Pet Mod Generation X - The Next Chapter (Region 4: Brunica) [Slate 12: Pseudo-Legendary + Exceptional Evolution]

Should we have a Generational Gimmick akin to Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamax and Terastalizaiton?

Azhdashti: Looks like we have our Magikarp-to-Gyarados equivalent. I would like to stress (and I'm fairly certain the folks over at Paleomons or Fusion Evolution also gave you this earful as well) that Brunica does not follow Scarlet & Violet's list of TMs. We have our own set of Universals, check the bloody spreadsheet, thank you.
Alicheron: I should have expressed this the last time you subbed it, but it would be preferable if you had two different moves (that also includes by type) introduced with the line. Even in the mainline games, very few mons have new moves of the same type and category that shared equal spotlight (Blue Flare and Fusion Flare, for example). Change or remove one of the new moves.

Alicheron family: The first of the two moves (Jousting Horn) has been changed to Iron Strike from Desvega. I think for a family associated in part with mining and ore refinery, a move related to smithing would make sense. I decided to retain Gold Rush because it fits the gameplay style for this line, Rock Head especially.
Squamhalia family: Initially, I more or less copy-pasted Azhdashti directly from my sub of it for the Fakemon Frontier pet mod and didn't get the time to edit it due to being busy IRL at the time, which may explain why I unwittingly left the Scarlet/Violet TMs list in (the Fakemon Frontier mod uses the SV meta). I've partly rectified this by defining Squamhalia's movepool as well, but given my time constraint's I've left the TMs (aside from the "All universal TMs/Tutors" bit) listed as [TBA] for now until I can check the spreadsheet in depth. I will do the same for the TMs/Tutors for any other submission going forward that was originally posted in a different pet mod, along with editing its format style to match what is warranted for this one. (Also it was Palaeomons that told me off for that one - I haven't participated in Fusion Evolution.)

Third sub review, could be the last because activity appears to be slowing down. You have 48 hours starting from this post to complete existing / add new subs.
You have acknowledged the original artists and given credit, so - for me at least - there isn't an issue.
Minihorn, Batteram
Normal/Rock type is a normal rock.

Onto nominations:
Skarmory - Perfect for the mountains. Add 20 additional points to Attack, giving it a BST of 485 and an Attack stat of 100. Replace the Keen Eye ability with Sharpness, and give it Blade Runner as a new starting move.
Numel and Camerupt - An homage to the fact that camelids used to exist in prehistoric North America, plus New Brunswick actually has a volcano.
Aron, Larion, and Aggron - Steel/Rock iron-eating mountain-dweller, need I say more?
Carment, Shaftar, and Caverlisk from Desvega - Also an obvious choice giving New Brunswick's mining industry
Doloice from Desvega - Rock-type that could be found on cold mountaintops
Again, each person can nominate up to two evolutionary families per slate. I have already nominated Doloice, while Skarmory gets a provisional pass because you are introducing a cross-gen pre-evo for it (assuming that wins, though; if Skarmini doesn't win then Skarmony will not be part of the dex and none of its changes will be carried out). You'll have to choose between the Camerupt line, the Aggron line and the Caverlisk line among your remaining nominations and remove one of the listed, else none of them will be part of the dex.

Before we begin the voting stage for this Cavern & Mountain slate, let the record show the initial returning mons who will join the Brunican Dex:
  • The Onix line (Both can now learn Power Trick, Steelix's Rock Head is swapped with Sand Rush and gets an exclusive Balm Move)
  • The Zubat line (All members now additionally have the new Echolocation Ability, and Crobat gets an exclusive Balm move)
  • Doloice
  • the Humbat line (all members get Psychic Noise, Echologos gets +10 buff to its Speed)
  • Absol (Gets +10 buff to its SpA and Spe)
  • The Slugma line (Saunusca additionally gets an exclusive Balm move)
  • The Numel line
  • The Carment line
  • The Drilbur line
  • The Rockruff line (Lycanroc-Midday gets a +10 buff to its Atk & Speed, the Normal type, its HA Steadfast swapped to Inner Focus, and can now learn Extreme Speed; Lycanroc-Midnight gets a +10 buff to its Atk & Speed, the Dark type, its Ability Vital Spirit swapped for Hot-Headed, and can now learn Pursuit; Lycanroc-Dusk gets a +10 buff to its Def and Sp.Def, the Ground-type, the Hidden Ability Vigilante (I'm going to chalk this as an Ability Patch exclusive in-game, since Own Tempo Rockruff, to my knowledge, don't have a HA), and can now learn Earthquake.

