability (set) worth submitting, and I think this qualifies finally, with loose justifications being that light metals tend to be more flexible against Dark type shenanigans even before the pun and that "warding" metals tend to be heavier like with iron and such. Regardless, these abilities as they currently are remain virtually worthless without change, pretty much never used on anything outside of Copperajah, Duraludon due to that being stuck with the even more useless Stalwart, and then Registeel on occasion. So I've decided to keep their intended if largely useless function while also partially restoring the Steel resistances that died for Aegislash's (and now Gholdengo's) sins back in Gen 6.

Even with Kingambit unfortunately back, Heavy Metal is arguably still the more useful of the two even if it continues to carry of the risk due to increasing Low Kick damage, but it also increases (STAB) Heavy Slam damage, and Ghost-resistances are still unfortunately sorely lacking since Game Freak still hasn't replaced the Ghost-resistance it took from Steel for some reason--just give it to Ice you clods!--and instead only gave us the obnoxious Purifying Salt ability as a weird and hated compromise. Heavy Metal can also, in theory, be used to break Metagross-Mega out of Ubers where it doubtless languishes in disuse by getting rid of Tough Claws and making its Heavy Slam formidable and neutral to Ghost again while, in theory, returning the rest of its attacks to a level manageable outside of Ubers. If given to Metagross-Mega, then it would also allow regular Light Metal Metagross to mind game opponents by switching resistances if/when it Megas or even outright work as a false Mega as long as it lacks Clear Body. If it wins overall, then distribution should probably be a bit limited and restricted to mons that are primarily made of actual metal rather than partially metallic but still counted as Steel, with Goodra-Hisui and Tinkaton being examples of the last. Also, given what happened with my Justified mod last time, probably best to keep both of these away from Corviknight (and Skarmory) I guess. (Also also Self-Repair winning complicates things a bit, though largely only in Registeel's case I guess given that thing's bulk, especially since it basically becomes the ideal Knock Off-absorber on Stall with redone Light Metal.)
Name: Soul-Heart
Effect: This Pokemon's Special Attack is raised by 1 stage when another Pokemon faints. Once per battle.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker -
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Magearna
Justification: Shift Gear 3a + Z move sets are still just as potent as they have always been, the removal of cm is a big deal but mitigated by Magearna's extraordinary coverage, meaning it can just slot an extra coverage move in the fourth slot instead of cm. The reason these sets work is because the immediate power of a Z move allows Magearna to easily take a kill, activate Soul-Heart, and quickly snowball out of control. This change would completely remove its snowball potential and punish it much more for clicking Fleur Cannon. Alternatively, making it a once per switch in effect could also work similarly well.
:sm/haxorus:
Name: Haxorus
Type:
Dragon.png
Steel.png

Abilities: No Guard / Mold Breaker / Emergency Exit
New Moves: Steel Beam, Heavy Slam, Hard Press, Smart Strike, Flash Cannon, Metal Claw, Magnet Rise, Thunder Wave, Dragon Rush, Cross Chop, Megahorn, Stone Edge
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: This thing has to compete with 97 other physical Dragon-types, so getting the amazing Dragon/Steel-typing should help with that bit, making it not as scared as Fairies like every other physical Dragon is. Emergency Exit is also neat for Close Combat pivoting, or you run No Guard if you plan on staying in to sweep with DDance or SD, while having a consistent pseudo-Fire Lash in Iron Tail. Also, funny illegal No Guard Guillotine.
:sv/drapion:
Name: Drapion
Type:
Dark.png
Poison.png

