Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Furialgon [Braviary] (M)
Type: Normal / Flying
HP: 52
EN: 78%
Item: Life Orb [+3 BAP]
Stats: 6/3/1/3/80 SC: 3 WC: 3
Ability: Sheer Force
Status: FRZ (0c)
Field Effects: None!
Focus Blast has 100% accuracy, and the base power of Aura Sphere and Hidden Power is raised by (2). It is very easy to focus one-self's soul in this place.
Will-O-Wisp has 100% accuracy. There are always wisps floating around to provide decent enough fodder for this wicked spell.
Pain Split has its base energy cost reduced by (2), and all draining attacks are empowered as if the Pokemon were holding Big Root, but without incurring the extra energy cost (this effect doesn't stack with Big Root itself). Life energies are easier to drain and consume in this place.
All Pokemon's max HP are reduced to 90. The aura of sorrow which permeates this place withers the strength and the resolve of all the Pokemon battling in its surroundings - even Ghost-types.
There are some leftover scrap parts, scattered around the arena. Rotom can tap into them, raising its Special Attack and Special Defense by 1 rank as long as it stays in its original form (without any appliance).
Cyric had set his mind to avenge Ibrandul, and he has done that, and is looking for more. The challenger is left with his final pokemon, But one who is among the most feared in his Gym. Will Dari come good for the Challenger?
Night Slash~Bite~Crunch

Dari has no item, and is considerably weakened. Who will the Gym Leader send out to clean up after Cyric? Most probably, we would witness the might of Grumbar. However, the Leader might have different plans for the climax.
Drapion uses Night Slash!

Dari sees that she is not going to win the damage race so she is trying to minimize the SE moves against her. This is a good strategy to Troll the Gym Leader, but what does it achieve for the challenger?
Dari seems quite pleased to have survived the last round though; and as everyone in the arena are wondering about the Dark Gym Leader's plays, he is standing in his side of the arena with no expression on his face.

Dari misses her item a lot, and couldn't get any critical hits and she was confused all the while. Although she did manage to get out of confusion on two instances and land blow after blow on Grumbar. But still it was not enough for a knock out.
This battle has been cruel to the challenger on two instances, all the while benefiting the Gym Leader. The critical hits this round didn't matter as Dari would have been Knocked out anyway. But the most important hax that went to the Gym Leader was the full paralysis.
Well you win some and you lose some, and as folks say, third time is the charm? Or Hax favors the brave?
Taking nothing away from the Gym Leader, he has battled steadily and consistently throughout the battle to defeat the dark lord once again. Consistency does matter, doesn't it?
Thank you all for coming here today, we wish to see you again at a different battle. Until then, Cheers!
It's important to be tough and resilient when you battle, don't you think? You have to accept that both sides will get hurt. You have to understand that the pain of losing is a natural outcome. If you just focus on winning, you can forget that the bond between you and your Pokémon is the most important thing. I try to focus on that bond in my novels. I want them to be full of heart and soul!