This is an unranked voting poll. The order of your preferences does not matter. You may vote for up to five submissions, with counterparts considered as one vote together which is not available in this particular scenario. Each vote is worth one point; self-votes are worth two points, limited to one per user, must be accompanied with (SV) and permitted only if you have voted for at least two submissions belonging to others. Failure to properly mark your self-vote will result in said vote being disqualified, and only the first five votes will be counted if you vote for more than five. The submissions with the top three amount of votes will become part of the dex.

Your voting options are as follows:

Canlumi line
Nintynon line
Snoshi line
Amotilus family
Sowlixi line
Komantile
Knockit line
Bigsoot line
Sleddo line {Convergent Skiddo}
Lokolmotive + Rolycoly line
Brunican Tangela line
Brunican Ponyta line
Sqamhalia line
Skarmini + Skarmory buff (+20 Atk, its Ability Keen Eye swapped for Sharpness, and can now learn Blade Runner)
Mabass line
Minihorn line
Ovisset line
Troglobat family
Amphipool line

This poll will be open for at least 36 hours, and may be extended or reduced depending on forum activity.

Amotilus family 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 5
Komantile 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 5
Amphipool line 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 5
Sleddo line 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 7
Ovisset line 1 + 1 = 2
Sqamhalia line 2 + 1 + 1 = 4
Mabass line 1 + 2 = 3
Bigsoot line 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 6
Brunican Ponyta line 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 6
Skarmini 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 5
Nintyon line 1 + 1 = 2
Troglobat family 1
As you can confirm, the top submissions in terms of vote numbers are the Sleddo line by Ema Skye with 7 points, the Bigsoot line by Flareth13 and the Brunican Ponyta line by Falchion with 6 points, the Amotilus family by Ubertrainer2000, Komantile by yours truly, the Amphipool line by anaconja, Skarmini (and by extension, Skarmory gets a +20 buff to its Atk, its Ability Keen Eye swapped to Sharpness, and can now learn Blade Runner) also by Falchion with 4 points. These seven lines will be part of the Brunican dex.

Starting from the next voting slate, in the scenario of a overwhelming amount of (defined, based on Samtendo's previous judgement, as five evolutionary families or more) second-or-third place by the time the voting slate ends, subs will be tiebroken first by amount of people who contributed to the vote of that sub, and then by how early the sub was first voted for (which you can tell because I usually organise the results by vote order.)

Discussion phase is now in effect, sub winners, please provide an up-to-date info about your subs, including movepools ({required} listed in lvl -> egg/mirror herb -> TM -> Tutor ->{optionally} complete list of all its moves), height & weight in Metres and Kilograms, not feet or pounds. Anyone aside from the submission winners (including newcomers, I have seen a lot of names who are only viewing the thread) are welcome to contribute by providing dex entries and/or competitive movesets. (the latter I am considering to make mandatory if I end up making the majority of movesets again...)

Height: 0.45 m
Weight: 12.4 lbs

Egg Moves (Flying**): Air Cutter, Drill Peck, Drill Run, Feint, Iron Defense, Night Slash, Rock Slide, Roost, Sky Attack, Whirlwind

* After a lot of talk with a few other members on the Discord server, I lost faith in Shell Smash because Skarmory already has a lot going for it without having to bank on it - Swords Dance and Agility cover its boosting moves just fine. To this end, please replace Shell Smash in Skarmini's movepool with Slack Off. Skarmini and Skarmory do learn Roost as well, but using that causes them to lose their Flying type which leaves them vulnerable to Ground-type opponents, which isn't a problem with Slack Off.

** Skarmory only - Skarmini is a Baby Pokémon and is thus in the Undiscovered egg group.

Well, well, this result is shocking, I'd never expect the Amotillus family to be the winners among my five entries...I had designed those as a test for branched evolutions. But, they have passed with flying colors, and now their complete movepools will get them ready to join Ferrustle and the rest of the Brunica pals! So hold onto your seats...this is going to be a long one.
First up, the movepools!