Abilities: Poison Touch / Tough Claws | Sand Rush
New Moves: Barb Barrage, Beat Up, Coil, Cross Chop, Gunk Shot, Jaw Lock, Power Trip, Shore Up, Sucker Punch
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Poison / Dark is a great typing with good representatives in OU. Alolan Muk has been done before, so I decided that Drapion could use some time in the spotlight. Sand Rush + Shore Up + Coil + Power Trip is hopefully a good enough niche that it'll see use over the more traditional Dracozolt and Excadrill, and leans into Drapion's flavor as "the Sand Demon". If that is a bust, then good old Tough Claws / Swords Dance boosted Sucker Punches and Knock Offs should do the trick. Poison Touch probably won't see use, but I added it and some other fitting moves to leave room for experimentation.
:sm/shaymin: :sm/shaymin-sky:
Name: Shaymin | Shaymin-Sky (resub with modifs and collab with OSP)
Type: Grass/Ground | Grass/Flying
Abilities: Poison Heal/Serene Grace/Solar Power | No Guard/Wind Power/Solar Power
New Moves: Refresh, Recover, Heal Bell, Earthquake, Stealth Rock, Smack Down, Stone Edge, Power Gem, Parting Shot, Meteor Beam, Hurricane
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Time for a resub!

Shaymin is cute and all, but it's like, bad lol. So, merging both OSP's and my sub in one, this time it's a Grass/Ground Pokemon, with Serene Grace so it can break hard with both Seer Flare and Earth Power. It can also go for Poison Heal, as Grass/Ground is still a kinda cool typing defensively, and rarely seen (only Torterra lol).

Shaymin-Sky is broken solely because of one thing: Serene Grace, giving it 80% chance to drop the opponent's SpD by 2 stages with Seed Flare, and making it into a Flinch machine with Air Slash. With that gone, it now gets No Guard Hurricane, so it can smack the opponent with that Grass/Flying/Rock/Ground coverage, which is really cool and all.
:SV/goodra:
Name: Goodra
Type: Dragon/Water
Abilities
: Sap Sipper / Poison Heal / Gooey
New Moves: Liquidation, Wave Crash, Poison Jab, Dragon Hammer
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Water types goes well with Goodra's association with rain and swamps. Poison Heal helps with its lack of recovery.
:sm/golisopod:
Name: Golisopod
Type: Bug/Water
Abilities: Emergency Exit / Shell Armor | Regenerator
New Moves: Headlong Rush, Slack Off, Wave Crash, Spiky Shield
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: bufflisopod

Discussion phase is open while council sorts out distribution of winning moves and abilities; be sure to join the Discord if you haven't already! Expect Slate 5 sometime Sunday night GMT -5. Lets us know your ideas about general viability of the winners and distribution ideas (Especially distribution cause this gonna take a long-ass time lmao.

So my thoughts about this slate:

:porygon-z: I'll be honest I don't know who wants to use this like... yeah no, maybe I don't get the vision, but I don't see anyone wanting to use that move.
:tornadus: Weaker Hurricane with 100% Acc, if you hate RNG or you really want to run a Sand team or a Snow team I guess (next slate I think I'll try to buff Sand properly, between Pebble Stone, Wind Power/Wind Rider, and this, maybe there is something I don't know).
:coalossal: Tar Shot is cool, and a special Rock move that isn't Ancient Power, Power Gem or Meteor Beam is super cool to have.
:dracovish: Dracovish unban time. I think Dracovish should end up UU or RU at most, it gives a buff in coverage to stuff, it's always cool.

:macho brace: Another Scouting Visitor hey? Cool item that allows for a cool boost for Fighting types, as well as the good ol' Trick/Switcheroo strat.
:trevenant: Could be niche and neat on some stuff that appreciates a Grass type. Watch me use that on Wo-Chien to be stupid.
:protector: Neat item for Rocks resists, could be a really neat item.
:lagging tail: Another neat item that is cool for really slow mons.

:toxapex: I like Merciless so seeing it actually see use is cool and all. I like expanding it, although I would have made it work on every status while we're at it, but Sleep and Freeze aren't seen as much so it's a nitpick.
:beheeyem: Neat concept, unsure how it will be in practice but I like the idea.
:pikachu: Yeah no I don't really buy it like, it seems way too niche to be seriously used. I think I'll try toying with the idea, but while an item makes it immediatly available, you have to spend a turn to setup your new type so idk, it seems even more niche. Reading comprehension is close to 0, I'm too tired for this shit, so I'll change my mind: it could be fun, depending on the abusers.
:slowbro-galar: Gotta be very careful with the distrib, prio on everything is super strong. Should be fine depending on who gets it.
:heracross: You want to click inaccurate moves a lot of times anyway so might as well have a treat. Cool ability.
:aggron: Man did you miss BW that much that you would give Steels their Ghost and Dark resistances back? Joke apart, really neat concept, it could be really cool on some mons.
:magearna: Boy did it really need to get its ability butchered like it wasn't even the most broken part of it, far from it Shift Gear and Self-Repair are way more worrying.

:haxorus: Could be neat, unsure if it's gonna be OU but it's a really cool mon and all.
:drapion: Niche mon, never gonna be OU let's be honest lol. Sand sweeper if Sand becomes real?
:shaymin :shaymin-sky: My sub, collab with OSP. So as a reminder, Poison Heal is my idea, and Serene Grace and No Guard are his ideas. Poison Healer that's gotta be a cool addition to the tier, and I just want to say: I really don't think Shaymin-Sky is gonna be broken. Yes No Guard Hurricane is scary, but it can be walled by bulky Steels and stuff. Hell, I'd be more worried about Z-Celebrate sets.
:goodra: Fatmon, Poison Heal on something this good is no no, and subber forgot but it got Recover. I hate this one.
:golisopod: Still not gonna be viable in OU but cool mon?

MOVES:

- This move is interesting in the fact that this move is likely busted or useless because its users are either a. gonna be bad or b. gonna be viable and ur counterplay is switching smth like slowking-g into it or heatran as many mons just kinda dont bode very well
- The thing about this move is the counterplay is weird. Going to your steel type means you are still being hit by a strong asf move, fortunately I realized mid way through writing this that fire types are prob the best counterplay
- This is a 105 BP no downside move half the time as if you are hitting a resist like ice -> water and fire -> water then you hit then with the electric attack and still doing 105 BP. This move really needs toning down to smth like 30 BP. This is just stronger than many attacks that would give downsides
- Hm, 100% acc but compared to hurricane it is just worse in every way as if you are using this in rain you have 100% acc anyway.
- This move likely needs to be 85 or 90 BP to be as usable as this move is really only that good under hail or snow and we see attacks like that all the time like weather ball, thunder, hurricane, solar beam who are strong but this isnt really strong (a buff to 85 BP prob solves its issues
- Solid attack, needs good distribution because if you have no fire attack to followup I do not se this amounting to much although stronger power gem is always nice and gives them smth to work with (fairy privilege's with moonblast 30% sp. atk drop)
- Good users are smth like heatran potentially, iron moth, victini, and generally fire types are probably going to like this alongside rocks like diancie, nihilego, glimmora, who may appreciate the power boost compared to power gem
- Its my sub so obv bias is slightly here
- I feel it benefits the fang moves quite a bit and allows fast fighting, or fast attackers who may drop this anyway because its so weak outside of the specific things it wants to hit (skarm for garchomp, ferro for mawile, great tusk vs smth like zapdos) or has other ways to hit it (z-stone edge, +2 knock off or brick break, or ice spinner / stone edge)
- This is quite good especially since hyper fang gives fighting types smth in between of brick break and close combat to use esp with 97.5 BP to work with on fast mons isnt bad

Abilities:

- Good, depends on the users tho in no way anything other than gambit may take advantage of it as status on HO is rare and pex wants regen anyway. THis likely needs to be given to users like mega houndoom (mega doom in sun is unused so pls someone test it)
- Smth like hydreigon could act take advantage of it considring the amount of brutal + dark pokemon in this list
- While not particularly interesting in terms of unique effects, this effect is perfectly viable and can work for smth like tapu fini, mega zam (and other smart pokemon)
- 25% less damage is a big deal as it allows you to take a lot of hits you woul not really want to take before, smth doing 60% does 45% now and if the wording is what I think it is considering fishous rend works on switch out then you can likely switch in and take 25% less dmg,, sounds fine
- Camomons? Well not really but I am interested in how they interact, esp with mons who alr have 2 types considering trick or treat adds a 3rd one
- users of this move can quite often benefit from it like by gaining the other type, this can allow them to take advantage of stab on its new type or take advantage of their new defensive capabilities
- Sounds busted but idk what active is defined as... because if it works like speed boost where u need to be active for a turn to get it, then it might work the next turn or how first impression works. this sounds pretty busted with slow, strong attackers
- This also might be meh, smth like sirfetch'ed isnt touching OU with it, nor is half of the other mons, sounds pretty good with u-turn into this then
- Terrakion accept this easily, so does tornadus with their bleakwind storm which means it cna be quite a powerhouse esp with band and specs
- Depending on the distribution it is likely this may end up being pretty good and pushing mons into viability somewhat
- the pokemon will like it, having a ghost resistance is pretty nice and allows more bullying of stuff like NP gholdengo, ceruledge, and pecharunt... yeah nat dex does not really have many good ghosts
- Light metal tho on the other hand has my eye, knock is very very common and being able to sponge it up quite easily is pretty nice. Justified iron crown in vaporemons proved how good it was esp at taking dark attacks
- Simple change, no more ramping up and once per battle means you are only getting to +1 with shift gear magearna, now with double dance you can see smth going but its likely magearna is still gonna bully offense esp with shift gear + z

Items:

- Surely you could have made the number smth I can calc instead of smth odd like 1.3x, ffs even smth like 1.33x will allow me to use tablets of ruin to calc the defense boost and the attack boost via sword of ruin
- Pokemon who may use this sound like smth who may want resistance to ogerpon-w like maybe skarmory, skarmory with grass/steel/flying sounds pretty nice if you avoid fire moves that is esp since electric is neutral, and you also take resisted to water which sounds like a great way to bully rain
- Indeed sounds good, smth like toxapex may have a lot of fun with this, or gholdengo, maybe even alomomola who can tank hits a lot better, sounds nice
- There are many potential users who may ditch an item like helmet for a 0.75x damage taken item that makes them much tankier and little downside
- Gambit really goes ham with this, esp bulkier sets can have brutally powerful sucker punches
- If this works like analytic then forcing your opponent out also works while smth like flex off buzzwole, will have a lot of fun with this, or enamorus-therian

Adjustments:

- Likely OU Viable, dont think its broken as SS OU theorymon is way diff than this tier, esp since it has stuff like high tier skarm, ferro, lando-t, great tusk, ting lu, moltres, slowbro, etc
- Heavy Slam + No Guard Dragon Rush sounds pretty nuts with DD but generally feels easy to revenge kill thanks to being still meh speed at +1 which allows many mons to clap it
- CB emergency exit sets sound pretty nice esp with cc, or scale shot.
- Solid pursuiter esp with shore up to check many psychic and ghost types
- Knock off + p touch sounds pretty nice against fat, you easily force progress against steels thanks to this while smth like alomomola, rotom-w,lando-t, great tusk, and more doesnt want to take a lot of chip via poison
- Likely to be ok in OU due to these traits
- BAse shaymin seems to be very viable, grass ground offensively is pretty good and esp with hp ice you can hit stuff such as latias, dragonite, while hp fire will hit ferro and m sciz for you
- Serene grace seed flare sounds like an easy way to break through most mons and cannot forget those other moves like earth power with a 20% sp. def drop rate or a 60% confusion rate with hurricane
- No guard shaymin-s sounds fun esp as a fast attacker, Seed flare + hurircane sounds like a neat combo to work with
- Solar power means solar beam + hurricane can also work fairly well (or air slash if acc is reduced)
- Wind power also means that with a +1 sp. atk you can function as a solid breaker against the tier esp in sand
- Sounds ridiculously good, top tier even because this is very hard to take down, although how much it can take advantage of this is hard to say because it is passive as balls and with acid armor + body press it maybe can be hard to take down, idk. We will see
- No pivoting is unfortunate
- Having Slack off + regen makes it have pretty good longetivity and makes it a pretty good sweeper esp when you pair it with SD, aqua jet, leech life, and other forms of moves it has. It is a pretty unique typing and can take on some unique pokemon in the tier esp with its large phys def
- It also spams spikes, so yeah, this mon will be hard to spin on cuz great tusk cant touch it without stone edge