Next, here are the Pokédex entries for each new Pokémon:
Amotilus, the Color Shell Pokémon: Height: 1'08" Weight: 44.1 lbs.
Residing in underground lakes, this Pokémon feeds on the colours of gems, turning them into colourless rocks. The colours that make up it's shell are unstable and constantly react with each other.
Raatilus, the Bravery Pokémon: Height: 2'4" Weight: 195.8 lbs.
The pigments of a red flute stabilized this Pokémon's shell. An extremely brave Pokémon, it will go into areas that other Pokémon would be scared of, even if it results in it's demise.
Blootilus, the Water Drain Pokémon: Height: 2'4" Weight: 195.8 lbs.
The playing of a blue flute awakened this Pokémon's hidden rage. It will viciously attack people and drain them of their water, turning them into shrivelled husks.
Yletilus, the Moon's Phase Pokémon: Height: 2'4" Weight: 195.8 lbs.
It's shell having been stabilized by the pigments used to create a yellow flute, it moves it's disks in front of it's shell according to the moon phase to predict when the tides will come in. Thus, they're a common partner among astronomers.
Acktilus, the False Dragon Pokémon: Height: 2'4" Weight: 195.8 lbs.
From a distance, it looks just like the head of a fearsome dragon. Using the two tips on it's arms, it scares Pokémon away by making them think that the dragon is roaring.
Whiltilus, the Multi-Head Pokémon: Height: 2'4" Weight: 195.8 lbs.
Each of it's different heads has a different taste, which is a remnant of it's once unstable colours. It's rumoured that each head can predict a different month of the year merely by looking at the food it tastes.
Then, here are some example movesets, one for each one....

Oh, and one more thing: After looking back at Ammolite Vortex...one based off Hyper Beam and Giga Impact will have 225 Power, while one based off Explosion will have 375 Power, both with no drawbacks!!! Given the fact it ignores resistances and immunities, I have made a slight change to it to balance it out: It will now fail if the target does not have any of the user's types, just like Synchronoise, meaning, for example, with Raatilus, it will only hit Fire, Rock, and Normal types by default. In addition, it no longer ignores immunities, so Ghosts can wall it out.
Update:
Shell Smash + Stored Power 150 Special Attack?! No thank you! Both problematic moves have been replaced. (In short, the line no longer gets Shell Smash, and Whiltilus no longer gets Stored Power)

Slate 7: Welcome to the jungle, we got fun and games~
{Forests & Tundras Slate}
:SV/Swablu::SV/Abomasnow::SV/Ribombee::SV/Trevenant::SV/Basculin-White-Striped:

Forests are a staple environment found in many Pokémon mainline games, be it where most of us have caught our first Bug-types or in search of rarer items. Keep your eyes peeled around - just like in real life, the type diversity of those who make their homes in these diamond-dusted arbor lands are very varied.

Rules:
  • For this free slate, the mandatory flavour criteria is that your submission(s) are among the options utilised by Campers or Rangers;, two Trainer classes whose specialties are Pokemon found in these areas. Campers never had a set specialty while Rangers branched out from being mono-grass to a wide variety. As usual, failure to include proper explanations will automatically disqualify your submission.
  • Regional forms/Evolutions (ex. :Zigzagoon-Galar: :Linoone-Galar: :Obstagoon::Wooper-Paldea: :Clodsire:), ecological similar Pokemon (ex.:Toedscool::Toedscruel:), and cross-gen additions to existing Pokémon such as Baby Pokémon or new-stage evolutions (ex.:Azurill: :Annihilape:) are permitted.
  • While submissions in every free slate have a hard BST limit of 550, you should not be intentionally aiming at or above this threshold unless you have both valid competitive handicaps and flavour justifications for your intended sub. (ex. :Slaking: :Archeops:) The BST average of the vast majority of final evolutions and/or single stages tends to peak around 525, so this is the power level you should realistically aim at or below.
  • Pseudo-Legendaries (ex. :Dragapult::Goodra-Hisui:) and Exceptional Evolutions (ie. :Archaludon:) cannot be submitted until their designated slate, which will likely be one of the final slates.
Name: Subs with no given name are ineligible to be voted.
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Write the names of the previous stage or counterparts of the Pokemon, if applicable. For pre-evos, instead write the evolution method.
Typing: Remember to respect the rules of the ongoing slate; you may use these link for images: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png.
Ability: Ability 1 / Ability 2 | Hidden Ability
Base Stats: HP / Atk / Def / SpA / SpD / Spe (BST) These can be written in any configuration you want, the important thing is that it also fits with slate-specific and general rules. New pre-evolutions’ BST have to be lower than the original, while evolutions’ BST is usually higher; for regional or convergent forms, their BST must match.
Height + Weight: How tall the Pokémon is in Meters (m) + how heavy the Pokémon is in Kilograms (kg). While the former is optional, the latter is required for weight-based moves.
Notable Moves: List the moves that this Pokémon will learn, both viable and flavor moves, though the former is more important. Once your submission is voted in, you will create a full movepool for it in the discussion phase.
Flavor (Required): Describe the lore/flavor/design of your Pokémon, why is it found here in Brunica? What connection does it have to Canada?
*Custom Elements:
Name: Try to use distinct combinations of words never used before for moves in Pokémon games, double-check on Showdown or Serebii.
Power: [Base Power of the Move, should be a multiple of 5]
Type: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png
Category: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/categories/Category.png (Physical, Special or Status)
Base Power: try to balance this, PP, effect and accuracy; only multiples of 5 are allowed as values.
Accuracy: write -- if it ignores accuracy and evasion checks; must be multiple of 5
Power Points: specify just the max PP if you want; allowed values are 1, 8, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64.
Effect: What the move does, including how many targets. Note that while custom elements are allowed, they should be distinct from already existing abilities/moves introduced as of SV and/or Desvega, and are relatively simple to code (Which means no more custom field effects, we just introduced a new (Poison) terrain in Desvega and a 'Primal Reversion' terrain in Lutakon. Also, if you think it's codable but the coding team disagrees, then you'd better be prepared to code it yourself if it wins.)
Priority: (Optional) The priority bracket of the move. Unless specified, it is assumed to have the standard priority of 0.
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): [Specify which flags the move has. A full list can be found in the spreadsheet.]
Distribution: Specify if the move is exclusive to a particular evolutionary line; otherwise, list the criteria of Pokémon that are eligible to receive the submitted move.
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing move, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. Note that any changes you propose will carry to the Move you suggested only, not to any similar Moves. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Move introduced in any Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.
Name: Try to use combinations of words never used before in Pokémon games, double-check on Showdown or Serebii.
Effect: While custom elements are allowed, they should be distinct from already existing abilities/moves introduced as of Gen IX and/or Desvega and relatively simple to code (Which means no more custom field effects, we just introduced a new (Poison) terrain in Desvega and a 'Primal Reversion' terrain in Lutakon. Also, if you think it's codable but the coding team disagrees, then you'd better be prepared to code it yourself if it wins.)
Permanent (Yes or No): [Specify whether or not the ability can't be suppressed, Skill Swapped, or copied]
Ignorable (Yes or No): [Specify whether or not the ability is ignored by Mold Breaker]
Distribution: Specify if the Ability is exclusive to a particular evolutionary line; otherwise, list the criteria of Pokémon that are eligible to receive the submitted ability.
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing Ability, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. Note that any changes you propose will carry to the Ability you suggested only, not to any similar Abilities. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Ability introduced in any Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.
Name: [Name of the item]
Effect: [What the item does, these should not be similar to any existing and relevant competitive items]
Can Be Removed (Yes or No): (Specify whether or not the item can be stolen or Knocked Off)
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): (Specify whether or not the item's effect is ignored by Klutz)
Fling Power & Effect: (The BP of Fling when used with this item and what secondary effect it could additionally have, like :Light Ball: causing paralysis)
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing Item, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Item introduced in a previous Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.

As previously noted, for every free slate such as this comes more regional dex nominations. You may additionally nominate up to two existing non-legendary nor mythical Pokemon families introduced in the mainline games or in a previous Gen X iteration as part of the initial "pre-dlc" regional dex. Counterparts (:Passimian::Oranguru:) and regional exclusive evos (:Mr. Rime::Clodsire:) serve as two distinct lines, other regional forms (:Marowak-Alola::Stunfisk-Galar::Tauros-Paldea:) count as one. Their final stages (or if they are a single stage) can additionally undergo adjustments to be buffed (if you feel they are undervalued) or nerfed (if you feel they are overpowered), just like a certain Pet Mod... [This serves akin to balance buffs as done by GF, such as :Rotom: forms becoming different from Electric/Ghost, :Gallade: getting Sharpness, :Shiftry: swapping Early Bird for Wind Rider, :Slowking: getting Chilly Reception, :Mantine: gaining +20 HP, and of course, :Aegislash: losing -20 to its BST. No, this is not us treading new ground, :Scovillain: was the forerunner to this idea.]
Name: [Name of the Pokémon]
Type: For mono-type Pokemon, you may either add or change the current type to another type, not both. For dual-type Pokemon, one of their original types must remain.
Stats
: Each stat change must be a multiple of 10. Up to a 20 point change from the original BST is permitted; the Pokemon is entitled to a buff if its BST is 470 or below; it is otherwise entitled to a nerf if its BST is 500 or above.
Abilities: For Pokemon with two Abilities, you may add another. For Pokemon with three, you are permitted to swap out one of their existing abilities. Ability changes are not permitted on a Pokemon with one singular Ability. Alternatively, you can rework one of their existing Abilities provided it has not already been reworked by someone else already. See the Ability template above.
Moves Changes: Up to four moves may be added and removed, adding to a total of eight moves. Alternatively, you can rework one of the moves they can learn, provided it has not already been subject to a rework already. See the template above.
Justification: [Explain in detail (as in, more than two sentences for each point) on why these changes should be added, both competitive AND flavour wise. Lack of either will disqualify the adjustment from being slated.]

This slate will last for at least 168 hours, and may be extended or reduced depending on forum activity.

Name: Menteseng (Mentee + Mental + ginseng)
Evolutionary Members: Geneseng (Leaf Stone)
Typing: Grass
Ability: Curious Medicine / Own Tempo / Regenerator (HA)
Base Stats: 50 / 30 / 65 / 50 / 60 / 45 (300)
Height + Weight: 0.3m / 7kg
Flavour/Design: Based on American Ginseng, which Canada is the largest producer and exporter of in the world. Brought over by merchants from Jiaquo the east, Menteseng used to be a bountiful sight whose roots are utilised as herbal medicine until the conflict between Akulut & Wendora devastated their numbers. Their bitter taste is believed to be a symptom of the generational trauma sustained by their endangerment centuries ago.

Name: Geneseng (Genesis + ginseng)
Typing: Grass / Fairy
Ability: Curious Medicine / Prankster | Regenerator
Base Stats: 95 / 60 / 85 / 100 / 120 / 55 (515)
Notable Moves: Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Leaf Storm, Aromatherapy, Grassy Terrain, Ingrain, Leech Seed, Strength Sap, Play Rough, Draining Kiss, Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Moonlight, Knock Off, Foul Play, Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot, Taunt, Psyshock, Psychic, Mirror Coat, Trick Room, Acupressure, Encore, Metronome, Nature Power, Pain Split, Mud Slap, Earth Power, Smack Down, Ancient Power, Ice Spinner, Ice Beam
Height + Weight: 2m / 80kg
Flavour/Design: Based on American Ginseng, which Canada is the largest producer and exporter of in the world. Everseng are often recruited for their presence in stressful places like hospitals, schools, and workplaces, as well as in temples and places where people meditate or worship, using their roots to take on the physical and mental trauma of others, for no apparent reason than to extend their natural lifespans. Unlike their counterparts in the East, taking on these traumas has not helped their own, resulting in a dissonant whimsy.
Fun fact, in terms of traditional Chinese medicine, American Ginseng is associated with yin, which anyone who has wondered about Reshiram and Zekrom knows it relates to darkness and the cold. Hey, just like our legendaries!
Disclaimer: The making of this sub is merely used as shameless promotion of a region that will hopefully exist as an early cameo. It is not meant as an endorsement of actual traditional medicine, always consult your local medical practitioner before attempting to try it out.
Effect: After damaging a target, no opposing Pokemon can use the same moves as the user.
Distribution: Eversage requires a Psychic Balm and knowing a damaging Psychic-type move to use Mental Extract.
Effect: The damage dealt by HP-draining moves is increased by 30%. The HP restored by Aqua Ring/Ingrain/Leech Seed/Strength Sap is increased by 30%.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10 BP, inflicts Ingrain.
Justification: (Mostly) stolen from VaporeMons, I'll let Yoshiblaze themself explain why this buff is good. The new Fling effect makes it so that you can try to trap something in, but at the cost of potentially healing an opponent.
Effect: Whenever the Pokemon enters the battle, the negative stat stages of all allied Pokémon are reset to be neutral and heals any non-volatile status conditions they may have.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Ignorable (Yes or No): No
Distribution: Everseng, Galarian Slowking, Healing-themed.
Justification: Glowking's signature Ability is underwhelming. Rather than an outright Haze, I decided to make it similar to the White Herb instead, and threw in the status condition healing as well.
Name: Brrmanook (Brrr + Permafrost + nanook {Inuit name for polar bear})
Obtaining: Use an Ice Stone on Beartic during diamond dust in the overworld.
Typing: Ice / Ghost
Ability: Frost Cloak / Slush Rush | Swift Swim
Base Stats: 100 / 130 / 80 / 90 / 90 / 55 (545 BST)
Notable Moves: Beartic's movepool + Mountain Gale, Freeze-Dry, Drain Fang, Phantom Force, Poltergeist, Hex, Shadow Ball, Hydro Pump
Height + Weight: 3.6 m / 390.5 kg
Flavour/Design: Based additionally on the Kermode bear, aka the Spirit bear, the official provincial mammal of British Columbia.
Name: Klawyx (Claw + Calyx + Klawf)
Typing
: Grass / Steel
Ability: Mimicry / Stakeout
Base Stats: 70 / 100 / 115 / 35 / 55 / 55 (450)
Notable Moves: Bush Claws, Energy Ball, Shrapnel Shot*, Metal Claw, Iron Head, Iron Defense, Body Press, X-Scissor
Height + Weight: 3.6 m / 390.5 kg
Flavour/Design: Based on the goldenrod crab spider or flower (crab) spider (admittedly, this is the species that popped up during my research; I'm not certain if this is the specific variety of crab spider Samtendo was referring). It's sorta of an inverse Sudowoodo in this case, though the effectiveness is up to you to decide.
Power: 15
Type: Steel
Category: Physical
Base Power: 16
Accuracy: 85
Power Points: 24
Effect: Hits three times, with each consecutive hit adding 15 BP. Sets up Sharp Steel after the last hit.
Flags: Ballistic [Specify which flags the move has. A full list can be found in the spreadsheet.]
Distribution: Klawyx, Steel-types.

My nomination for this slate is the Pichat line. I originally intended to give Raichat its own regional form, but aside from stats, nothing clicked right. As a compromise, it gets a new Balm move. (Also, because Samtendo never actually contributed their complete movepools, I'll give my hand to flesh out everything as well)
Effect: All Pokémon on the user's side of the field are protected from all effects of physical and special moves for the rest of that turn. If Thunder Armor blocks an attack that would make contact, the attacker becomes paralysed (unless they are immune). In addition, the power of the user's next damaging move will be doubled. Thunder Armor cannot be selected consecutively.
Distribution: The Pichat line holding an Electric Balm and knowing a Status Electric-type move.

Stats: 95/110/105(+10)/40/95/65 (+10) (BST 510)
Abilities: Reckless/Sap Sipper/Rock Head (over Soundproof)
Moves Changes:
+Trailblaze, Head Smash, Supercell Slam, Return/Frustration, Dread Stampede (Exclusive Balm Move activated by holding a Dark Balm. Protect Flag. Ignores the opponent's stat changes.)

Justification: Bison can be found in Canada, but Bouffalant is a really underwhelming Pokemon so I decided to give it a bit of a boost. Giving it some Reckless-boosted/Rock Head ignored coverage options that can help it along without it (hopefully) being too overbearing. I also gave it a Balm Move (though not off of a recoil move because that'd be kinda spicy) that functions like Darkest Lariat.

The Vullaby line.

I’m nominating the Snover line (which goes untouched) and Thermonewt to return; Canada is a boreal region with evergreens galore after all, and is also host to plenty of newt species, plus hot summers/cold winters was mentioned in the original Brunica post. I originally nominated the Cubchoo line over the Snover line but it seems we have a Beartic Evo subbed.
Pokémon: Thermonewt
Moves Changes: +Chilling Water, Frost Feint
Justification: Switches between Ice and Water, so Chilling Water is naturally added for flavor. Salamanders are amphibians just like frogs, so to compensate for its middling speed it gains another pivoting option, this one being one of its STAB types.
Anyway now for regional variants of another Lorian line, this variant based on the Fireweed
:sunkern::bellossom::marowak-alola::pumpkaboo::zorua-hisui:
(as a heads up if image links don’t work it’s because I don’t have external image links for the Lorian variants outside of Discord; The art both image links were meant to link to was done by the line’s original creator Samtendo09)
Name: Firack-Brunica
Typing:
Ghost.png
Grass.png

Ability: Flash Fire / Synchronize
Base Stats: 53 / 78 / 48 / 53 / 88 / 58 (383) (-5 Def/Spe, +10SpD from Lorian)
Moves:
Level-Up: Sand Attack, Tackle, Leer, Astonish, Absorb, Razor Leaf, Shadow Punch, Ominous Wind, Shadow Claw, Firework Leaf, Phantom Force, Scorching Sands
Egg (Grass / Human-Like): Aromatherapy, Charm, Petal Dance, Petal Blizzard, Focus Punch, Spiky Shield, Flame Charge, Haze
TMs/Tutor - Take Down, Calm Mind, Hidden Power, Sandstorm, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Ice Beam, Venoshock, Light Screen, Protect, Safeguard, Frustration, Solar Beam, Return, Shadow Ball, Double Team, Psychic, Swift, Helping Hand, Facade, Trailblaze, Rest, Attract, Grassy Terrain, Foul Play, Energy Ball, False Swipe, Will-O-Wisp, Drain Punch, Shadow Claw, Earth Power, Zen Headbutt, Swords Dance, Hex, Bulldoze, Retaliate, Natural Gift, Dragon Tail, Poison Jab, U-Turn, Substitute, Trick Room, Nature Power, Dark Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Breaking Swipe, Defog, Encore, Fire Punch, Giga Drain, Ice Punch, Knock Off, Leech Seed, Snatch, Pain Split, Thunder Punch, Trick
Height + Weight: 0.4m / 4.5kg
New Features: Ominous Wind is now a Wind move.
Flavour/Design: While similar in appearance to the common form, its head is pink and cyan instead of orange and red, with dark indigo on its body instead of green. The pink tuft in the common Firack’s head is white here instead. Brunician Firack also looks more “ethereal” and ghostly aside from these changes. While the Lorian variant once populated Brunica, the Heartless Ruin Pokémon (read: Akulut) extirpated it, leading to the variant seen in Brunica today. When another Pokémon is done rampaging, this Firack variant comes to tend to the victims’ souls, with more arriving the more casualties there are. Attempted interference leads to Brunician Firack using its fireworks to startle attackers, which are now more ghostly than thermal.
Potential Competitive Role: Me when the LC

Brunician Firack evolves into Brunician Fiarsho when exposed to a Dusk Stone.

Name: Fiarsho-Brunica
Typing:
Ghost.png
Grass.png

Ability: Flash Fire / Synchronize
Base Stats: 73 / 108 / 63 / 73 / 128 / 88 (533) (-10 Atk/Spe, +10SpA/SpD from Lorian)
Moves:
Level-Up: (Firack’s are available via relearner, it gains Firework Leaf on evolution) Bullet Seed, Solar Blade, Last Respects (nerfed), Healing Wish
TMs/Tutor: (Moves Firack already got are omitted) Psyshock, Earthquake, Overheat, Flamethrower, Focus Blast, Nasty Plot, Thunder Wave, Low Kick, Throat Chop
Height + Weight: 0.4m / 4.5kg
New Features: Last Respects has 40% of the power compared to SV, starting at 20BP and gaining 20BP for each fainted teammate.
Purifying Blaze requires Brunician Fiarsho to use a Fire Balm and replaces its damaging Fire-type moves. Upon successfully using it, the user’s team is completely cured of statuses.
Flavour/Design: Just like its prevo, it bears a great resemblance to the common form, with the similar color scheme alterations and ghostly vibes, such as having white legs. It also looks much more mellow than its common counterpart, eyes typically mostly closed, and case in point has a much calmer demeanor. When there are countless victims of a disaster and countless restless souls are about, this Fiarsho will appear to provide a spectacular performance to give them the rest they need. They also deliver such performances if they outlive their trainers.
Potential Competitive Role: Can wreak havoc with Swords Dance or run Fire Balm or Aromatherapy to serve as a cleric. I originally thought of making it Fire/Ghost or Fire/Ground but we already have physical attackers of those types in Wildpyre and Smeltusk respectively. While the nerfed Last Respects would be much more manageable, it’s still gonna hit quite hard when the chips are down.

speaking of bears...

Name: Mimikursa [mimikyu + Teddiursa]
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Mimiring / Mimiluna | Teddiursa, Ursaring, Ursaluna
Typing: Ghost/Normal
Ability: Fluffy
Base Stats: 39 / 63 / 56 / 35 / 74 / 63 [330]
Height + Weight: 0.6m / 0.7kg
Notable Moves: Cotton Guard, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Claw, Charm, Pain Split, Bulk Up, Thunder Wave, Swords Dance, Will-o-Wisp, Play Rough, Destiny Bond, Trick, Poltergeist, Body Slam, Earthquake, Close Combat, Belly Drum, Gunk Shot, Wild Charge
Flavor (Required): What appears to be a stuffed teddy bear appears to be so much more. The popularity of Teddiursa in the Brunica region has spurred many trying to take advantage of monetizing its popularity, when all of a sudden, a vengeful replica showed up outside a department store. Researchers were quick to hypothesize that this Pokemon is a relative of Mimikyu. However, upon trying to open the teddy bear, they were met with a brutal fate.

Name: Mimiring [mimikyu + Ursaring]
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Mimiring / Mimiluna | Teddiursa, Ursaring, Ursaluna
Typing: Ghost/Normal
Ability: Fluffy
Base Stats: 57 / 95 / 85 / 53 / 110 / 100 [500]
Height + Weight: 1.8m / 1.7kg
Notable Moves: Above
Flavor (Required): Think awkward teenager but as a teddy bear. It's annoyed it isn't cute anymore and is learning to control all the power that comes with its new body. As it has been forced out of Brunica's towns, as they are scared of it now, it walks amongst the Ursaring in an attempt to learn their ways. A mimic's job is never done, I guess.

Name: Mimiluna [mimikyu + Ursaluna]
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Mimiring / Mimiluna | Teddiursa, Ursaring, Ursaluna
Typing: Ghost/Ground
Ability: Eclipse [Takes half damage from Ghost, Dark and Fairy moves]
Base Stats: 62 / 105 / 94 / 58 / 121 / 110 [550]
Height + Weight: 2.4m / 3.8kg
Notable Moves: Above + Headlong Rush, High Horsepower, Moonlight, Body Press, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Supercell Slam
Flavor (Required): Evolves from Mimiring based on personality constant when leveling up at night with high friendship (like Maushold - this is the common form). The grey pelt on its back looks like cotton pouring out, representing the mimic's loss of power as it evolved. The friendship it has built with the trainer has pushed it to

Name: Mimiluna-Bloodmoon
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Mimiring / Mimiluna | Teddiursa, Ursaring, Ursaluna
Typing: Ghost/Ground
Ability: Eclipse [Takes half damage from Ghost, Dark and Fairy moves]
Base Stats: 45 / 83 / 109 / 100 / 106 / 112 [555]
Height + Weight: 2.7m / 4.3kg
Notable Moves: Earth Power, Shadow Ball, Moonblast, Thunderbolt, Focus Blast (Shared with the above form, but these moves weren't as notable due to stat spread)
Flavor (Required): This is the rarer evolution. Despite being a friendship evolution, it appears to be exceptionally angry. This form is bipedal and appears to resemble a form of Ursaluna found only in Kitakami. As researchers are also unsure how the Kitakami Ursarluna evolved, many have flocked to Brunica to see if Mimiluna may hold the secret.

Nominations:
:teddiursa: - is bear and also helps with Mimikursa lore. bears are everywhere in Canada.
:pineco: - conifer (the ones that make pine cones) trees are most abundant in boreal forests and nearly everywhere south of the arctic in Canada is boreal forest.
